Unfortunately WA Vegas 2018 Wasn't What I Expected.

Last Update: March 09, 2018

It was even better this year!!!! Gotcha!

That's WA ad copy training at work people. Lol On a serious note, last year my father passed away from lung cancer. So I couldn't make it to Vegas. 2016 was a very rough year for me and I could have used the distraction & being around the WA Super Affiliate family. But it wasn't meant to be.

This year I was able to come back and I had certain expectations. But to my surprise Kyle and Carson surpassed them yet again. So what went down?

The Perks

As you may or may not know, Kyle and Carson fly you and a guest out to Vegas. Needless to say the view was awesome up there. Lol

Kyle and Carson spare no expense and put their super affiliates in an MGM Grand Hotel suite. And the rooms are probably bigger than some people's apartment with amazing views.

And it's so damn comfortable, me and my best friend found it hard to leave sometimes as you can see below. Lol

I've been to the MGM many times and only this year I discovered the pool.

The Food

Kyle and Carson took us to a The Prime Steakhouse in the Bellagio hotel where you could see the world famous fountain show.

Unfortunately, I was so damn hungry, I forgot to take pictures, but I'm sure the other super affiliates probably did.

The Entertainment

I can't say I'm a big golfer, but I definitely had a better appreciation of the sport after Kyle and Carson took us to Top Golf which was a driving range that made golfing fun for everyone. My hand and eye coordination aren't the best so I sucked. But I still managed to have a lot of fun trying to wack the balls and getting my frustration out. Lol

The Inspirational End

Kyle and Carson surpassed themselves this year by renting a private villa in The Mirage hotel that Michael Jordan recently used to celebrate his 50th birthday.

Watch the video here on YouTube.

This thing was amazing. First of all you need to be escorted in via a private, unassuming entrance to even find this place.

There was a private pool, fireplace, chefs, butlers, drinks, food, games and an awesome magic show. We all swore the magician was in league with the devil because of some of the tricks he was pulling. For instance, he was able to unlock my iPhone without me giving him my password. Needless to say I felt uncomfortable and quickly changed it.

The People

Eddy with a y, Steve aka "IvetriedThat", Ian aka "Pribs", "Vitaliy"

I discussed a lot of the lavish accommodations and events above. Don't get me wrong that stuff is cool. It makes you feel like a baller and a millionaire. It's very humbling and inspirational to see what hard work helping people can lead to.

But why I really love the Super Affiliate Vegas conference is the people. You may or may not know it, but I'm an introvert. I'm not really into the whole "people" thing. Lol. But I love being around the other Super Affiliates because of their positive energy, humor, intelligence, etc. I can go on and on but then it would just get weird. Lol

In any event when you're in this business not a lot of people understand what we do. They assume things like we're scamming people or selling drugs because some of the Super Affiliates do this internet marketing business full time. When people don't see you, have a 9-5, they start to wonder.

So it's very refreshing to discuss our shared experiences and challenges we face in this business. Obviously, being part of the WA community, we have each other online. But being around each other face to face brings a new dimension.

I've developed some great friendships with these folks. So I look forward to seeing them from that perspective. We have a lot fun cracking jokes and hanging out. But we also share knowledge and tips that help expand our business. Some of these tips have literally led to thousands of dollars per year for me. Shout out to Steve aka IveTriedThat and Nathaniell!

It's things like that which only happen when you can rub elbows with some smart business people that are all about helping you. So it's not just about the lavish stuff. It's about the friendships and sharing of knowledge that can take you to the next level.

What's Next?

During our conferences Kyle & Carson revealed a lot of great things coming to WA that are literally going to shake this community up for the better.

I don't want to give a lot of details because things roll out at different times and some things may not. That said, I saw and heard about some things that will help people make money sooner, help you get content done faster, and so much more I can't dive into. I feel like a kid at Christmas that knows all these gifts are coming and I have to wait to unwrap them.

At the end of the day, you should know we are not just out in Vegas living it up. We were also working to figure out how to keep pushing WA forward and making it easier for everyone to succeed. For my game of thrones fans, "Winter is coming". But more like a fun, happy Winter wonderland not an attack of a cold blooded army of zombies.

For those of you who don't understand my nerdy show reference, the translation is that Good things are coming and they're big.

What About You?

Hopefully this all inspires you to step up your game. I would love to see even more super affiliates, especially the wonder women of WA. Ladies you're under represented at these events. There is absolutely no reason why there aren't more female super affiliate. Considering that you're probably super women in your own homes because you manage so much. That said, you have access to the same training as everyone else and can achieve the same level of success.

For those of you stuck trying to choose a niche, maybe now is the time to consider doing the affiliate boot camp. There are millions of people on the internet that need guidance on finding a legit way to earn money online. And you can help them by promoting WA. No, it's not saturated. Remember what I just said, there are millions of people that need this help. You only need to reach a fraction of a percent of them to earn a full-time income. There is enough room for all of us.

Stop telling yourself lies about why you can't and shouldn't do this. If this simple Simon guy from the Bronx, NY can do it, anyone can.

Carson, "Eddy with a y", Kyle

Next year, it should be you in this picture with Kyle and Carson instead of this tall, dark, sexy chocolate man.... I'm just kidding. But I am "dead ass" serious that you should be with these guys next year.

They can help you take your life to another level like they have for me and the other Super Affiliates. So stop making excuses and make life changes instead.

Until next year,

Eddy with a y

What a great, fun article. It's Friday night entertaining, informational, and inspiring! Thank you for giving us concrete pics of the high life; if Top Golf is included, count me in! :) It sounds like a wonderful, meaningful time in Vegas interacting with all of the Super Affiliates.

Hope to see y'all there someday!

Awesome Eddy!

I am definitely trying to get there next time! Working around the clock on SWAG at the moment and also a decent bit on GGG.

Awesome report of Vegas. I have always the feeling it is every year the same with the golf and steak house and the good hotel facilities.. but I guess there are some extra things every year to outdo themselves that are different each year?

Nonetheless all these things would be amazing to be part of at least once in a lifetime. Never been in the US or in Vegas for that matter and would like to see some of that mega stuff in the US. Also I saw much better weather there then that snow we got here ;) - which is something nice to do in the middle of winter.

Awesome!

Thank you for sharing that. It is motivation I really need right now because it is definitely a struggle. You do show what happens though when the work is put in consistently and the training is followed. That's why I've started going through the training again and it has been refreshing because I see there have been some things that I've missed from my first go round with it and it is great to see that some of the training has been updated as well. It will be my goal to make it to Vegas sometime within the next 5 years :)

You're welcome Brian. It's great that you are going through the training again. I find that a lot of people try to fly through it and miss a lot because they're under the assumption it will speed up the process of making money. But it doesn't. So you're doing the right thing now.
Reply
Defiant6 Premium
You're exactly right. I did speed through it just a bit my first go round with it and I know the training does work as I've earned just a tiny bit of income from my site, but still a LONG ways to go to get to my first financial goal. I want to make sure I get things right this time and fully understand everything so that I can take my website and everything I've learned and bring it to the next level. Consistency is also something I'm working on as well.

Indeed Brian. Congrats on your achievement. Even if it’s a little it should be celebrated. When I made my first couple of cents online I was estatic because it confirmed this stuff works. I just needed to scale up. So you have the right attitude. Keep it up.

I understand the toll illness in the family can and does have. I have alot of personal sacrifice going on myself since my joining WA, and I'm gutted that I'm still in the bare bones of my endeavors. I want to find time for me, my WA endeavors, and find life and living. I always appreciate you being there and taking time for me and you are one person through all of this I wish I could meet and get to achieve the level I deserve to be at. This community is my only outlet and I need to be here...but...I need to become better here and be better for myself because I've never really had a vacation and the luxury and atmosphere you describe, plus fun?? It's only been in dreams or on tv for me and I'd love to experience it first hand with my WA peeps..thank you Eddy with a "Y"...

Hey Julie,

It sounds like you're dealing with a lot. I obviously understand some of this pain. It's definitely hard to push through when so many things are going on that may be out of your control. The one thing I learned through adversity in my life is that I can only control how I react. And nowadays I try to keep everything in perspective and just count the little blessing we take for granted like waking up in the morning, clothes on my back, roof over my head, my family, etc.

The good Things you have in your life really add up when you start to take the time to count all the "little" things we ignore or take for granted. So keep that in mind. Things will get better and you have to be ready for that by ensuring your focused on what you currently have around you. I hope that makes sense.

Hey Ed, I can tell, you that your post really got me all revved up.It would be something to be around you guys and learn and have fun.

What really drove the point home, is when you said that there are millions out there that we can help. Its only a fraction, that we need to make things possible.I sometimes sabotage myself into thinking that there is a lack..need to get that thinking out of my head asap.

With all the things happening at WA and as you say more to look forward to, It's feels awesome to a part of this community.

Thanks for the inspiration

You're not alone Roopesh. Too often I see people getting in their own way and not realizing how large the audience is. There is a lot of assumptions being made that are incorrect. So I'm happy that resonated with you. I was wondering if others would have picked up on that line. So good job!

Very inspiring post! Crazy how the magician could figure out your phone password. I always wondered how they did these things.....makes me wonder...

Sounds, like you and the SA gang, had a blast, while learning new things. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures you provided and I am glad to hear you were an introvert and still enjoyed yourself. I am an introvert as well so, if I ever make it to Vegas, this is good to know. I know one year I will be there as long as I keep pushing forward...

I never see too many ladies in Vegas, did any show up this year? It definitely would be nice to see more women there.

Thanks for sharing your experience...enjoyed reading your post!

Hey Lakisha,

My buddy was able to figure out it was certain math he was doing when he asked me to plug in my passcode into my calculator and multiply it by any number. He was just able to do some reverse math very quickly. It was still impressive.

Yea it was totally fine. I'm very comfortable with most of the super affiliates. And they all know Eddy disappears and needs his quiet time to nap and recharge. They crack jokes about it but all in fun.

I didn't see any ladies this year which is why I noted that in my article. So hopefully more will be inspired to make it. In all my years I've seen two women make it at different years. So we need to change that. ;-)

Aw, thanks. Yes, you can bring a plus one. So if that inspires you to make it happen, then go for it. I shout out the ladies because I know we have a lot of talented women here that can make these events. Maybe this will serve as a reminder that they can achieve anything including this.

Well, I knew that coming from you, that there was no way that you would be disappointed in being in Vegas with Kyle, Carson and the gang!

Wait a minute...did you say that they pay for you AND a guest!!! I didn't know that! That's insane! About how many WA members made it this year?

Thank you for sharing a small part of your experience, Eddy. And I agree...we definitely need more women represented, so it will be my honor to meet you guys in 2019!!!

Indeed. There were about 15-20 people I believe.
Reply
Zarina Premium
Eddy, just to double check, plus 1 has a fully paid trip too? Or is it only for those who make 3,000+ referrals? Or maybe they pay for their own plane ticket?
Reply
EddySalomon Premium
Hey Zarina,

It's plus one with their air fare and hotel room paid for. Your plus one also gets to enjoy the entertainment and dinners we have as a group. And its only 300 referrals not 3000.
Reply
Zarina Premium
Thanks for confirming, Eddy, this is awesome news!

As far as I know there is also "Rolls Royce" incentive after you achieve 300 referrals or something, that's why I mentioned it.

But good to know you need the usual 300 referrals to be able to invite someone along. This is actually SUPER amazing!
Reply
EddySalomon Premium
3000 is for extra perks like the rolls royce pick up and staying a sky loft suite like kyle and carson do vs a "normal" mgm suite. It's hard to achieve that 3000. But 300 is definitely very attainable.

You see, ladies are just more creative and have wider interests than men :))) We are not "stuck trying to choose a niche..." That's why it takes time for us to turn our focus towards WA promotion. :)) LOL

But tremble (ha-ha-ha!), it looks like a bunch of very smart and creative females is targeting bootcamp this year and aiming for Vegas.

We did discuss some of the problematic members. Kyle and Carson are adjusting certain things to address this. But folks should focus on their business sites and less of the high school stuff that may be hapening . We have a community of over a million users.
