My domain expired and I just did the redemption. How do I restore the website?
Thanks
Hi, may be you'd like submit ticket to site support if don't have a back up
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
Go to https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/build
and choose a domain you own provided it is at or pointed to WA.
If more than 60 days, support may not have a copy back up.(reading Chrytophers notes)
It is always advisable to back up websites regularly, you can use AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins.

Is this the domain name that expired in September, that you were charged $250 for as it entered the Redemption period? If it expired more than 60 days ago, then SiteSupport might not have the backup still. You will need to send them a message to find out.
Sorry to hear that you ended up paying for that, just make sure that Auto-Renewal is turned on to prevent this from happening in the future.
Yes, only SiteSupport can restore your website, if it went offline less than 60 days ago. You can find SiteSupport by using the Help menu at the top of this page, or via the link Abie & AJ sent to you.

Hi,
I have set up xin.zhang@pscmenergy.com and linked it to my gmail as I have done for other emails. If I send an email from gmail they receive it. If someone sends an emai
there were two options in the domain specific email set up, one was for webmail and one was for email forward
it sounds like you set up a webmail so that is why when they email your domain email it goes to webmail
have you clicked on the tab that says new email forward?
create an email in there and you can test it yourself to see if it goes to your gmail, it should

I know how to change it and hide it but I would like to make it different on several posts. Is this possible?
Thanks,

Hi, Xin.
Paul mindra here from Ontario, Canada.
I saw your question 'as a question' on my email. I am not completely sure of the understanding of your question.
Could you elaborate a little further?
Paul.
I don't think it's possible, I've tried it but didn't see any option to do that. I always wanted to do that.
If ever you have a solution to it, please do share it with me. Thx
Hey Xin,

Hi,
I would like to set up a subfolder but I am not sure how to proceed? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Xin
Use FTP. Select "httpdocs", which is WA's version of the public.html folder.
Right click, a window will appear 'Create New Directory and give it a name'.
This will create an add-on folder to your existing domain. You can upload individual files to it, or even an entire website, then see it by visiting:
e.g. http :// yourdomain. com/new-name
See my SCREENSHOT
Not sure why you want a subfolder Xin ... or do you mean a subdomain?
If you want a subfolder created you will need to access your website via FTP and create your folder from there. Accessing Your Website via FTP How to use FTP to upload themes and plugins the easy way However, if you wish to create a subdomain, you can follow this tutorial: Subdomain on Your Own Dot Com Website If you have cPanel access to your website then you can follow this tutorial:

Hi,
I actually meant a subdirectory. If I understand it correctly a subdomain is something like blog.domainname.com whereas a subdirectory is like domainname.com/blog. From evrything I have read from googling the subdirectory is much easier to manage than a subdomain and I think it will work for me. Hopefully, I am making some kind of sense.
Thanks,
Xin
Having not understood your question Xin, I included explanations for both. Adding a blog to your domain is NOT adding a sub-directory.
Here's how to add a blog to your site like you've shown in your comment above: https://youtu.be/X60SDe7TIHg
If it's a Post, I would use the category hierarchy in the right sidebar to assign the new Post to the one you want it to be under. You can do the same with Pages.
Hope I'm on the right track. Ted
Marion helped me with this video. I'm sure it will help you, also Subdomain on Your Own Dot Com Website sorry, that for subdomain. I'll look around for you
