Hey Guys
I feel so secure here at WA, I wouldn't dream of moving my sites! And you are so right about the support, they are honest and objective!
I cant even start to Imagine the kind of stuff you are having to get to grips with Joseph but I would like to join your social network site when it is up and running.
My transitional living center is in a different town than my home. I love them both and I "hate" leaving either one of them but I love returning to both.

Hello there Joseph, I have learned the basics of photoshop lately and if you want maybe I can help you with your logo. Don't worry, I won't charge anything. I'm just enjoying doing stuff in PS lately. :D
looking forward to learning what to do with the e mail addresses that I acquired this past weekend at the earth day festival! thanks for your help!
Hey Shelley
I'm presently writing an awesome eBook for a client about email campaigns.
Email me if you want directives.
I'll be glad to help, step by step.

Kasotty WA Member pull her up she has a training session on how to make a picture collage. It is training tutorial #9 in her 6 months at WA Blog listed on the right hand side of her page. I hope it does what you wish.
Hello Joseph, Drawing platforms like Illustrator may be good for something like that, it is part of the Adobe product line. I believe Adobe is now a monthly set up fee. Canva may be useful for where you use your image once you have it.
The link Loes suggested may be interesting; would like to check that out myself. Will check out your tutorial! Thank you in advance for the time you put into it.
can not help you on that one but I will be interested in what you find out could be very useful all the best Max
Hello Jozeph, I can't really be a guide of any sorts to your search but I can give you encouraging words, I always enjoy your images. It is always fun to see the creative side of people, enjoy yourself in your creations:)
I don't quite understand your question. You said you already have Illustrator. I believe Illustrator has the necessary tools to give a visual image various effects including 3D animated character effects. I've got Illustrator too, and I know it's got lots of features, but I just haven't tried them yet.

Joseph,
Do you have access to Adobe Illustrator?
This is the program I use to build most of my logo elements. I just rent the entire Creative Suite from Adobe. Minimal monthly payment, endless opportunities.
The more web design you do the more proficient you will become with all the tools. There are literally thousands of tutorials on youtube if you get stumped.
Hope that helps.

yup, I have all that, the complete master suite
I'm looking for guidance as to how to create this type of image?
thanks Charles, much appreciated

I have a site at Blue Host and have never had a problem. The site isn't complicated but Blue host seems to work
I really don't like taking my hosting somewhere else, I'm emotionally attached to WA.
However, though I didn't decide yet, I will by tonight or in the morn.
I did a lot of research, finally talked to one hosting company.
The guy spent over an hour talking to me on Skype, actually talked me into a lesser bundle for the next little while, until my site got flying.
He reassured me about a lot of stuff I wasn't sure of, so if I do jump out of the box, at least I know where to go.
Thanks for chiming in my Friend
Have a great day

I'd just make the switch. You already found a plugin that works. Why look for an alternative, and very possibly sub par plugin, just because it's not supported here.
As nice as it is to get hosting for free, I'm probably going to switch back to Host Gator myself. The support over there was much better, and I had less problems with my site.
I was going to join hostgator until I saw the negative reviews: https://webhostinggeeks.com/user-reviews/hostgator/
I've heard some of the negatives. I was with email for about 4 years and had no problems. Even when I left, it was only so I could use the comment system here.
I spent quite some time researching, it is something that has to be well examined
Thanks for chiming in
Much appreciated George

I've seen that KatieMac has given you a tip. However if you will be in need of other plugin/s ,in case of your current need, check ProfilePress https://wordpress.org/plugins/ppress/ and WPFront User Role Editor https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpfront-user-role-editor/
I am,always, testing a new plugins on my test site.To your success Jozeph...
An interesting question Joseph, I'm sorry that I can't help you as I don't use Wealthy Affiliate hosting as I don't know if WA hosting would be sufficient for my websites as they have some quite large files on! I will keep an eye on this post and see what answers you receive Joseph!
Jozeph I wondered if this would be any good for you I might be barking up the wrong tree .
https://wordpress.org/plugins/membership/
Sorry Joseph i don't know an alternative plugin but concerned over restrictions within WA regarding plugins. I recently got a refund from hostmonster (within their 30 day limit) and decided to go with WA instead. Afterall we are paying 47 US a month so it makes sense to use the free hosting. But it doesn't make sense with restricted plugins. I'm sure kyle and carson will look into this for us. Heck i have 40 domains to transfer to WA so i want reassurance too. Why 40 domains? I buy all those that sound similar to my current domains. It protects my brand name.
Im impressed how buying domains with WA includes free privacy. My inbox is saturated with spam daily due to all my domains AND i receive phone calls offering all kinds of services for my domains. I can't afford to pay $7 extra per domain for privacy especially with 40 domains.
Be careful folks with these spammers, they are very good at what they do. I've even been threatened by them.
Thanks George
There's very few limitations as far as meeting your needs here at WA. I've always been treated well , with care and with respect.
It just happens to be one of those things which is not supported for security reasons, and quite frankly the idea of moving my site doesn't thrill me at all. I Love it here.
I'll see by the end of the day from responses I get to my question, hopefully someone will pop in with a solution in my favor :)
Thanks Man
Much appreciated

Looking forward to your training, length should not be a problem, I am sure the content will be most valuable and worth bookmarking.
Go on, give us a clue as to the subject matter.
Hi Jozeph, seems like your questions have been answered! :-)
1/ No limit on maximum pages as far as I know only on minimum - have to have at least 4 pages otherwise you can't publish the tutorial.
2/ You most definitely can add more later, Steph and Loes are always adding to their training tutorials as they go along.
Thank you for asking a valuable and often asked question.
Hope you are well and keeping safe in your travels around the world.
Edu
I have a 9 page tutorial. As far as minimum pages go that is 4 pages, but no maximum page number.
Ed
Haha, great intro!
My A-Z dictionary is 27 pages, and yes you can add and change pages anytime.
Have a great day Joseph:)
I've seen tutorials over 4 pages long. I don't know the maximum length though. But I know the better the information, the better the response thus the better you get paid. I hope this helps at least a little.
Thanks Rae Anne.
I thought that maybe unlike courses, there would be a "cap" on max pages allowed for tutorials.
Have a Great and Blessed day :)
J*
I know the minimum pages is 4, but I have no knowledge of HOW many you can have. I've seen tutorials with 8, 9, and 10 pages. And yes, you can add to and update a tutorial. What I have done, though, is publish a 2nd one that refers to the first one for background on the new information and updates. Kind of depends on just how much volume the new updated content is.
Hey Marvin, so good to hear from you. How are you :)
I now that courses can be many pages however I wasn't sure about the tutorials.
Breaking a long tutorial into "segments" is also a great idea, thanks.
Also, I was thinking about you the other day. Are you still doing editing?
I'm on my 1rst edit for my novel (around 80,000 words), let me know if you'd be into doing a final edit :)
Blessings to you both my Friend

I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. Good to hear from you, too. And yes, I am still doing professional editing, and my workload is not all that heavy right now, so if you would like to discuss a working agreement, either PM me here, or email me at marvwilson2002@yahoo.com, okay?
I'd be interesting is seeing what a very interesting man and friend has written, and honored to help polish it up for publication. :-)

Hi Friends
Jozeph I am definitely in support of the idea of a Writers site and will respond to your request for ideas sometime later (off to a meeting now and may be away most of the day.)
Also gives me some time to ruminate over possible ways to go……
You have no doubt looked at other existing websites and this could be a useful exercise in gathering ideas.
You can definitely count me in!
Kind regards,
~Arthur
Looking forward to it Arthur, and yes I certainly have, though I find many of them kind of flat.
So my map also includes a social aspect, where writers ca connect with each other, chew the fat and so on :)
Really looking forward to your input Arthur
Thanks
Have a successful meeting

This fantastic idea is still with you? Great!!! It would, as Sheila says, be excellent with an entry contest, but also some other entry feature possibilities includung reference material from people or the challenge of writing for a special feature or blog.
Even perhaps a special blog roll on an ongoing story, Would that work? I'll put the question out...
Great input theresa
I'm actually installing the opt in as we speak.
I'm also toying with maximizing the social aspect. I really appreciate all the great ideas
Feel free to contact me :)

Thanks, J! Will do. I want to follow the progress of an idea so much akin to what I like......
Hey Rick
Interesting concept, I'm trying to think how that would fit in with a Writer's Guild/site?
Care to expand? :)
J*
Could be things like Kindle Spy or some of these guys that promise lots of money if you buy their program. As writers get into their craft online they're bombarded with opportunities. Or James Patterson or Jack Canfield. Are their programs legit?
There's definitely a niche for that, although personally I dislike writing about scams, i find it trashy.
However you gave me an Idea for maybe a section where members "writers' could blog how they've been scammed.Like jobs where they haven't been paid and so on. Kind of like " beware of these guys"
Hmmm, I'm noting all these ideas as I'm drawing a map. Good idea Rick, thanks man :)
As I am new to writing I am not sure what I need. Like Renee said a critique area that can help us develop as writers. Just a thought, but there are different types of writing and I don't know how much you would want to categorize or compartmentalize as to keep genres together. Good idea Joseph.
Marty
Great ideas Marty, I'm also thinking of a help or support area for budding writers.
Thanks man, really appreciate it
J*
Generally I like sites that allow me to create a portfolio, so I would suggest adding a writer's portfolio for each writer on your site :) another great feature to have in my opinion is to have writers list down what kind of projects / collaborations they are looking for.
Great idea by the way!
Separate section where all writers can write piece or paragraph to create book as team effort. Example: Someone start wth opening, and second person continue, than third person add characters , situations, etc, until the story is finished. It will be great fun, and lot's of great story
Hey Tatjana, sorry I'm slow at responding as I'm writing all theses ideas down.
That would be an awesome project.
I'll pm you later on, and get more ideas if you got time :)
Thanks for taking the time
J*
In the past, I've joined writing groups which include a critique area. I've critique groups extremely helpful, especially when just starting off.
That's a great idea Renee, feel free to explain a little more. What did you like or not like about it?
Thanks :)
J*
The critique groups I've joined have a similar setup as the comment and feedback sections at WA. They're typically give and take situations. What I like about critique groups is they'll catch flaws in a storyline or writing style that writers can overlook. Sometimes the writer might suspect something's off with a piece, but may let it slide or may not be sure exactly what's wrong. A critique group will often point areas out for improvement.
What I dislike is sometimes those who critique are not always so helpful. They may have their own idea of what the storyline should be and make suggestions to completely change the direction of a story (invent a new story), rather than offer suggestions which will improve upon what the writer already has. Some individuals may be clueless to what good writing is and make suggestions that make the writing style worse.
Still, I've learned an incredible amount by participating in writing groups... both critiquing and being critiqued.
Interesting Renee, and that's actually the route I'm taking. this is such an awesome post, I'm feeling a little less overwhelmed as far as drawing my map.
Thank you :))
