I've been in the make money industry since the early 90s. But I was never able to make a full time living with it until about 2008.

Around that time is when I did the math. I was finally making more money part time running my affiliate marketing business than I was full time in Corporate America. So I made the choice to leave.

For 5 years I was a stay at home dad that was able to raise my kids and annoy my wife all the time. That's because she no longer had to work as well. All of this is a direct result of my affiliate marketing business and a lot of help from the big guy above.

Most of the time you can find me chilling at my blog: WorkAtHomeNoScams.com helping people make money from home and responding to their comments. Yes, there are other ways to make money online and I teach folks about them while making them laugh in the process. I also recently started another blog MoreRealReviews.com which is on track to be another great source of income for me. You can never have too many sources of income folks.

That said, I've taken the SEO skills I've learned here in WA and have used them for consulting opportunities and I work as a Director of SEO strategy for a fortune 100 company. So needless to say what the little money I invested to become a premium member of WA has paid for itself many times over in the money I've made on my own blogs and working for other companies. These multiple streams of income have helped me earn in the high six figures every year.

All and all I'm just a regular dude that has been very blessed because I have a positive mindset, positive folks around me, and more importantly I take action. I wasn't born knowing any of this stuff. I learned it by following what WA teaches and taking action until I succeeded.

I do want to end by saying this. You can achieve anything if you have the right mindset, take action and don't give up on yourself. You need a lot of patience as well to see success. But it is totally possible for anyone willing to learn and put in the work. I'm a perfect example of this. My final words to you is don't be afraid to fail forward. You never really fail if you don't give up!

Eddy-
I need your advice. I've got a really big category to write about-let's say it's passenger vehicles. I say there are 3 categories:Sedans, SUV's and pick-up trucks. I go on to list the pros and cons of all three types. At the end, I say-I think the best overall pick is sedans. While I'm writing the article, I am putting in links to all three categories to places where I'm an affiliate. At the end, I've just picked a category and not an individual car to review-just gave pros and cons of the different categories and why I think sedans are the best pick. Is this a good strategy or is it best to say I love Toyota Camrys and review it-giving pros and cons of that one vehicle?

Hi Eddy,

I've been at WA for two months now. In that time I've worked on my blog full-time. I've utilized SEO and social media, but I'm not sure if there is more I should be doing. I'm trying to attract more traffic to my blog. What can I do to gain more traffic?

Hi Shanae,

Two months is a drop in the bucket. It takes months before Google will trust your site and rank it. There are no shortcuts. You need to keep applying what WA teaches and being patient.

Here are some things that may help you:

Hi, Eddy
I'm on Level 2 of Training-almost half-way through. I get the impression that when I get through with Level 2 or even before then, that I will have all the ingredients to have my website up and running and possibly in a position to make money. Do you think that is a good possibility or am I being too optimistic?

Hey Mike,

You have a long road to go before making money. You're just learning the foundation. So don't think about money right now. You need to view this like a farmer: There is a lot more training to go through and content you'll need to build before you can be at the make money part. But every step you take gets you closer. This is a marathon or a long term investment in yourself that will require the patience to see it throygh.

Hi, Eddy-

I decided to re-read your "Cheat Sheet". I looked at it with new eyes. When I first read it 3 months ago, I was trying to figure out a niche. Today, with the experience that I've gotten with WA and all I've done, it has new meaning. It's really a great help.
After re-reading the part about domains reflecting what your domain is about, my question is, if I change my domain name, can I transfer over the content that I've written under the present domain name without being accused of plagiarism by Google? I've spent so much time revising and honing this one post that I just can't throw it away. My site has already been ranked by Google.

Hey Mike,

I'm glad you did that because I even say in the cheat sheet, you'll find value in it at different times of your journey so it should be saved and read many times. So it's great you did that.

You can pick a different domain name and have it point to your existing site. Site support can help you with this:

People change domains all the time. So it's not a biggie.

Hey Anita,

I'm not sure if I understand your question but here goes.

If you already bought a domain which is a (YourWebsiteName.com) from somewhere else you wouldn't need to buy another one here at WA.

You could use your existing one. You would just need to have it point to the website you would build here on WA.

If you already have a site and domain hosted somewhere else you could have them hosted here on WA if you decide you want to go premium which includes hosting and obviously all the great training and support you've been experiencing here.

Site support can help you move this stuff or get it set up. They can also answer some of these technical questions you have: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

And no premium doesn't cover a domain. If you don't already have one you would just need to pay the $13 per year for the domain name which wa does offer. It's the only other investment you would need to make outside your monthly premium.

It's just some of the normal costs of starting a business. It's still significantly less than what you would be investing if you tried to start an offline business where you would need to rent a store, pay for inventory, employees, telephone, insurance, etc.

I hope this helps.

That's weird. It's working for me. Try using a different browser or device to see if it's isolated to your machine.

You can also try posting your questions in live chat or as a blog post here at WA.

No you can still continue to go through the training and building out your site and content. The current place that you have your domain can still point to the siterubix site you build and host here at WA. Site support can help you with instructions on how to point it from your current domain registar to your site here on WA.
