I never seen this before. My SiteHealth details under plugins show a red 0%. But in my dashboard, I have 9 installed active plugins. Why the difference?
The difference is that you are using 9 active plugins compared to WA's site health which recommends no more than 5 that is why the 0% it is not saying you don't have plugins but according to WA's site health, they recommend no more that 5 hence your results.
"I wouldn't worry at all the site health along with most of the details within WA are only a guide not a fact to keep a strict rule.
I have 0% with plugins in site health as I have 20 plugins but all are working fine and my speed is good.
So I wouldn't worry about the site health details
Thanks Jeff the WA site health is useful but not essential just like SEO plugins they can be useful but not a necessity or to be taken as factual. Partha has proven that many times in his post.
most welcome bear in mind that at times of updates some plugins may clash as well. The main reason why WA state 5 or less is to minimise the plugins. Which is great for those that know coding but at times some plugins will do it for you.
Wishing you well
Andre
Sorry, I was thinking you meant site health as reported by the plugin, not as reported by WA. I never look at it. The number of plugins in my sites is governed by what I need, not an arbitrary number from someone else's opinion.

I'm trying to get a better understanding of this Smush plugin? Does it have anything to do with increased speed on your website? If so, this what I need, but already have 6 plu
Hi Ronald
I actually have 34 plugins activated... all with a purpose,,, and an excellent page load speed.
So the concept of limiting plugins to a maximum of 5 is good for complete beginners who should be focused on writing skills... but not useful once you develop a little knowledge for selecting good plugins.
I don't use Smush nowadays but to answer your question... Smush is used to optimise the digital size of images so can have a positive effect on page load speed, as can may other image optimisation plugins.

Hi Ronald
I take care to avoid plugins that slow down my site. Also, I use a few tactics that help.
:-)
Richard
Although they provided all the features in pro mode,(subscription) and they increase the price quite heavily this year. That's why I use their free version and even though free version works well so far.
Hi - there is no limit on your number of plugins.
Providing they are lightweight, well-coded, and up-to-date, you could have 20 or more if you needed them!
Thanks Diane, I have always been afraid of using too many plugins. (Richard says he uses 34 plugins with no problem with speed)
Hi, Ron
I’ve used Smush and it does a good job compressing images.
I like Imagify better and I serve all my images in WebP format.

Hi WA members
Anyone ever went through this: I check my google analytic numbers every Sunday (Users, New users, Pageviews, Session time etc;) Over the past 3 weeks, everythi
It happened to me last fall and the analytics code from WordPress was not there anymore. Check to see if it's still in your header.php
I don't pay google no mind though. I fired them last year back in November and I am about to fire them again.

Hi
Google sent me an email to fix, 'page with redirect' & 'Excluded by 'Noindex' tag' I first received this from Google a couple weeks ago. I spent 2 days making adjustm
You may have accidentally added a noindex tag to your page.
You might have accidentally checked the discourage search engine option in your wordpress settings?
Hey Abbie, I went through all my 38 post, 9 pages. I looked at the 'Discourage Search Engine'.. section(Box NOT checked)
Then went to the 'Robots setting' Looked at 'Robots Meta' on each page..(Index box Not Check)
Need further guidance. Maybe something locked up in system memory? Don't know.
