My Sorta 1 Meal a Day Fasting

Goal is 1 meal a day and fast for 23 hours
That is my goal to eat 1 meal a day and fast for the rest of the time. I have been getting close to my goal recently but I am pacing myself gradually. At the present time I start eating at 5pm and eat dinner at 6pm/7pm and stop eating by 8 pm. This so far has been working for me and I am losing weight.

I am also working out on the BodyBeast workout which is an awesome program. Here is a program that all you need to do is follow the CD and write the weights down that you are using. This is a great strength training program that is making me feel great. As you know doing strength training is a must if you are going to fast for any amount of time.

Now, I know life is difficult and I do get hungry sometimes during the day but overall I feel lighter and full of energy not eating until dinner time. It is freedom to finally not have to worry about or having to stop every time I need to eat something. The weekend is the toughest because the family is with me but starting to eat at 5pm is still working out for me.

The only day that I have some difficulty with this way of life is Sunday because we go to church and afterwards we all want to go get something to eat and I comply. I mean it is only one day and I get to eat a great meal with my family. So on Sunday I eat lunch and dinner and have no regrets about it.
On Monday I will be going in for my yearly physical and they told me I need to fast for 12 hours. Back when I was eating 3 meals a day this would have been hard but now I fast about 21 hours every day and it's just another day. But next week I will be only be eating for 3 hours a day and fasting for 22 hours and so on until I only eat for 2 hours a day.

I do recommend you stay hydrated and take a good multivitamin to get your nutrients in. And when you decide to come off the fast eat healthy foods they are great for you.
