I just got this from Network Solutions:

=================

You are receiving this email because you have one or more domain names registered with Network Solutions.

Hi

You can transfer it here if you like and if dot com, dot net or dot org. You need log in current registrar and obtain the EPP authorization code.

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $14, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

I used to have the ability to easily add rows and columns. I can't find the insert table button in the menu. What's the best way?

Just for informational use for new/non-computer literate peeps. I use the plugin Lightweight Grid Columns by Tom Usborne. Really easy to use for newbies who don't know a lot about computer lingo. after install, on your post/page menu at the top, there will be a small icon at the very end to add columns. Add what amount of space to use and that's it. Amazing...it took me 3 days to find the right one.

I have the Tiny MCE advanced plugin on my test website, I create tables there, and copy the HTML code from the text tab to my website.

The advantage of working on a test website is:

It saves you a plugin;)
You can play around whatever you like
You don't mess up your website

Success

Thanks. Loes. That's an excellent workaround!

That makes perfect sense Loes!

Thanks

Tony

Hey Hal,

Perhaps you deleted or deactivated your tables plugin... maybe?

I would be lost without the ability to add tables with rows and columns.

One thing to keep in mind. You may notice that the outlines of the tables you insert may show up on the finished pages.

You may have to ask others how to eliminate the outlines.

Thanks, I found it again, but yes... due enough, there are border lines I can't get rid of.

If you still have the border lines in your tables, you will likely have to edit the code in your themes.

I searched through Google to learn the steps, but I don't remember the link to the steps. It is tricky, and one has to be very careful when working with the coding in the themes, as you probably know.

I suggest sending a note to Marion Black here at WA. She is quite savvy when it comes to working with the coding in some themes.

I use the WP Edit Plugin by Josh Lobe. It has the feature that adds the table button in your menu.

looking for a good divi tutorial or introduction to divi web building

Other than Teddy Bear's vids, the best are:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuasRuWliU48RwnKXf9GesA
and:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaRLBpsQIuusREXx_xK56Kw

These are the best I've found and should keep ya' pretty busy.

Elegant's support may be a little slow but are absolutely stellar with solutions. Sometimes ya' need to just let them know that you're a total noob with Divi, but they are awesome!!!

Nothing compares with Divi, nothing!

YouTube has some good tutorials for using the Divi theme for creating a website from start to finish. Make sure you view a current 2018 tutorial.

Elegant Themes' team has their own training on Divi.. if you are subscribed to their newsletter you'll get in emails. For quick and stylish page Layout I load one of their Pre-made layout and modify to my requirement (there are a lot of layout themes available to Divi users) , this saves a lot of time doing from scratch.

Hey Hal,

Chris Scott swears by Divi and he has created some very helpful training: Hope you find this helpful.

Perfect... Thanks, Trish!
