Google, bing and yahoo ranking quandary?

Different algorightms. This happens to me all the time. Google is more picky, and places more emphasis on the mysterious "authority" which is a big secret.
Bing and Yahoo tend to be more straightforward and clear about how to rank, e.g. keywords, SEO, etc specific measurements.
I focus on Google, and WA focuses on ranking in Google so just follow WA training. Usually that'll get you ranked easily in Yahoo and Bing, but Google has more factors, and more competition, so it can be harder to rank.
My best advice is to search Jay's SEO webinars to seek out ideas of how to improve your post and raise the rank over time.

It can be a bit complex to identify where to adjust the .css file but if you right click on the place on your site (or any site) and view the site with the inspect option. on the right, you should see the .css file of the section that you have selected.
Then you can locate the referenced .css section in your theme files.
Keep in mind that if you adjust the .css file, when the theme updates it will overwrite your changes unless you create a child theme. Introduction: Child Themes https://www.w3schools.com/css/
The whole point of choosing a theme is to use one you like. There are many thousands of themes that look better than Renard and/or are more customizable. Choose a New Theme The developers of Renard do not appear to respond to their help forum and it doesn't seem to be a very popular theme.
If you're really stuck on using Renard then you may need to learn CSS to achieve the look you desire.
Marion, Thanks. I certainly have considered changing the theme. If I don't care for the results I get making changes, I will do just that.
Most themes these days have provision for adding CSS without creating a child theme or editing the theme's files.
Look under Appearance > Customize and you'll find "Additional CSS" at the bottom of the list.
In other themes, it may be called Custom CSS or something similar.
