I am having a problem trying to come up with a new niche for my next website. I was wondering what makes a good niche and how to find it.

There should be competition, the audience you target within the niche must be prepared to spend money and you should at least have a healthy interest in the niche since you'll have to do lots of work creating the site and content. That's my opinion but this is a good article to read too:

Hi Mark. You are right, I have to have an interesting niche for the audience to relate to and be willing to spend their money on, as well as something that I have an interest in. Thank you for the comment and the link to this article.

That is such an excellent question. And if you look through material here on the search bar you will find amazing answers.
But I also found that I had to ask myself some questions to make sure I was willing to work on a niche. Deciding How to Choose a Niche. Answer these questions and then look at your own responses.
1. What am I passionate about
2. What can I talk about for 5 to 10 years
3. What will bring me a sense of service
4.What will I learn from most
5. Can I fully monetize my passion
Sit down with these questions and write answers to each niche that you are thinking about, then looked at what added up. And an answer will show itself.
There are several niches that are truly in the top 10, like weight loss, dating, health, etc. But I think it also matters where your passion and heart is.
I hope this helps a little bit?
In peace and gratitude, ariel

Hi Ariel. Your answer helped me out a lot because I am passionate about a few things and I have to decide if it is something that I can talk about for years. I just hope that my niche will be something that both I, and my audience can relate to for a long period of time.
Thank you, -Brenda
