HI everybody! I am Jewel Carol Oon from Singapore.
Just a little bit about myself, I have 4 beautiful children and a great husband. :) Our family has our own family business. We are a small R&D manufacturer on LED lighting, home automation products, etc.
And I love cycling, swimming and reading "internet" stuff. :)
I have always loved internet marketing ... and have been around for several years. In fact, I started a blog several years back and was not doing much to it, but now I just started doing something about my blog; and have just revamped my blog site ... I am now starting to be more serious with updating my blog. :)
I have a lot to say but at this moment don't know what to say ... In fact, in the beginning, when I just started this "crazy" internet business, I was quite an “opportunity junkie”. I practically joined almost all programs that came my way. ):
Anyway, it is a wonderful feeling to be here ... and it is very nice to be in this great WA community and everybody seems extremely helpful. I feel that being in a wonderful community like Wealthy Affiliate is great because I feel I am not alone in this "journey". :)
I am excited that I found WA community!

I played with Jaaxy before , but now its asking for $48 per month, is there any other site we can use to research a Niche name that is close to the accuracy as Jaaxy? ( like monthly searches, QSR, KQI, etc...)

I was in a similar place in terms of having a blog on the internet before WA. I did not really have a direction. Contractors, etc that may be contacts or leads for led lightning that comply with rebare requirements, it usually takes several months for the preapproval process, ample lead time to order your led lightning and ship? What do you think??

Jewel, so many of us "joined" the web world businesses because we believe in the success and ability to achieve. Too many of us were taken for more than we could afford. But here at WA that doesn't happen. WA is here to help and build successful people who desire to learn how to do it right and than WORD at it.
Too many offers tell you "You can be successful and we do it all for you" After you have spent all your hard earned $$$ you still have nothing to show for yourself.
Going for a licence of any kind takes training. Success takes practice and team work here you have both. Practice everything that you learn than share what you learn with others. Pat someone on the back for a job well done or give them your honest careful opinion on how you may have done it differently. Right is right, everyone comes from different directions but if the goal is still the same the path will all end up at the same road. Success is at the end of the line successful living is all along the way.

Thank you for following me back Jewel. I stayed in Singapore for about 5 years. The thing I miss about Singapore the most is the delicious food!! Nasi lemak, prawn mee, chicken rice, the different flavours of Indian curry, roti prata, wasn't too keen on laksa (too spicy). And I'm Indonesian! I'm supposed to be able to eat chilli! But I've been Australianised. As my Singaporean husband would say, I've become a banana!

I was just reading your bio, I was the same way about joining every program that came my way, I was looking for a new way to break out of the rat race, never finding one. I always drifted towards affiliate marketing but I never found a program that offered the assistance I needed in understanding and building my website. I was totally lost! Word Press was NOT my friend! Lol! Since finding WA, I am finding the same thing as you. The community is supportive and friendly. VERY different from any other program.

Sul, but yr focus right now should be first getting yr website and traffic, that is the right way to do because without an audience (people on your website) there is no point in having an opt-in box. The email marketing campaigns will have to come later in the process, step by step first. :)

I need some one to explain to me how one can actually make money from WA .... is it by referring people to WA and when they sign up I get commission on that or is it by designing websites? I feel very stupid here, but I need to ask as i have gone through so many scams and tireless modules and at the end of it they just want money, your reply would be appreciated,

There are many ways to earn, you can refer people to WA by blogging on yr site and earn commission, or sell other people's products on yr site too, etc... but first get a website up first by going through the training, very good training we have here, and also important if you are not sure to ask questions!! :)

Like many, I have also "been around" on the internet for a few years, but without doing anything much at all except looking for "the one" programme I feel comfortable investing my time, money and energy into, and not wonder if I am just wasting precious resources, including my time. At WA, there is no such feeling of concern.
Sadly, when I was here a few years ago, there was no free option and I really couldn't spare the monthly fee without making money out of it at the same time, so I pulled out again, before trying anything, realizing I would likely regret it, and I do. However, I am back and know now I am not going anywhere else. If I can't make a go of it here, then I wouldn't anywhere else either, so it's succeed or bust! (I am going to succeed).
