I noticed that every month my monthly subs are being requested much earlier...:(
Mine is between the 1st and the 4th no problem but looking forward to Black Friday annual discount so I pay less yearly hope they come out with that.
Mine come out the first of the month each month - I haven;t seen them come earlier as yet?
That might be what it is as mine should fall on 19th, but was requested today - with the red notification.

If I delete a website added to a domain, can i re-use the domain for a totally new website?
Think of the domain name as a physical address of a building. The website is similar to the physical building.
The physical address is where people can visit the building or business at the building. Or letters can be sent to this physical address of the business.
As such, the domain is the online version of the physical address. That is why it is called an online address or web address.
The building is the website which is built at the address. The building can be torn down and a new building built at the address. The online version of the building is your website. You can always remove the website and build a new one.
I wrote a detailed explanation of the above in a blog post - https://passiveonlinerevenue.com/what-is-an-online-business/. Check it out. Especially read the section - An Online Business Is Similar to a Brick and Mortar Business.
Hope this helps? :)
No I don't believe you can. I wanted to but couldn't.
I ended up making a new website and copying and pasting articles from old site to new site.
Also lost all website comments
Daisy
Hey Daisy,
You didn't have to copy and paste your content... nor did you have to lose your comments. :-( Move Post or Page From One Website to Another Please, always ask for help here first before assuming that you cannot do anything.
And... yes you can delete the entire structure of a domain and rebuild it. If you have cPanel access (not here at WA, of course), you could even remove WordPress and install another CMS (content management system).
Domain registration is like a license plate of a vehicle. You CAN more them from one to another.
I did get help here lol
Obviously not the correct help
Damn.
Thanks for giving the correct process
Much appreciated
Daisy
Sorry to learn of this Daisy. Next time, make sure you check for tutorials here... and even Google search your question if you think you SHOULD be able to something, because chances are you can.
Here's another tutorial for you: Using Search to Find What You Want
Glad I asked first then and thanks Daisy your answer and link is something else I am thinking of as well :)
Thank you for asking this question.
I have not had to do this but it is really good to know.
All the best on your new website. YAY
Here's to making it happen
Jennifer
Yes absolutely. If you delete the website, the domain and web space will be ready for a fresh install!
I was wondering if this would work by backing up my site and reinstall whether the site would be then unleased with the "KRAKEN" lol? Cheers Rob
Thanks Carson - phew! thought I had thrown away money, you response has made me feel better :)
As far as I know a domain and website are two different things which work together. If you delete a website you still have the domain for as long as subscription lasts for. You can build a new website and link any domain to it you choose. Even link multiple domains to one website.

I had a suspicious spike in my Google Analytics last night that went to 169 in less than two minutes.
Upon further investigation, in audience and providers I found that
I've never heard of this before. This is very worrisome. I am sorry that this happened to you and I hope that this can be resolved soon!
Thank you for sharing this and I look forward to hearing how you were able to resolve this.

Hi Snazzy, I did a search on "http://Amazon.inc.com in Ashburn", which is an individual store in Virginia. I did find them to be individual stores. I think it is a cause of concern and would suggest you following up as per suggested.
All the best,
Michael
Thanks Michael, I think I found an article that gave me the solution. I had to go and manually add them into my Google Analytics filter. I am still a little annoyed that Google does not catch this and block them. Unfortunately they are scam bots and we need to be more aware. I still need to research these Ashburn cloud folks to understand a little more, and then I will write a blog to warn others.
Yes PLEASE do Ilaisaane... and feel free to include any and all the IP addresses used. My intention for wanting their IP address is to block them from EVER website I tend.
Thank YOU for sharing this with the community so that we will all be more careful going forward.
Thanks Juan, looks like they are scam bots and I was able to filter them from my Google Analytics, but not halt them totally, I will keep researching 😃
Will do Alfred, I still haven't from them since my last query so tried researching it myself. I did find out they are scam bots, and managed to filter them from my analytics reports but unable to stop their crawling my posts. Will keep digging.
Have you told site support about this problem Snazzy, maybe they can help, I don't know much about site security but I think they should know.
Russ
Site support still hasn't dealt with my previous query, so I found a way to filter them from Google Analytics, however will ask Site about stopping them from crawling my pages.
Hi, Wow I am sorry to hear that this happened. I am unsure about this sort of thing. Except there is a spam thing in Google Analytics where you get a Search Engine hit with an Amazon keyword.
It is a fake hit. But I have never heard of this before. I would certainly do some research to see about site security. I need to do the same thing.
Much success!
Sounds suspicious. Do you see IP addresses in analytics? I’ll do some research... my traffic is weird too, I’m getting about 70 views a day on my second day being indexed. Google shows my best page was page 91. Either it’s being flaky as heck, or something weird... my domain was bought Thursday and I had my first content on Friday night/Saturday... just seems odd to me. I set up analytics on Sunday, and Monday I had 70 views. Maybe it’s just all me... lol
Thank you for replying, just go to your menu and click audience and behaviours to see what the IP providers are, to give you some peace of mind. If it is any Amazon cloud provider then you have same issue as well.

Not sure if this is an issue and whether I should take it seriously, but while I was checking up on my site health and google page rankings I noticed that other sites were usin
Thank you SnazzyIT, I slept in .but I will be chasing this up until it stops,, Sick of people taking advantage, SICK OF IT. I don't know much of computers and the internet but if the way to success is done by misconception the then all I c\an say is SAD.. If the people know how to backdoor success then surely they know how to front door success,, So They must just be lazy inconsiderate people. who care less for HONESTY.. I better stop before I boil over an say what is not polite. Wish you all the best. Peter S
Hello SnazzyIT,, Yes I have found the same problem, upon a google search of my website,, I think it is a total breach of what the web is about, and I will be lookin for answers.. Plus when I looked in the site I noticed stuff I just DO NOT WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH.
Wishing you the best, Peter S
Absolutely, I checked one of them and now my phone keeps giving off notifications and asking me if I am trying to sign in to chrome on a new PC...which is quite suspicious...I am guessing that's their intention. However, all will be revealed when I ask Site Support.
wow I still learning and don't know what i'm doing yet, the things i'm hearing even among us make me nervous and worry.
It's natural to feel a little overwhelmed at first, Jenny. Keep learning and as you gain more knowledge and control over your online business, you will feel less nervous. There is nothing to worry about. We all start out not knowing what we were doing. You don't have to know everything to make progress. No one knows everything. You'll be fine. ~Jude
Don't worry Jenny, its something that happens to the best of us, and it is in a way a compliment that people want to steal stuff. However, it is still a nuisance to deal with. Sorry if this is making you feel nervous. Just as Jude said below, you just continue in the training and you should be fine :)
Hi Snazzy, this looks like nasty stuff. Please do take it seriously this kind of stuff has to be stopped. Seems like someone is stealing your hard work. It is always better to be safe than sorry. I would most definitely submit a site support ticket or contact Kyle about this issue.
All the best,
Michael
Happened to me too... I entered my mail to receive... an ebook ... with the content of my website...
It happens even among us, this is why members don't publish their website anymore. Content Thieves, Plagiarizers and Crooks! Honestly, I am searching a post I read some time ago which said "take action", meaning report this to Google. They will do the necessary. (I can't find that post right now, sorry).
So don't worry too much but do take your action seriously.
Kindly,
Anne
Thank YOU for this Anne.
Heck, I have had wikipedia sites literally copy and paste my content and then rank higher than my hobby site for MY content. Sheeesh!
Phewww, this is why I say, how important this community is. And it is our responsibility to care for it and to encourage everyone to work within the ethic. Imagine this happens and you are facing it alone. I would have stopped, if Kyle and others hadn't sustained me.
Could you do something against Wikipedia?
I blasted my whining out there on social media... I created a post on Google not playing fair... and the last time I checked (over 6 months ago now), the guilty Wiki sites were removed... but... that still doesn't stop Wiki sites stealing content and then ranking for it. That part I do NOT understand.
I would put in a Site Support Ticket and ask them to take a look to see if this is a security issue or not. Attach the above image.
I see many of these types of links lately. Not sure what it is. The one that says PDF makes me think someone may have copied your webpage and turned it into a PDF,
Let us know what Site Support says about it.
~Jude
Thank you Jude, I have contacted site support about another issue today and still no response but will see if they can answer this also.
Found this about fungi.lv at http://fungi.lv.w3bin.com/ "Located in Riga, Latvia. . . . This domain is ranked number 7914465 in the world. It seems Fungi.lv has about 33 daily visitors. Taking into account all these variables, we estimate the value of this website at: $70 USD." I wonder if it is a play on meaning since fungi often obtain nutrition from other living organisms as parasites. I don't get any of the sites in your screen shot when I perform a similar search, could be your particular Google bubble.

I thought our sub fees are due around the same time we joined, each month. I joined Dec 19, last year, and the previous subs were requested a day out either side of the 19th. N
That doesn't sound right to me. I'd take this up with Site Support. They should fix this for you.
I've checked mine, and it is the same day every month. It's never missed a beat. You can view your payment history here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home/my_profile scroll down to Subscription Settings then click on the Billing Details.
Let me know how you get on with Site Support.
Thank you Paul for responding. I did send this to support, and it came here. They have changed the setting which makes it compulsory to choose a classroom. Should I just private message them instead?

Does it change to earlier then later? If so then it could be because of weekends, or when you first paid.
yes gets earlier each month. Do they go by our own time zones or Canada/US?
Theirs I believe.
