Check your Amazon links!

Just a warning for anyone who has set up Amazon affiliate links in the past weeks. I am not sure if this is related to their busy holiday season or what is going on, but I have found mine to inconsistently either work or not work!

I have used the same method of adding Amazon links throughout the past several weeks since I have joined. The links I added on December 2nd are working fine. But ones I added late November are not and ones I tried adding today are not.

The links I added today for Text Only were working for me but Text/Image and Image were not. I'm not certain if it is partly my website template for sure or if it is on Amazon's side. But it wouldn't hurt to check your links to be sure they are working for you, especially if you added any in the past several weeks.

Happy to read this, I had been struggling with Text/Image links during.... too long. Same issue. As from December they are all working fine.

The one thing that bugs me is I don't like RED links. I prefer BLUE ones. So, I have to make the text blue BEFORE I link it.

It's a real pain! Too bad there isn't a global setting for link colors.

Good morning! I have to agree with the majority here, that the problem seems to be on your end, since Amazon can not afford any glitches on their end...but I could be wrong...

This problem could be caused by a plugin installed on your website.

All my Amazon links are working fine.

Sometimes a bad copy/paste is the culprit. Switch from "Visual" to "Text" and check the HTML code for accuracy.

That has helped me to fix a few of mine that went south.

Link checking should be a weekly endeavor. That includes affiliate links, links to other resources, and images as well.

Thank you David. I think they're gift weary!
