Hey everyone,

I am wondering if anyone like Jay from MagiStudios or anyone else knows of a firm that will do a site audit in terms of how SEO is done throughout, the des

I use SEMRush https://www.semrush.com/features/site-audit/

Sean

Hi Sean, wow, this is excellent. I just tried it and tried to put another site in but I have to subscribe. the 99.00 is pricey.

Do you know of any free ones?

Thanks very much.

Hi Monica,
Yes.... you can do basics there, but the premium services do cost.

Another good one is https://www.seoptimer.com/. That is mostly free.

Sean

Thank you Sean, I'll try it out today.

One more questions... Can we run site audit tests as often as we like.. Google will be fine with it?

Sure. Google will not have an issue with this and certainly will not penalise you for it. Good luck. Hope it helps. :-)
Sean

Thank you Sean! I appreciate you responding back.

Best Wishes!

My pleasure Monica :-)

WA Affiliate Program

Hey guys,
Who runs 10Beasts? I am pretty sure they're a WA member.

Hey Mike,

The owner isn't hosing the site here, I checked on whois dot com and the owner is hosting with:
dns1.registrar-servers dot com
dns2.registrar-servers dot com

I purposely disconnected the hosting server's names so they would not appear as links.

Checking the website, under "About" link (footer menu), and it is clearly stated as "Edward Eugen" is the owner. Google searching the fella's name and I see that there are "10+ Edward Eugene profiles on LinkedIn".

Hope this helps you.

They may not be hosting the site here anymore, but their website looks like a WA website with well over 100,000 dollars per year income.

I was hoping to find out how they're doing it :D

Mmmm, I hear ya'!

I know this is as ambiguous as it gets, but the question remains: Do you personally believe that one single article every.single.day is enough to succeed in the long term?
<

Wow! Steve is awesome! Do however many time allows.

Yeah he really is!! Very inspirational. But we shouldn't thknk that we can do the same.

Steve had some very special tricks up his sleeve that we just don't all have access to - but we can certainly succeed in our own ways!

If you have the time go for it. I do three a week for now

That's a great work. If I have that capacity I should have more than 350 posts now.

if you can handle it, hell yeah. you would grow SOO Fast! Steve posted 5 a day and hit 10.5 million visits to his site. The more you post the better.

Whereas I do believe that the more the merrier, Google seems to be penalising sites that just put up content "just for the sake of it" and prefers skyscraper content.

If you're interested in learning about the skyscraper technique, check out Backlinko. He shares some awesome stuff!

The articles do have to drive content and I really don't believe that just anyone can drive 10 million visitors to their site in 10 years... but if you're really good, perhaps one can get close!

Thanks for sharing :)

Yeah. Brian Dean is amazing. But finding low comp keywords still works. I believe it always will. For higher comp keywords, I would write what I call "hero articles" 2500-5000 (or more) words posts that explains everything under the sun for that subject.

To create one original article a day is huge task. If you could create one original article a week, it should be enough, I think.

Once per week? That seems a little low to me. That would only be 52 fresh articles per year... and some people are doing 200+ per year...

Thanks for the insight though!

Absolutely! Definitely a huge plus long term. It is all a matter of having an engaging, helpful and relevant content for your respective audience. You are the creator, go for it!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's subjective depending on your customer and targeting characteristics Mike!

I tend to agree as well. I do feel as though doing at least 5 per week is ideal, but not everyone can devote that much time I suppose :)

Or think and type that fast...:-)

Personally, I am okay with my quality suffering SLIGHTLY (about 5-10 percent) in favour of banging the articles out much more quickly, but that's just me.

No one should follow that mantra - it should always be quality over quantity, but I am willing to make a SLIGHT compromise :)

You are right--nobody will read anything that is still in Draft...I try my best to get it published, then go back several times and edit with improvements...a little wordsmithing, maybe better images, spacing, etc.

Hey everyone!

Hope you all are doing well.

When was your website's tipping point in the form of getting the results you personally wanted to see?

I would l

6 months $.35 (cents, not dollars--the decimal doesn't show up very well) today. not exactly a "tipping point" yet...

Ah yes, it also took me around 4 months to make my first $$$ (was around $55 or so).

Since then, I have only made about 65 more dollars (from May 2017 to today.)

Thanks for stopping in!

Hi Mike,

Great idea for a discussion!

I started here back in May 2016, with multiple sites. I quickly got sidetracked, burned out, and just about gave up 4 months in (despite having earned a few dollars already). But, I decided to persevere, because I truly believed I would eventually have success.

I worked harder than ever (focusing on ONE site) in early January 2017, but then several things happened in my life that took up all my energy for pretty much the rest of the year. Despite not working on my site for an embarrassing 9-10 months, I somehow started to get a lot of organic traffic to the articles I wrote earlier in the year. This inspired me a ton, and although I still don't have much time to devote to my website, I am working hard to make it a success.

Here are my stats to date:

- My site is 14 months old, and I am getting 3,300+ visitors/month
- I am making enough to cover my yearly membership several times over
- I am making money every day (thanks to Google AdSense!) and my monthly profits are only increasing
- I am not yet at the "tipping point" for me, but I hope to be there soon. :)

Hope this serves as inspiration for anyone on the fence about whether or not to continue. I was there once, and I am so glad I decided to stay!

Hi Ian,

That's great to hear! There was a period around November 2017 that I took a month off out of frustration but have been back since.

I feel your pains! But 3,300 visitors per month after 14 months and taking a huge amount of time off is impressive - your articles must be SEO masterpieces and the content must speak for itself!

It's also cool to know that you're covering your yearly membership costs with cash to spare. This is a very motivational and inspirational post which is exactly what I was hoping for!

Thanks.

Most of that traffic goes to only 2 different posts, and neither are any more "optimized" than the rest of mine. I know I was among the first to write posts targeting those keywords (there are lots of competitors now), and timing really is a huge ranking factor. I guess it's Google's way of saying "first come, first served" lol.

Some of my other articles are finally starting to get a lot more traffic too, so hopefully the traffic distribution will be a little more evened-out soon.

Hi Mike,

With my niche site that I started in April 2017 I now see some traffic coming from organic search that I have been waiting for.
It started getting organic search results around November 2017 and the line is just going up and up.

I earlier booked success by gaining social traffic and authority by the manufacturers that I wrote reviews for. They recognized my reviews and spread the word of my reviews on their social and web channels - it boosted my posts.

Another big example of social boosting was after I published an interview of someone big in my niche.

You can read more about those results in my monthly post for SWAG and GGG that I am in: As for earnings - other than the 10 USD for creating tutorials - I have yet to make a profit on my sites. I do however think that the lack of money has to do with how I did things wrongly on my sites. Blaming myself in other words.

Steven

Wow, awesome reply, this is fantastic! Thanks for chiming in Steven.
