Hi James,

It is great to see you are sharing Blue with WA members throughout the world. Good stuff mate.

It is hard to resist great food. You have me thinking now about cooking up a baked prawn and cream in Eggplant dish. Forgot all about that one till I read your profile hehehe.

Good luck with your online business and adventures throughout WA.

Thank you for following me and I wish you the best in all aspects of life.

Cheers,

Brad

Thanks for following me, Miamibeach. I enjoyed your profile. I had a black lab named Raven, who was a certified therapy dog. We went to libraries, and kids with problems reading would read to her because she wouldn't laugh at them. The first little boy in my reading program was waaaay below his grade level in his reading skills. He loved reading to Raven, having her do tricks, and giving her treats when he was finished.

The last time I saw him, he was in 5th grade reading on an 8th grade level! I lost Raven to cancer in 2014. Still miss her terribly, even though I do have another dog now. There'll never be another Raven. She was one of a kind. When I lost her, I lost my buddy, my favorite hobby, and "my" kids at the library all at once.

My niche is ballroom dancing, but pet therapy is my passion, and I will be doing another niche website on it when I get my first one fleshed out. I'm still working on the certification course and am only on lesson 3 of Course 2, so I'll be busy "dancing" with my first website for awhile.

Hi Carol, is it not "strange" that people who had or have dogs really are ALIKE in a way? It really seams that way to me anyway!
Yes there is only ONE Raven or only one Blue...and we will miss them forever...not a day goes by that I dont miss Blue! But we have to move on...and even that I want another dog, HE / SHE has not found me jet...maybe soon! My daughter would also love to have a puppy, of course having no idea how much work is also involved in that. So I wait a year or so more...
Go for the niche that is your passion!!
Good LUCK and all the best Carol!

Yes, just as we have to move on after the death of a loved one, the same is true of our dear furkids. I wanted to rescue another dog (I rescued Raven when she was 6), but was being very selective because I needed/wanted a dog that would qualify for pet therapy.

I watched several black lab rescue sites and contacted several rescue agencies about various dogs that seemed to be possible candidates, but in the end finally adopted a "pointador" She is black with a white patch on her chest and 4 white feet. She is mostly lab in personality, but she points.

Unfortunately, she was a failed foster. I was fostering her to evaluate her as a companion dog for a young boy in my church who is autistic. During this time, the boy's father decided he wanted a German Shepherd, so Leia is my daughter now.

Unfortunately, she is very timid and anxious. She acts like she has been abused and is very frightened of anything new. I don't think she had been socialized much at all. I have had her in 3 classes at PetSmart, and the instructor told me she thinks that eventually Leia will be able to qualify as a therapy dog. But I have my doubts. I miss my hobby terribly, and may eventually get Leia a sister that will qualify. But I have my hands full now just being with her and helping her learn to trust. She has come a long, long ways, but still needs a lot of love and attention.

And my website does, too!

(some) people, (must be a rapidly diminishing number!) are put off by mistakes in English. To please readers of posts one should re-read one's writings and make the corrections......(friendly help).....
It is NOT...other then cars.....it IS ...other than cars.....Just one of so many ways Americans screw up the English language.....
eg. a large amount of people (number)
"of" as in "he needed of a car" (yuck!)
I should have done this as a private message, but I can't find how.

Everyday humility is definitely not an every day common thing; It's much easier to talk about than to live. I try every day as you but my pride keeps getting in the way, But I think you're right in that gratitude is; genuine, awe-filled, unassuming gratitude is key to humility. I think.

Good to meet you and to learn something about you.

I'm sorry you lost you dog.

Kind regards,

Carl

Thanks! Pride...yep that can be in the way sometimes...just remember; BE humble and KIND to others and they will be kind to you! It does not always work for me either, but TRYING is the key. Tom

Here's my goal; I try to be a perfect gentleman with everyone --- to treat them with dignity, honor, and respect. It's hardest if or when they act as mean and nasty scoundrels! As many do of course.

Exactly ! But what can we do...step to their level ? Then we are the same..something I AVOID as much as I can, but sadly I don't achieve. The world has changed so much that HONOR is basically non-existent. So lets keep on trying our very BEST. Thanks Carl.

Gruss Gott Tom, I am sure you have wonderful memories of blue.I know exactly what it is like to lose a 4 legged family member. I lost my Irish Terrier 2 years ago. He traveled to various states in Australia with us and loved to chase ducks and kangaroos. Wishing you every success. My mentor always said to me be humble it is so important in life. Kind regards

Welcome to premium! The training you get is absolutely worth the time and money. I have been doing this for over a year now and it is a true blessing to me and my family. We aren't rich yet by any means but we are close to quitting the 9 to 5 life and looking to do this full time.

Hello Kyle, here it is my 1st question. Some were in lesson 3 I believe there a link to the GoDaddy website. So I registered my 1st domain and build my website with them which is free for 30 days. NOW I am on building my 1st website with WA and it seems to me that GoDaddy was a bit easier for me! I am kinda lost at this point to go to the next step on my website with SiteRubix...but its probably just me! Any advise? Thanks!

Hey James! I wanted to start you off with a quick note that could SIGNIFICANTLY impact your success with Wealthy Affiliate. Read this entire message if you are serious about being successful in internet marketing (it's lengthy, but I'm not joking when I say that this advice could make or break your entire internet marketing career):

1) You'll need to work consistently and hard. There's going to be a lot to learn in the beginning and you may feel overwhelmed at a point, but keep pressing forward and you'll make it through. It happened to me and every other successful internet marketer at some point, and the only way to become successful in this industry is to push past that overload whenever you get there.

Do yourself a favor and commit to a number of hours that you can work each week right now. It doesn't have to be massive, but it should be more than 10 between evenings and weekends at least. Just remember the more you work each week, the faster you'll learn and draw closer to success.

After you've picked the number of hours you can work each week, commit to working that much for AT LEAST six months - a year would be better. You won't see results immediately in this industry, and being consistent is the key. Pick a number of hours you can work each week, then work those hours for at least six months. It's something you've probably never done in this industry, and this advice alone will make a HUGE difference in your chances at succeeding with internet marketing as long as you take it seriously and STICK WITH IT.

2) I recommend starting off with this training (which you can access with your free account): It just scratches the surface of the MASSIVE amount of helpful content in WA, but you'll get a good "feel" for the teaching style here and begin to see the power of all of the great things they're teaching here at Wealthy Affiliate.

3) DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE COMMUNITY. Two of the best places you can go to for help when you get stuck are the "Live Chat" and the "Classrooms" sections located on the panel to your left. You'll find direction and inspiration through the community here, which is one of the reasons I recommend WA so highly.

4) Finally, you don't ever have to upgrade to the premium account here at Wealthy Affiliate if you don't want to. You'll have limited access using your free account for as long as you wish. HOWEVER, if you're serious about internet and affiliate marketing then you should invest in the premium membership for AT LEAST one month. You could look back on it years from now and see it as a pivotal moment in your internet marketing career, but you never will if you don't at least give it a try.

Check it out for a few days though - you don't need to upgrade right now. Make sure it's a good fit for you, and if you upgrade within the first 7 days you'll receive your first month's membership at more than 50% off. I keep my membership active and recurring every month so I can be here for the people I refer like you, so realize that I'm putting my money where my mouth is here!

On top of that, if you upgrade to a premium membership at the discounted rate within the first 7 days I have a special bonus EXCLUSIVE to people that join WA through me and upgrade within the first week of creating their free account. This bonus will show you how to be twice as successful with WA or any other legitimate internet marketing program out there and gives you some very valuable video lessons (which I recorded for you personally, of course) to ensure you get off to the right step in your internet marketing business.

I keep a close watch on the list of people that upgrade from starter to premium, so I'll send the bonus your way within 24 hours. If you upgrade and don't receive it within that time frame for some reason, just post on my WA profile and let me know!

I don't offer that bonus so you'll spring for the membership and make me more money, I offer the bonus just in case you needed that tiny "push" to make sure you invest in this training because I know that you will use for the rest of your IM career and it could change your life. I've referred hundreds of people now and I have NEVER had anyone tell me they were dissatisfied.

Best of luck to you! You're about to embark on a journey that could change your life forever, so make sure you take it seriously, put in the time and effort, and expect great things in return!

You know where to find me,
Ian Pribyl

P.S. I know I've thrown A LOT of information your way in this message, but I wanted to give you one last thing. Here is a video tour of the members' area to help ensure you get the most out of your free membership as possible: http://youtu.be/NDmMcMtMB8c

Sorry for sending so much your way at once, I just want to set you up for success as much as I possibly can!
