You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme. How To Use The Ad Inserter Plugin
My issue: I accidently deleted my Youtube account before I was abled to create & post a 'Thumbnail'. I can still retrieve this deleted Youtube account if I post my URL insi
Ok so I have a few questions because I don’t quite understand yours.
You say you deleted your account before you could upload a thumbnail? A thumbnail is the cover image you choose for your published video.
If you deleted your account and then went to its url it wouldn’t show up at all. If you can see your YouTube channel, then it’s there and it’s just a matter of logging in.
As far as thumbnails go, if you don’t select one YouTube automatically selects a frame from the video as the cover.
Hi Eric, thanks again for clearing that up.
Yes, when I type in the URL in my browser Only, my Youtube channel do pop up, but ONLY through my browser! (I have No Way of logging into this account.) I tried already.
This is why I mentioned earlier I have No way of adding a 'Thumbnail' when going through my browser (It doesn't show the location/area to include this). It feels like I'm opening someone else's Youtube account.
Later, I created a 'Custom thumbnail' (a very nice one), by opening a 2nd Youtube channel. I wanted to apply this 'Custom thumbnail' to the 1st channel, But I guess it's too late now.
If you can see your channel, then it's active and doing just fine. All you have to do is go to YouTube and sign in. The sign in button is up at the top right when you get to YouTube.
I think you may be confused as to what a thumbnail is. The only reason you'd need to create a thumbnail is if you published a video. The thumbnail is the cover photo for a video you publish. A YouTube channel doesn't have a thumbnail.
A YouTube channel does have a cover photo at the top of the channel page, but you'd need to be logged into your account to edit your channel page.
To sign into YouTube, just go to the website and click on sign in in the upper right. If you're already signed in, then click on your profile picture in the upper right and just click on YouTube studio which takes you to your back office.
If you can see your YouTube channel online, rest assured it's just fine and all you need to do is sign into it.
Hi - try the link below and see if it still shows under deleted accounts and if it gives you the option to restore it.
https://myaccount.google.com/brandaccounts
Thank you for the info Diane. I viewed the page, and don't see anything related to Youtube. (It just talks about Google/ Branding accounts)... or Is branding the same as a Youtube account?
I have my Google accounts. I'm trying to locate my deleted Youtube account. I didn't see anything related to a deleted Youtube accounts.
Under Deleted Accounts:
It says... You have No deleted brand accounts.
Are you viewing that page while logged into the Google account you used for YouTube?
It has to be the same Gmail address.
If so, as per the screenshot, if you had a deleted YouTube account that was possible to restore, it would show in the Deleted Accounts box.
And if your YouTube channel was live, it would show under the box that says Your Brand Accounts.
Thank you for your assistance. Per your 'sreenshot' that's the same thing I'm looking at, using the same logged in google account I use for YouTube. ('No deleted Brand accounts')
It was just something I wanted to add (My 'thumbnail') I guess I'll just have to work around it. Thanks again Diane.

Thank you for the links. I looked at the Youtube video. Not getting the page that tells me to open my 'Account' tab. (I don't see mine.)
Good Evening Everybody, another long day out, so hope that you are all enjoying your Saturday. Just a quick visit before I have something to eat.
