Which website themes work best for what I need
Hello, I'm wanting to build a website that people can purchase my coaching programs and go t

Looks like you have a nice big idea here. We do wish you much success..

Thank you, I appreciate your support!

You may try platforms like LifterLMS

https://wordpress.org/plugins/lifterlms/

I test it first before buying in, because that can be expensive.

You want to make sure they are responsive, extremely light, fast, well coded, SEO optimised, flexible, adaptable and customisable

You may try GeneratePress or Premium where you can extend the theme and can have many layout templates.

https://generateblocks.com/
https://generateblocks.com/pro/

Kadence WP with Kadence blocks

https://www.kadencewp.com/
https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/pro/

Blocksy

You can also review below resource about other options Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for all the good info!

You're very welcome.

Hello all, is everyone else having problems with the server today?

it could be that the domain is not available. Most likely though it is a support issue. Have you tried emailing them?

Someone is hacking into my website that I have hosted here at WA. I am very concerned that they are going into my posts and and pages and able to put a link back to them to sel

Personally I am losing faith in WA hosting, so many unresolved problems. This is the first I have heard or hacking but, I have major issues with simple things that are little more than "Drag and Drop" with other hosting.

Uploading themes, plugins and images is a pain in the rear, routine options on other hosts.

Site support says use FTP but, with images this still requires another step. They have to be imported into the site with a "upload from server" plugin and this throws errors.

Yes, frustration rules the day. Rant off.

Hello, I am sorry to hear this since I have been very happy with WA but I am curious to see this resolved. Thank you for your input!

You're definitely not alone, Bill!!!

Its just the hosting I am having problems with, everything else is great. I think they are trying to upgrade too fast, do it step by step and get the kinks out as they go would be better.

Boy would I love to know the bottom line on this one!!!

Me too, site support and I have been communicating back and forth and they are still working on it.

Sure do appreciate ya' sharing this with us Alisa!

I am very interested in finding out if this is coming from something I have missed on my end, or if this is something our hosting organization would need more preventative measures. I love this community, I need the peace of knowing it has my back:)

Have you installed the free version of Wordfence yet? https://www.wordfence.com/
My brother in law works for a major corporation in their network security area and he said that this is the program (free version) they use first and foremost to secure their sites.

I've used it for quite a while and never had a problem. Might want to give it a try, Alisa! Best wishes my friend,

Randy

Thank you Randy, I really appreciate the help. I have had a business website hosted by another company for years never experiencing this problem, and after one year I have this at WA with both of my websites hosted here. It's dicerning to me. Thank you again:)

You bet, best wishes my friend!

Wonderful question and answer! Tks. shary

lHave you updated your websites to the latest version of WordPress? Are all of the plugins and themes up to date.

Yes they are, thank you for inquiring :)

better get a support ticket

I am, thank you!

When links are placed on your posts, you do need tech support!

I was able to delete them but it is frustrating that people are able to do that here! Thank you for your response:)

Do you have new users on your site perhaps?

No I do not. I have jusy discovered this and i do not have any one else who has my info or use of laptop

Good:) When your WP settings are not correct, anyone can register to your website

I know I will sound very simple here but I only have myself as the administer is there more I should be doing?

You could check your settings:)

I have gone through and done all this when started my websites. I always enjoy Marion :) I know I have more to learn but I have contacted site support to help me resolve this issue. I will let you know the outcome, Thank YOU!

Thanks, I hope they can sort thing out for you quick:)

Are you sure its not back links that you can find in your comments? if yes... simply delete them .. .I would delete the whole comment... Be sure that you comments are set for your approval and not automatically posted by wordpress

Thank you for your response:)

No they are not backlinks, someone has strategically placed links in between wording. Thank you for inquiring!
