That I haven't done with Easyazon. I have created a blog post with a series of images/text added, of related products, with original content in between them.
The affiliate id is embedded from the way you do settings in EA, if I remember correctly. (suddenly not sure, it's been a while).
Okay so I bit the bullet and upgraded my Ryan theme. A few days ago I made a few changes to my site using the new upgraded features, and all was well.
Now I am going back
Ignore? On moving forward with site customizations? Please tell me you're kidding Mike! Not trying to be argumentative but that's not very wise advice. Just saying.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting but I got the impression that if you don't upgrade after those actions there would be no problem!
She is saying that after upgrading to premium theme with the company and making changes to her site, that now logging in is receiving a message to upgrade again. Certainly there is a glitch with recognition in the WP Dashboard of the Free vs Pro theme, and proceeding with further site changes without acknowledgment/verification of that upgrade is an unwise move.
She needs to address this prior to theme modification and, as I have recommended to many, establish a Child Theme prior making further modifications. It's a wise move that reduces future heartache/headache and time consumption. Ignoring an issue in a site structure is bad advice. Doesn't matter if you're creating a blog where text can be copied and pasted, as many here do - or if you're creating a true website designed to sell product - as I have.
You simply do not ignore warnings like that without doing your due diligence. Otherwise you will not achieve seccess. See, I have to go in and keep changing that to the incorrect spelling. Ya dig?
Hi Betty, I would contact the theme developer support so they can look into it.
When you do changes to your website and there is an update with your theme, you can easily lose all of your work!
I ended up adding a child theme to avoid that loss it really helps and only takes a minute to install. Just make sure you look over the child theme before you hit 'publish' to make sure it has what you want. The plugin is called the 'Child Theme Configurator' and it's well worth adding it to save your work.
Try clearing your browser's cache by pressing ctrl + shift + del and proceed from there.
David
Log in to their site and refresh your browser. If you're not updated to their Pro version, contact their support. And honestly, before you start making any customizations, I'd walk through this. It'll save you a lot of trouble moving forward. Peace! :-) Create a Child Theme in 5 Minutes

I just created my AdSense account. I notice the ads on my website are not relevant to my niche. Is this normal? Is there a way I can customize the category of ads that appear?<
You can customize the ad categories by going into the "Allow & block ads" section.
You can customize by specific website or all your sites.
It's quite straightforward but if you need any help with it let me know and I'll be happy to help.
Yep, normal. Cant do anything about it...but I find that OK.
Tom
Oh, and IF you do click on the ads yourself once in a while it OK, just don't do it every day. Google will suspend you for 30 days, and then your back on track.
Happened to me....UPS. Learned my lesson!
That is quite normal. Right now Google is monitoring the activity on your site. You'll need to demonstrate that your site is worthy of getting more targeted ads, which also would be higher paying.
DO NOT click on any of these ads yourself. Google will kick you out forever if you do so. It's also not really right to ask family or friends to click either. That's just costing the advertisers money and they won't get any results. Let things happen naturally. Keep working on building your site, and you will indeed one day get relevant ads; work hard and that day will come even faster.
Congrats on your AdSense results, driving traffic to your site is the key to success online. See Marion's message regarding how AdSense works and you should be thrilled.
All the best!

Adsense ads are relevant to the viewer. So they will show ads related to your niche and also ads that are related to your readers browsing habits. You will see different ads to those that your readers see.
I've never heard of any way to customize the ads that Google puts on your site. Have you tried searching for training and/or blogs on the subject?
There's no way you can alter the ads given to you by Google. They do make it more relevant anyway. I found that infolinks ads are usually more relevant, but they are a bit disturbing.
Can I customize adsense to be relevent to my niche?

So I understand the importance of having a Google+ account as explained by Kyle in trainings, and I have mine set up. I post every one of my articles on my account.
I kno
Howdy Betty, not that important in the grand scheme of things on the net. Just keep posting new articles on your blog and after every article hit all the social sites with highlight and link to article. Videos are awesome as well.
Bless You,
Sam and Deb

Steven already gave you a great answer.
But I'll add to this, when social media networks are analysed for market research, the recurring conclusion is, that it's far more beneficial to a brand to have only a handful of 'true believers' than it is to have a large circle which doesn't convert, and doesn't help carry the message far.
These are especially important observations for companies who believe they need to spend a lot of money to promote the growth of their customer networks, or else pay for celebrity sponsorship. It's been repeatedly demonstrated that neither of these offer as much return on investment like a true fan or 'true believer'.
Do your best to find your true tribe, and strive to be of value to them. Positively engage in what they have to offer, and develop content that they too, can positively engage with. They might not be a large tribe, but if they are super-engaged, sharing and commenting on your work, it will be a much better result for you than a large, but benign network of followers.
The reasoning behind Kyle (and also Jay of Magistudios) is that with posting your posts to Google+ and fetching your URL and that story, your posts will rank far easier and faster on Google.
The second reason for having social media is simply to engage in a community and get a following to be able to promote your links towards.
If you want to create a following in any of the social media platforms (g+, facebook, twitter, pinterest etc), you will have to be active in them. It is a rather time consuming process, but it can be done.
It helps a lot however if you post your posts with some form of introduction (blog title | blog description; your engagement text + link).

One way of getting your posts on Google+ is to join communities that fit your niche. You will meet new people this way and others will follow you because you are in the community.
Don't discount having people at WA follow you. You'd be surprised how many people here are interested in what you have to say, or will know someone who will be interested and pass your site along.
With social media buttons on your website, you will also pick up followers. Some people may not sign up for emails but will follow you on social media.
Best of luck to you and Merry Christmas!
Anita
Not sure...I have followed many WA members on G+ but rarely see them there. I like the posts of all I recognize but get very few likes back. Still trying though!
If you have a large following it helps get your material get out there and the more +1's you get the more credit you get as an author. It helps build your authority in Google eyes. At least that is my understanding of it.
Good question, looking forward to someone advising us
I rather gather you will get followers from your posts. Anyway I hope so.
Cheers Jae

So I have the Ryan theme for my website. I love it. It's easy to use, and mostly I like the minimalist style.
I am looking to start doing more customization, and I see t
I upgraded to the Ryan theme. For the same reason. I wanted more customization options + the page builder. You can certainly make do with the free option. However, you will get more options for homepage layout options and custom designed pages. Let me know if you have a specific question. I could send you some screenshots.
I appreciate your asking such a question although its real good answer is still far to come. For me, just like you, I have switched back and forth numerous times in trying many themes but still could not find one fitting all what I need and like for e-marketing activities, especially on how to implement squeeze page, activate autoreponder, sell online counseling services,... etc. I am still messy in the puzzle of how to proceed with an effective e-marketing. Just looking at www.ebettercare.com and see what you may suggest me to make it become an effective e-marketing site.
At least, you found it is easy to operate and you like it.
Much appreciated for sharing your experience.

Depends.
They have not got that many active installs yet.
https://wordpress.org/themes/ryan/
Maybe ask them a technical question and see how good is the response might be in order.
If you upgrade, is it for 1 website OR for as many sites as you want?
Is the additional functionally worth it in your eyes?
Is that additional functionally available in other themes for free?
Personally I do not like the idea of paying for a WP Theme.
The one I use, also has a premium version that costs money. Lately I found out that they no longer support it. I cross the bridge of changing themes if I find out that my current FREE theme is no longer up to the job.
I don't use that theme, but you may want to check into the Thrive Themes. I upgraded a few of my sites to one of their themes and love it. Super fast... optimized photo content... lots of features built in that allowed me to use less plugins which helped my site speed...
Best of luck!
If the upgrade fee isn't a hardship - it sounds like it would be well worth it... and, it sounds like you are all for it, so ...

I don't have it Betty, but just did a live demo on their site. It looks pretty good, and offers XML Content imports, which allows you to set up your site just like the demo. So if you like the theme, $31 isn't bad.
I bought a bunch from Modern Themes https://modernthemes.net They run $25 per theme of $59 for the entire bundle. Check out some demos there, and they also have XML Content imports. Hope this helps! :-)
If your happy with the way it is for now, I'd say leave it the way it is.I can't speak more of it, nor have I ever upgraded other than going premium.
