You are doing it the right way. Some editors add an extra bit of code to the text. If it doesn't look right to you it is fine to remove it.
Ah, the foibles of WordPress.
Thanks, Craig! There are many things that we have to figure out on our own. This new Gutenberg thing comes loaded with both great features as well as some bummers. The spacing thing, the links in images (where it won't open in new tabs), the Grammarly not working inside the editor are some real bad ones (it's a personal opinion though). Anyway, wishing you a Happy New Year 2019!
I gave you the link to this video, Sukumar, did you miss it?

No, Marion. I just saw it. Thanks a lot. I love the customisation options in Gutenberg but I'm finding it less user-friendly in its present form. Maybe I need a little time to get used to it. Anyway, I have started using the classic editor plugin :) Even the Grammarly works there.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it's broken or it's just painfully slow. If you really need to check your spelling and grammar, try using a word processing app then copy and paste.

I have started using the classic editor, Marion. There's no issue with the Grammarly there. I'm finding Gutenberg difficult to love :)

The best way is to cancel your membership then signup again with the Black Friday Deal. (its usually extended for another week anyway)
It can be done internally. I would not advise cancelling because the original referrer may lose the signup if the rejoin for the BF deal is not done through the original affiliate ID. ~Jude
Point taken Jude.
But that's what I did three years ago and it only cost me $291 so thought I would pass on the tip anyway.
Enjoy your Friday.

Hey, that's pretty good. What if, like in my case, I'm already on a yearly subscription?
Will the BF offer apply to me as well?
Yes, you can extend your yearly membership with the BF pricing, let's say, you are paying in March, then you extend your year to March 2020, and you pay 299 for it during the BF
I didn't know that was possible for yearly memberships, like mine. Will there be a special optin for this feature, Loes? I usually pay in June.
I don't know exactly how this works, this was new last year, I know you have to pay now, and get a year extention in June
Timely question as many have been waiting for the official announcement about it.
Thanks for bringing this out bro.
Be safe!

Yes you certainly can. They will prorate the days left from your monthly fee and take the amount off the $299 when you get the deal the first time.
Once you are a Black Friday deal premium member, you are grandfathered for that price. Been paying a yearly membership at Black Friday price since 2016.🙂
