Hi, my name is Marty. I am happily married for 35 years. We have 4 grown kids, who have completed college and are out in the working world. I ran an auto transport for 30 years and am retired for 5 years. I am now a multi-instrumentalist musician and songwriter.

My passion is music and I mostly play in the country, blues to jazz genres. Although I played fiddle and harmonica in a church worship band I have gone back to the church band that I played with for two years. I now play electric guitar and harmonica in this church worship band.
I have a website where I can help beginners. I know some things that may be able to help people begin to play guitar, harmonica, and fiddle without "selling the farm" to do it. Even when busy schedules make it hard to find practice time.

When I retired from trucking I hadn't used a computer , but I knew if I wanted to do some things in music I had to learn.

I bought a mac book pro, went to the library and took a class that helped me learn to use Email. I also went to the local guitar shop which gave lessons on GarageBand and learned some basics on recording music.

I've been interested in a home computer business for some time. With all the come-ons and noise wanting attention, it took some time. Sooo glad to find WA. I've got a long way to go but looking back I've come aways already.

Cheers,

Marty

Money Goals
I would like to 6 t0 10K a month as my 1st goal.I will be happy if I can make 50k/mo.and 1/2 a mil a yr.My goals are not really dollars and cents as much as financial freedom and freedom to do what I love to do and be able to have plenty to help and inspire others.Since I have other irons in the fire that need attention I could see myself giving 4 hrs./day.Of course this is situational as demands on my time are met by church and family.

So awesome Martin, I know from experience that goals are what lead us to success. Work relentlessly in pursuit of these goals and they CAN and WILL happen.

In fact, wipe failure out of your mind right now. It simply won't happen. You have too much help, support and an entire community of help behind you to ever let that happen :)

If you need anything going forward, just let me known and I will be happy to give you a hand.

I love your "financial freedom" goal. Although I didn't state that in my goal, being able to do what I want, when I want and with whom I want is my ultimate goal too.

Marty, just visited your websites...love the green - my favourite colour! Very good content too. I could not find a place to leave a comment, so say it here...the encouragement you give on your second site is balm to the ears. Too many nay-sayers in this world.

Thank you Buddle, for checking on my web sites. I wondered why I wasn't getting comments and I am not sure where the comment feature went.
I have been adding content and did not notice the comment feature wasn't available. It used to not show up for me but was visible for the public so I didn't worry about it.
Since comments are what I need I will look into it.
I will check my settings and the si capita plug in for starters.
