When I create a blog/article for my site, I make sure I put it in the title, the mega title and within the first paragraph or two.
But I also add the keyword in my title
It sounds like keyword stuffing to me David https://marionblackonline.com/looking-for-answers-not-questions/
Everyone agrees that keywords added to the Alt. image tag is not a good idea. Try adding LSI keywords How to use LSI Keywords
Keyword stuffing is when you use the same keyword over and over again. It applies to both images and content.
Image titles and image title attributes are intended to help people understand why you used a certain image.
The image alternative text and the filename/URL are the main places to use keywords that also relate to your content.
Don't use the same keyword for each image. Use keywords that both describe the image and inform users about the content of the article. ~Jude
Here is a link Dave to get an idea.
You should not use keywords in alt if they are unrelated to the image you are using. And I wouldn't stuff too many of the same keywords in all images.

Do keywords on images count toward keyword stuffing?

I’ve been noticing in my short time here that some plug ins appear to create problems for people. I think that may have even been one of my issues with Amazon links. Alth
I would avoid ANY that have not been updated in 3+ months as well as ones that have not been tested with the current version of WP. Yesterday I posted about setting up a free sandbox site via SiteRubix. This would be the place to check plugins and their functionality and compatibility prior to messing up the site that you are building to earn money. :-)
Good point Bob. FYI....every time you mention sandbox, I think back to my childhood when our cats use to think the sandbox was a liter box. LOL
Hey Bob, that's a pretty nifty idea with SiteRubix !
I have had no issue jet...but pretty sure I can avoid that particular by doing the rubix site first!
Thanks!
Tom
The Amazon Link Builder could not allow me to log into my site from every device.

We have deactivated "amazon-associates-link-builder" plugin since we were receiving an error as below:

I don't like plugins that when installed, will ask you to install more plugins, that if you do not follow their asking, the original plugin won't work properly. Crazy.

What plug ins would you recommend to avoid?

Hi Everyone,
I have done several searches on this but still don’t see the answer to my question on this for formatting of my website. It may be my particular temp
I have the same problem since I changed my theme...so I will change it again! Since it seems like this theme does NOT want me to change the header...my old one did! Oh well, good thing its a new site.
Hope this helps
If you go to his site, you will notice that the breaking news headline is gone and he is using the same theme.
So he found a solution. Either here, maybe in the discussion thread below, or somewhere else, and applied it.
So no need for him to change his theme.
If you cannot remove that on the customization you better change your theme if you do not like it. It may be a built-in feature that can not be customized.
This is a good question and you have been given some good advice.I wish you all the best in resolving your issue.
Have a good, productive, and happy day!
Anita
I used Internet Explorer to retrieve your home page. Then pressed F12 to get the source for the page and looked for "breaking". I found a reference to "kopa-ticker". So a google search showed that there is a WP plugin called "Kopa Framework plugin". This may be a 'complete hit' or a 'compete miss', if you are using this plugin, it MAY be responsible.
Another WA member had a discussion where that person wanted to add tickets: How to add a ticker on the ad mag-lite theme? It may be helpful because you may want to add tickets.
Also look at that discussion.
Someone mentioned looking in Theme Options > General > Header Headline
Hope this helps in pointing you in the right direction.
Hi David
Copy and paste the following (within the dashed lines) into your custom CSS.
Dashboard=>Appearance=>cusom CSS
-------------------------------------------
.kopa-header-top {
display: none;
}
-------------------------------------------
David
That should work. it should remove the whole dark grey header.
If it doesn't work, try this variant:
-------------------------------------------
.kopa-header-top {
display: none
!important;
}
-------------------------------------------
You can also adjust what you are removing, by replacing
.kopa-header-top
with
.header-top-left
or
.kopa-ticker
(remember to include the dot in the start)
As Alan mentioned below, first try the theme forum. It should be a feature that you can disable in Customizer. If not, you need to isolate it using developer tools and then add CSS. For example, in my sites where I don't want the page title to appear, I add .entry-title { display: none; } and the title is removed. Best of luck! :-)
It does sound like a theme issue, unless you've installed a plugin and it's upsetting your theme.
