Hi, I was wondering if there are people out here making $ with clickbank?
I was with clickbank before and made money but stopped because they took $211.38 off of my account without telling me. I had to agree with the new rules as my whole website was with clickbank products, or it would become useless. Read the rules before you signup. With CJ (commision junction) they can delete your account (and take the money off) if you don't log in for more than 30 days. Clickbank probably have something similar. Normally it won't be a problem but you better be prepared what they can do.
I'd been into clickbank before 4 years ago. You'd probably have to sell digital products like ebooks, software and even scamming deals. Like almost all scammers sign-up with clickbank, easy for them to deliver their products and get their money as well. You can try if you like too so that you will have an idea what's inside.
Hi there,
I have a Clickbank account, but must I haven't taken full advantage of it yet. I have promoted a few products, however, not had much success with it so far. Mind you, my main efforts have always been on promoting WA
Cheers
Karina
Hi Jochem, I am not, but I actually joined Clickbank before I landed here, last night I verified my account and signed in for the first time, this is 4 months after I joined LOL.
The reason for this is that I have been getting a lot of Emails lately from Clickbank, they are saying things like they are becoming more open and changing things there, so I'm off to view some of their video's etc.
All that I know is that they promote only digital products, but usually with a good commission %, they also say that their products have a good conversion rate, well they wouldn't say otherwise LOL.
I'm going to be in and out of there today, I'll let you know if I think it's worth you taking a look, I will keep popping back here to your discussion, as I am interested to see what comments appear.
I'll get back to you later.
Archan,
This sounds very interesting. Please remember me and keep me posted. Thank you.

OK will leave some comments on here when I find something of relevance, but it's free to join and the sign up doesn't take long.
So far I have watched some videos, basic stuff like picking a niche etc, there's a mix of scammy stuff and decent products, the trouble is where to start as there is tons of products to promote, then there is the Hoplinks, I think these are just your affiliate links, maybe Arnel could tell us more. Its like being in a warehouse, what do you go for, it could take days to sift through it all to find something.
There is so much stuff, but in the end you still have to get traffic, so it's down to finding that magic niche that's new or hasn't been battered, then you have to go through all the basics again with the new product, so there is no easy solution unfortunately.
There doesn't seem to be an enthusiastic response here, so maybe that says it all, why not sign up and see what you think.
I am going back to the drawing board.

I am looking for a way to select a page and enable comments for that particular page. I don't want every page to have this function.
Yes - go to pages, select quick edit and uncheck 'Allow Coments' and save or update - this stops people from commenting - the opposite appllies (make sure the page is checked)
is there a way to select pages you want people you want to comment on

I heard Kyle advises something about using H2 instead of H1. Does anybody know why? I am very curious about this.
I get ERROR messages in BING for duplicate tags because BING looks at the post/page title as H1. Whereas Google looks at the "title" as <meta name>
And having no H1 creates an error message in Google
I use for the first headline of my page/post (that's the Keyword)
I am not worried about Bing's error messages. I have 9 of 16 posts on page1 and 2 there.

when you make a new page. Is the name you give to your page an H1?
I've read that people use H1 for the first heading but kyle says use H2, I think Kyle does keep himself up to date, well with all of it, as it's in his interest to give everyone the best information, otherwise it wouldn't be so good here if he told us whatever.
Ok when I check my SEO with Yoast it says the keyword should be in the article header but that seems unlikely to me because you want to keep it short right? I mean article headings should not be keywords right?
If you can "naturally" fit your keyword/phrase into your page title and permalink, you'll be much better off for it. but its not too crucial as you will have plenty of room for your keyword/phrase in the body of your content. As long as your title is captivating, you should be alright.
