Hello and Greetings to all from a couple of Texans. Deb and I have been playing around with the Internet for years it seems, wow the old dial up days were a lot of fun.
The pic was taken in 2004 when we were attempting our first web site with GDI. The pic stuck of course.
Quick History: I was born in South Carolina and Dear old Dad started traveling the US for a company and we ended up in Mississippi in the fourth grade and so did this cute little girl from Arkansas, whose Dad was also transferred to the same town. The first time we sat in the back of the local theater, she was 14 and I had just turned 16. That was in 1964. After college, I joined the U S Air Force and Deb's dad was transferred to Louisiana. We stayed in touch and so after basic training and transferring to Denver for electronics and technical school training for the RF-4C. Late one Friday night, I called her up and said, "Hey Deb, I am having to learn how to iron military clothes and I sure wish you would come to Denver and help". That was in April 1969. She was senior in HS and somehow her mom and dad said ok. The next month, March 8, we were married in an Air Force Chapel. Not perfect by any means, was never supposed to last, why would her mom and dad let her go to Denver to marry this soon-to-be Viet Nam Vet Renegade? We showed them, Next March 8 will be 47 awesome, fun, exciting and venturesome years to say the least.
We decided to get out of Air Force and about two years before we did, we met an awesome couple Ron and Toby Hale, who were big time Amway. That was a huge life changing event for us and the training and business concepts have become some of our long held beliefs.
After several business ventures and traveling the U. S. for several years, we decided to settle down some and learn Internet Marketing. It has been fun and we RV'd full time for almost five years, us and our two little poodles with the only requirement being Good Internet Access. Not we are ready to do it again, the RV'ing that is. What better way to travel North America than blogging and teaching others the same. We look forward to out second chance with Wealthy Affiliates and the opportunity to reach out to others looking as well.

Success to All and God Bless!

Your bio is similar to mine, except I became a Koran prisoner of love when I joined the Air force in 1951 and met this Alabama girl who was 19 and I was 20. I spent 20 years selling life insurance and have been in the real estate business for over 40 years. I have made a lot of money, but my money talked it said "Good Bye". We have been married for over 65 years and have 4 grown children. I managed my real estate office with DBase for years, but never got into the internet thing until 3 years ago. Long story short I still work doing commercial real estate appraisals and sales but have to use a walker to get around. Hoping I can learn enough here at WA to pay my payments. Visit my web site www.raybrannum.com and read my blog on CBD. Like to be Facebook friends at Ray Brannum, Guntersville, AL.

I love Texas as I lived there when I was in the 8 and 9th grade. Ended up in California for 10, 11 and 12.

Hello Sam and Deb! Thank you for the follow and will be following you both here as well. I'm sure you have heard the saying, "Ozzy and Harriot", well if not, your a charming couple and enjoyed reading your history, how romantic! You both are living the dream and I admire that and hope your future continues with good fortune, especially with WA! All the best in this endless journey! :) Carrie

Thank you Carrie, loved your profile, especially the comment;"I can say with both remorse and gratitude that much was learned within these experiences and have finally found myself tired of working for others and not gaining much for myself in the world of earning!" I totally know how that happens too. My favorite phrase in 1994 when we decided that enough was enough become; "we are totally un-employable." Love it.
WA will also fire up that dream again for any one looking for a way out. We are truly blessed to connect with you Carrie.

Such encouraging words, thank you so much! You both have made a major impact here at WA, and love how you made grace to your own dreams instead of chasing the wheel as most of us do until we find a wonderful place like WA!

Blessings,

Carrie :)

Hello Sam and Deb, I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your network. I have followed you too. I look forward to learning from your experience. I'm a little envious because the wife and I want to do some traveling when I retire in about two years. WA will allow us to do just that. Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Hi Barb, thanks for the Texas education. Deb and I totally agree with ya, WA is an Awesome place to meet people from all walks of life and places on the planet who mostly have a common goal. By the way, we are in the Cedar Creek Lake area, about 50 miles south east of Dallas. Lot of gray hair in this area, lol.
Bless you,

Welcome to WA! Thank you for adding me to your network. I have added you to mine as well. I look forward to working with you.

I have a friend who just downgraded from an RV to a conversion van with solar power and a small kitchen. She travels with her dog Kaiya and she does Periscope videos on Rv'ing and all the interesting places she goes.

Best of luck in all your endeavors!

I love the story of Sam & Deb! You guys should write a book about it. I'd buy it!

In your earliest profile comment, you said you two been internet marketing for about 5 years before joining WA. And, with the help of WA, you hoped to take your success to the next level.

Did that happen?

I see you joined WA Dec 19, 2009. What's it been like, being a member for so long?

I'm following you now, because I think you're fascinating. :)

Hi Nanna, year we started this journey a long time ago. We always knew WA was an awesome system to learn the pearls of wisdom regarding professional web design and marketing. I am sure you have heard the phrase, "Life does interfere sometimes". Soon, we will do a Reveal All post here. Our Battles may not be as tough as others but very big and tough to overcome for us.
God Bless and Looking for the future here with great people like you,
Sam and Deb

Hi Sam, hi Deb: great to hear from you!

I have, indeed, heard (and used) phrases similar to: "Life does interfere sometimes".

To know you're planning a "reveal all" post of your WA experience is very exciting: I very much look forward to reading it.

Best wishes for your health, happiness and accomplishments!

Hi, Sam. Enjoyed reading your profile. I was a fulltime RVer with a friend for about 5 years. I came home to care for my elderly mother, and he's still on the road, but not in the same old rig we started out in! Thanks for following me. Followed you back.

Hello fellow Texans. Dennis in Fort Worth here. Your story sounds so familiar. Liz and I met in April 71 and married Nov. 26/71. No chance in heck of it lasting. Two stints in Amway (Bill Britt) 2 kids, 4 grand-kids, 10 year bout with the IRS and we're still together.
Just getting started with WA and feeling somewhat like a fish out of water. But I'm enjoying it and I love the interaction.

Sam, I love your area of Texas. I worked out of Tyler for several years and bought oil and gas leases throughout the area.

Are you RVers? Liz and I are seriously downsizing into an RV. We did it before in the 80's with 2 kids, and loved every minute of it.
We will have 2 grand kids in the Amarillo area and two in central Illinois. No sense being stuck in Fort Worth with a house and pool to maintain.
Happy New Year,
Dennis

Hi again Dennis, Deb and I are currently looking for another RV. This time a Class C, we had a Class A Monaco, 40' for five years and lived in it for little over three years full time and traveled for a total of 5 years, we truly loved it. Gotta make sure Deb can drive just in case, lol. A little battle with Agent Orange exposure from the South East Asia days in '68 to '69, so says VA.
We will have to stay in touch here and meet up down the road. We think we will be ready again by the end of this summer for sure.
Happy New Year, You guys take care,
Sam

Hello SB ... thank you for the follow. Great story ... not too unlike my wife & I going on 55 years. We met in HS biology, went in and out of going steady, then went off to college in different directions. Then I went off to Navy/Marine flight training in Pensicola.

A shot in the dark phone call one lonely weekend sort of reconnected us. A HS football knee kept me from achieving my aviation dreams, but just as well I suppose ... I would have been right in the middle of the Viet Nam war.

You've witnessed a lot of change here at WA, and it just keeps getting better and better. I wish you the best on your rejuvenated WA journey.

Greetings from Paul Mindra here in Ontario, Canada.

Thank you for introducing yourselves and inviting me to be a part of your Network. Your gracious offer is accepted and returned in kind. Meaning, I'm following you back.

Welcome back to Wealthy Affiliates. I call it Wealthy Affiliate University and I am currently in my first year (Just joined).

Wow! What a beautiful life story that you have shared with us.

O.K. So I know who Deb is but unsure of sb4269. I'm guessing Avery. I like the websites that you have chosen and can imagine the directions that they will take. Nicely done.

I look forward to sharing and serving with you and your network moving forward.

Kindest regards,

Your new friend,

Paul.

P.S. I think I know who Ron and Toby are although not personally.

I have known Bob Proctor (Amway) since the early seventies. He's a Canadian and I used to date his niece as a teenager.

He encouraged me to get involved in Amway. Biggest mistake I made in my life was not doing so back then when it was just launching. Too late now because it cannot do today what it did for those back then.

Oh well, Guess what?
Wealthy Affiliate University.

Peace to you both and love to your poodles.

Look forward to hearing back from you.
