Damn, literally just started and opened a drop box and backed up my website information to it, as well as important spreadsheets. Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely change up my PW. All the best!
Thank you for the warning. I haven't used Dropbox in a while but I still need to check on it.
Thanks, Ade. I use Dropbox so we can all access certain docs. Everything okay in my account so far.
Thanks for sharing. I never use online storage for anything because I don't trust cyberspace. ~Marion

Has anyone heard of Rapid Cash Creation?
The owner of this website contacted me to promote her business on my website and I really need to know if anyone here has heard of
They are pretty new, so I was told. They are still putting their stuff together. I just wanted to see if they're who they say they are and not hiding anything, you know what I mean? We'll see how it goes.
Thanks John!
I just goggled it found the website and one review the product seems to be an affiliate marketing training course its not going to be released until the 25 Sept
Can not find anything bad about it or any other info
Maybe wait till it come out and see what people are saying or ask her if you can preview the product before you it it on your site
Here is the page to take a look at, it does not really give you much info just a sales letter and a timer to launch
Hope this helps

Thanks for your help, Barry! That's the exact information she provided in her email to me and I saw the same thing on her website.
I was just interested in knowing if there is anything contrary out there that I may be missing. You just never know.
Thank you.
Did a little Google research. I'd say no. You have to get used to looking every single thing up. Yes, it's a pain, but there's too much garbage out there. UGH
I looked up the website but you know how some people reinvent themselves under a new name after their errant ways may have been found out.
Thanks!
Looking up some background on the creator all that I could find were some infomercial ads that looked pretty questionable from the past. I would stay away personally.

I am done using drop box to store files and database for my website. It just didn't work for me. Even submitting a support ticket here didn't solve the problem.

Thank you Wayne. Is Copy your preference? What's the difference between Copy and Google Drive, since they both give 15GB free storage.
I have been using Dropbox for many years now without any issues and started using COPY as a second backup plan.
I have never made use of Google Drive, so I can't tell you the differences; Dropbox and copy are just my two choices for backups.
I use Dropbox without issues, Ade. I also have a paid backup, Carbonite, installed on this laptop. My husband, however, uses Google Drive and loves it. I just asked him about it and he sings its praises. Why don't you give it a try for a few documents and see how you like it? He said the only thing about it he doesn't like is that it sometimes takes a long time to upload to the cloud.
Hi - I have backups scheduled to a drop box account - I don't have any issues with it - what problems are you having?
For normal day to day backups, document storage, lists etc - I use Google Drive - and have no issues with it at all.
All the best, Mark
I had scheduled backup to dropbox as well until it stopped working. I have since resorted to manual backup on my laptop. I'm thinking of using Google Drive.
Thanks Mark!
Hi. I am using OneDrive for documents and every day's work, GoogleDrive for pictures and DropBox for website backups. But I am interested too in what will others suggest. So thanks for asking the question :)
I was using dropbox for my website backup but it quit on me and I've not been able to get it back up.

For an online store, which theme would you recommend and why?
I would really appreciate any help I can get on this.
Thanks,
Ade
Yep, go with Mark's suggestion, WooCommerce is probably the easiest and most suitable e-store template around
Thanks, already checking but can't see woo commerce theme as an option in the list of themes provided by WA in Build a Website.
Check this link out, it will tell you everything you need to know about Woo Commerce. http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/
I would think you could use any theme you want. It's how you put photos and widgets on it and such that would dress it up to your liking. I use "Pretty" for my shoe site.
Of course! http://verydressyflats.com I'd appreciate your feedback. I have a new post coming tomorrow.
Hi - I use WooCommerce - so I used a WooTheme - I *think* they are probably best working with their own themes and plugins.
So if the commerce plugin you use comes from a particular developer, have a look and see if they have recommended themes.
Cheers, Mark

UpdraftPlus plugin has not done my scheduled website backup in over a week. How can I resolve this issue.
Please see the message I got below. I tried to fix but didn't wor
Ey there Ade, I opened my ftp with Filezilla and edited the wp-config.php. Looks like>>>> define('WP_DEBUG', false);
define( 'DISABLE_WP_CRON', false );
Notice the "false" on the end of the second line.... your's probably says "true" currently!
I submitted a support ticket this morning. I hope they will figure a way to get it back on. I like the convenience of automatic backup.
Thanks, Randy!
I found out that WA support disabled CRON jobs on my account because I was using BackWpUp, which stores temp files on the WA servers when performing a backup.
I asked them to re-enable CRON jobs, which they did provided I keep an eye out to prevent large backup files from being stored.
You may have to open up a support ticket to get CRON jobs re-enabled for your account.
Thanks, Patrick! I will try that.
By the way, what are CRON jobs? Why would a website be considered a large backup file? This is a "young" website which will become larger as time goes on.
Just do it manually. That's what I do with Updraft anyway. I have it automatically saved in drop box too. Seems a bit complex to get it done via a schedule.
I tried doing it manually but it is showing a countdown. Meaning it will be done later. Don't know if the backup will be successful when the time comes. I did the WP backup to my computer anyway, just in case something funky happens.
Thanks for your response.
Beacuse By default, WA has disabled CRON jobs. You can create support ticket and request them to enable it. Or you can use backwpup plugin. This will work fine
