Dear WA Members,
Firstly, would like to thank this wonderful community for every help rendered throughout the year. Would also like to thank Kyle and Carson for the way t
Nope, you didn't try everything.
You know that I've always suggested you add as many contents as you can within your website by targeting different keywords, but you always add very less content on your website. If you really want the fast growth, at least try to add 3-4 articles per week by targeting different keywords, then you can see the big change within a month.
And also let me know how much traffic now you have on your website so that I can give you some tips to earn from your website as soon as possible. It is not necessary only to sell things to earn money, there are other ways you can make money from your website.
And Black Friday is coming. In this Black Friday (from November 24 to November 27), you can purchase yearly membership only at $299 per year price, which means just $0.82 per day. Don't you think you can save that much per day just to develop your career?
Before you decide to quit, I also suggest you read my this post:- https://www.newsonlineincome.com/things-rich-people-buy/
And,
If you finally decide to quit, then at least give me your website so that I can use those all contents for my own website because I know I can make money from those contents very soon in the future.
Good Luck!
100 traffic per month is good at starting, but you already been here for 1 year, so that is very bad. Can you tell me how many contents you have in total on your website? Just reply me this, then I can help you to increase traffic to your website very soon. Once you able to make 5000 traffic per month, I want you to apply with Adsense. If you follow my all advice, I can make 5000 traffic per month on your website within 2-3 months. So, first of all, tell me how many posts/pages total you have on your website.
So, that is definitely a very slow progress. Now you do one thing. Before you give up, at least for 2-3 months keep on writing 4-5 articles per week, not only by targeting low QSR but also low QSR keywords with some decent traffic number. Now you must give little more time for keyword research. OK, I give you target. This week at least add 3 contents by targeting low QSR and high traffic keywords and then after you complete, contact me either here or in my FB ( https://www.facebook.com/rajde029 ) and show me those contents and let me know which keyword you target for those contents and how much traffic and QSR number is for that keyword. So, now I will set your target and give you further suggestion so that within 2-3 months you can at least make 5000 traffic and apply with AdSense. But, you must follow my each and every advice. So, let's roll on first of all by targeting to write 3 contents within this one week. Your time starts now. Contact me with results in coming Monday.
Best of Luck!
Hey buddy, I suggest you try once again. And here's my piece of advice: Yoga may be something you really love, but when choosing a niche, I'd suggest that you choose something where target customers are desperate enough to buy what you recommend ike their lives depend on it. Perhaps, you will make a lot of sale if you do that. Like for example, a miracle product for helping regrow bald heads. Or, a device for helping someone suffering from Apnea (difficulty in breathing while sleeping). Something like that, a product that people are so desperate enough to have, and you will make a sale.
Think about pains people are suffering from, and offer yours as the only solution. ;)
Hello,
I had a look at your Yoga site, and I do have two suggestions:
1. Target keywords that have a QSR of 50 and below, as was mentioned by another member in the comments. Your article titles are general and the competition may be too fierce for your chosen keywords.
2. Go for keywords that involve products related to your niche. I don't know if you are already doing that, but it seems like you have a lot of articles that don't sell any products.
There is plenty of opportunity to sell products in the Yoga niche, but you will need to be targeting keywords related to products and add product affiliate links within your articles. If you are going for Adsense or banner ad income, it will be more difficult to earn an income because you need to get a lot more visitors.
Thank you, Nadia. Noted your (first) suggestion. Will take it forward for the forthcoming posts.
If you check the top menu item - Product Reviews. I do have lots of products reviews posts in my niche.
Why do you think Adsense will be difficult to earn an income and would work only if I have a lot of visitors?
Yes, Adsense is only good if you have thousands of visitors a day. You could still add Adsense along with affiliate links. However, Adsense will not nearly be as lucrative as affiliate programs.
Thank you, Nadia. I now recollect that I had applied for AdSense program earlier, however, it got rejected (might be due to the age of site - which was 4 months old then). Anyways, will apply now and hope it gets approved.
With Black Friday coming up you can renew your yearly membership for only $299. That is an average of less than $25 /month. Everyone can afford that and if it means cutting back on other things, it’s absolutely worth it when you think of the amount of training and mentorship you get here. Ultimately, it’s up to you, but this is a very affordable option and the best available online :)
Thank you, Eric. If I had at least generated even a few sales, I would have had no doubt on the renewal. Anyways, still have some time to decide and act upon the renewal. Let's see how things go.
3 Feet From Gold! Napoleon Hill! Don't quit, figure out what you can do to take it to the next step! I am frugal and have found it very easy to attract interest to what I am doing/selling by joining groups and conversations in Social Media groups. I actually make it my business to JOIN a group or 2 EVEYDAY. Then Post a comment or join a conversation don't forget to leave YOUR LINK. Find groups interested in Health, Yoga, and anything you can relate your business to. "STRUT YOUR STUFF! Get attention. Don't quit 3 feet from gold I have a Facebook group where we discuss thing about selling. This was my topic this morning. If people do not know you are there how can you sell? Promote your stuff
Thank you, Joanne. I agree and this thought (3 feet from Gold) keeps coming to my mind which is why I find myself in a dilemma. I accept your suggestion and will work towards it. Thanks a lot.
I just viewed your website and that is a great yoga website. You have travelled your journey far enough. I noticed that you have products to sell but no advertisements. Why don't you apply to Google Adsense or Media net to display their advertisement? You can even display both of their advertisements. That will boost your spirit to grow your website traffics.
Thank you, Melani for taking your precious time to visit my website. Haven't thought or studied about advertisements on Google Adsense (though I recently started Bing ads - which gave me Rs3000 off for initial promotion). Any idea how much should I be prepared mentally to spend on ads until I see some traffic or earnings?
You will not spend money at all but get money if your website visitors click on the advertisements displayed on your website. The more traffics who click the advertisements on your website, the more you will get money. I knew someone who got a lot of traffics by sharing her website articles in various social medias. She spent a lot of time to promote her website, not to write the articles. She made a deal with some doctors who write for her website. She got $ 500 per month now from her 10 month old website and I am sure that will increase fast. There are many free traffic sources: Twitter, FB, Istagram, Google+, Pinterest, StumbleUpon, Triberr, etc. I want to follow her ways to get traffics for my website.
It seems you don't know what is Google Adsense, here is detail review on Google Adsense:- https://www.newsonlineincome.com/how-to-make-money-from-google-adsense/
You can apply it for free but you must have more than 5000 traffic per month. If you don't have that much, first focus to make traffic. You can earn around $70 to $100 per month from 5000 monthly traffic from Adsense just by placing ads for which you can apply free with Adsense and can very easily put the ads in your website. But, before you apply, make sure you have 5000 monthly traffic and also let me check your website so that I can check if there is anything you need to redo before applying with Adsense.
Good Luck!
I am sorry, Melani. I misunderstood Adsense for Adwords. I now realize that I had applied for the Adsense program when my site was 4 months old and it got rejected. However, I will apply again and hope it gets approved.
Thanks for your suggestions. Will try and implement those, going forward.
Don't apply for Adsense at the moment, otherwise, you will again get rejected. Wait till you make more traffic.
I like to see it this way: Where on earth can you find an education for 299, with full access, websites, hosting, security and support during a whole year. Have you ever considered to write training for WA (you get paid), or to use your knowledge to educate people in your community or set up websites for others? Not only your website is a way of earning, you can monetize your knowledge as well.
Thank you, Loes. I completely agree and that's the reason I said am confused. Otherwise, I wouldn't even think of renewing my membership.
I did give a thought of this (setting up a website for others), however, as I myself haven't yet started earnings of my site, I couldn't motivate myself enough to do it for others. What kind of training do you mean? and how much would I get paid? Most of the things I have learned is already available in WA.
I have written 102 WA training, and it pays my fee for the WA easily.

I totally sympathise with you, carthic-wa. I keep thinking that there is one crucial thing I have omitted to do. If I could find out what it is, everything will come right. I still believe it is possible, I still have a shred of hope. I wish you all th best.

Hi Carthik
Honestly if you can afford it there is no better time to renew than now because of the black Friday sale.
There has been MANY times I felt like throwing in the towel but really glad I didn't!
Will also tell you what happened to me today after also being here 1 year Carthik... today I got my first sale! :D
Someone that signed up 69 days ago under my ref link upgraded to premium today only!
Yes it took a year and signing up exactly 139 people but now it's just a matter of time before the snowball gets bigger. In my opinion the other 138 are missing out on a great opportunity but maybe they will realize this and jump on board soon ^^,
You probably won't find a more loving, passionate and supportive community like the one on Wealthy Affiliate elsewhere and if you did it would take a year to become reacquainted.
Personally I would fight to stay here and make the best of this opportunity and take full advantage of the tools and training that is available.
Best regards,
Kamil
Thank you, Kamil. Congrats on your first sale !! :) I agree this is a wonderfully supportive community. Will truly miss this if I do not renew. Few days left for the renewal. Let me see how things go.

For most of my keywords, I see that only my Google+ posts are getting ranked on the first page, whereas my site is way back. Could any one please let me know the reason.
The articles which rank through Google Plus will be visible only to those who search through Google by signing up their Google account. If someone doesn't have Google account like gmail or Google plus and so on, and if they search, in search results they will not find the Google Plus results.
So, you can get less traffic from Google Plus search results, but that doesn't mean you will not get any traffic. There are still people who sign up in Google account like gmail.
But, you will get good amount of traffic only after your post get well ranked.
So, like I always said, keep on writing more content and interlink your own content with each other. When you link your one content with another, that will help to rise your content in search engine. If you continuously link your one article/content form several articles, then that one article will even come in first page in Google by beating all competition because the best backlink for your particular website page is the backlinks from other pages of your same website.
Thank you, Suman. That was a good learning. I especially liked the last sentence - best backlink for your site is the backlink of the same site (which is nothing but internal links). Well said.
Google is your big brother and he's watching you closely, so when you google your keyword, Google knows what's in your cache, and will show you what they think you like to see.
When you want to know exactly where you rank, search incognito
Thank you, Loes, again, for waking me up. I was of the false impression that my Google + posts are getting ranked on the 1st page. This really is an eye opener.

One of my question that I posted 2 months ago, I was delighted to see the reply from Kyle immediately. However, when I followed the conversation and asked another question, I d
Sometimes Kyle get hanged due to loads of messages. But, if you don't get reply from him within 5 days, you can place your query within the comment section of his profile or ask him to reply you through there. Once he see your comment there, he will reply you either through PM or just there.
About linking sites, Kyle and Jay, both are saying same, only you misunderstand that. What Kyle means is never try to get the link from other site unnaturally which includes buying backlinks form the cheap sites. Jay also discourage that. But when Jay is saying to get backlink from authority site is best, he means getting that naturally, means if you get some sites which contents are relevant to your sites and where you think you can get backlinks and if that site have good authority, then sure you can ask to get backlink to that site and same will be vice versa. Means you can also link other good sites in your article. But, not too many links of other sites. Only 1-2 links within one article.
More than that, there is not any benefit of linking other's site if you can't get any sales incentive by linking those sites. Yep, if you are linking high authorities sites like Wikipedia, then sure you can link those even without any benefit because that can help you in ranking. But, never link other sites free without any reason.
Hope this makes everything clear.
Hi, Suman. Thanks for your suggestion. Will follow your advice on contacting Kyle.
Regarding linking site - I guess there is a little misunderstanding here. The discussion in the above question is about external linking a site (and not backlinking my site).
I got an email from an authority site and they asked me to backlink THEIR site from my site, stating their content will be helpful to my site's readers.
In the question, I never asked suggestion on getting a backlink from another site. I never said that Jay is saying to get a backlink from an authority site. I only said that Jay recommends having an external link (from our site) in all posts to an authority site and Kyle has asked me to do that only when we get a financial incentive, whereas Jay hasn't mentioned that in the training, which is kind of contradicting.
Hope this clears your confusion. Anyways I have followed Loes' suggestion and waiting for their response.
Yep I know, but I replied additional things as well. However, after backlink thing, I also replied you about linking from your site to another site, so please read my whole reply once again :)
If you again can't find that in my previous reply, then here I copy paste that part again:-
"Means you can also link other good sites in your article.
But, never link other sites free without any reason.""
And, you misunderstand what Kyle says. He doesn't mean not to put the link of other high authority sites like Wikipedia. He only means not to put too many link of other sites, and never put link of less authority unless that is very necessary and never put too many affiliate links of any sites. He is talking about affiliate links and links of low authority sites, not just a link of high authority site like Wiki. But, that also doesn't mean you should put too many links of high authority sites.
Hope this makes everything clear.
When I started here I put in the effort and got my ranking in WA down to around 100 for a while. During that time I would get help when needed from many people, as well as giving as much as I could.
Now I have let my ranking slide, and worked on my business more I do not expect quick answers, if I get them great.
This is a forum where input creates output, ie you help and people help you.
As far as Kyle is concerned, I have seen him here talking to others on chat, answering questions etc but as there are so many members he cannot cover everyone.
Glad you have an answer now, good luck with your business and keep on asking q's and providing assistance yourself and the rewards will come.
Thank you, Steve. I understand that Kyle is busy. However, as he gave an answer to my first question, I expected that he will answer the follow-up questions too.
Thanks for your wishes. Wish you great success in the year ahead.
I understand you are a little disappointed, but please remember all the good things about this community. You can always ask your questions using the search bar on top.
To answer your question:
Could you please suggest how much of financial incentive would make a good deal?
I would say a good deal is 10% or higher
A reasonable deal is 3% - 10% most affiliated companies are paying this
A bad deal is
Thank you, Loes for answering my second question. Could you please answer the first one too. Here is the question (making it easier for you to refer).
Kyle has replied that "If they don't have an affiliate program or there is no financial incentive for you to link to their website, you might want to refrain from doing so as it will lead to traffic leak."
However, in one of Jay's live training sessions, he had given a Keyword Ranking Checklist, where he had recommended having external links in our post to authority sites, boosts the ranking. I don't think he mentioned about getting any financial incentive.
This is contradicting Kyle's advice and that's what is confusing me - whom to follow.
If they don't have an affiliate program, you can send them an email and ask them to consider giving you an affiliate link, I did that with a company in the Netherlands, and they agreed to 7% commission.
If they do not agree, go for the second best. You'll spend your time for nothing.
Thank you, Loes. Based on your suggestion, have asked them for an affiliate link. Let me see how they respond.
Appreciate your guidance.
I dropped in to help, but I see that Loes has already done a very good job.
I can't do better.
Thank you Loes.
Just remember that we are a wonderful community and very helpful. You will always see many members rushing to help.
All the best my friend.
Thank you, Usiba. Appreciate your intention to help. I know this is a wonderful community. That's the only thing which keeps me positive and hopeful to start earning from my website. As I get more experience, even I look forward to helping as many people as I can.
I wish you great success with your online endeavor. Hope you start earning soon, very soon.
Thanks a lot for your wishes, Usiba. That really means a lot. Wish you too great success in the year ahead.
Your best bet of getting a response from Kyle or Carson is via a PM; remember they are very busy men and there are over 800.000 members.
Hi Courtney,
Have tried that too (mentioned in the 2nd paragraph above). It's only when he did not respond that I posted this question in the forum.
Sometimes you have to weigh up the pros and cons and decide for yourself. This is one of those times.
I understand Marion. We are asking questions as we are not able to decide and we believe that we will get it answered by experts here. However, when two persons, who we strongly believe as our mentors, give contradicting advice, that's when you get confused.
This might turn out to be a big factor (either way) in improving or leaking of traffic.
So is it an "authority site"? Will you gain anything by linking to them? If you can't see that it will improve anything for you then don't do it.
I can't answer your question because I don't know enough about your website or theirs. There's an old saying "when in doubt, leave it out". If you're not sure then don't do it.
Yes. That site shows up on the first page for one of the keywords. Going by Jay's training, I was of the belief that external links improve our ranking, that's the reason I was about to agree. However, Kyle recommended going ahead only if I get monetary benefits.

No response received from kyle to my question?

You need to decide what the benefit is for you linking to their product. If they don't have an affiliate program or there is no financial incentive for you to link to their website, you might want to refrain from doing so as it will lead to traffic leak.
You will get all sorts of offers like this as you build out your website and if it feels like it is a one sided offer, I wouldn't bother.
Thank you, Kyle. Getting a reply from you, came as a pleasant surprise. Could you please clarify a couple of points below.
1. In one of Jay's live training sessions, he had given a Keyword Ranking Checklist, where he had recommended having external links in our post to authority sites, boosts the ranking. However, I don't think he mentioned about getting any financial incentive.
2. Could you please suggest how much of financial incentive would make a good deal?
