The son of the family who purchased website (aromabarandgrill.com) from me is a college student taking tech courses and he created a chat box with FAQ that can be integrated on

if it is built like a plugin for wordpress then it can be integrated...
or if a website can link to it then that link can be added...
but it depends on how he has set it up to be integrated into websites...

Interesting! I will definitely look into that. Thank you so much!

I actually like that idea a lot! He can self host the bot and then I can add a redirect link to the bot. That just may work!! Thx!

Sounds like something to ask tech support. Perhaps put in a ticket. However, first get more information from him. What type of program, what code does it use, does it use a specific plugin to work on the website.
Get as much information as possible from him first. Since he's already put it on other websites he should know what is required to make it happen.
The more info you have the easier tech support can assist.
Cheers! 🍺

Thx, Les! I tried tech-support first with a ticket and they sent me to the community. He (Mani) hasn’t tried to put it on other websites yet. He wanted to try it here first. Plus, it is specific to his family‘s website, but there are others that are general that he can create. I am adding text above because I have talked to him again and he explained it in more detail.

Social Engagement & Marketing

When I advertise my books on FB with my website link, there is a (?) next to my link. When I hold the cursor over it, the popup says, "This link is unknown. *Parked Domain."

It may not be linked to any unique website or web service, or you find with some affiliate links it may have a question mark with some number

You may try to pretty shorten your links Some social media platforms don't like to share raw affiliate links.

Hey Erin,

After searching Google for what may be causing this issues, sounds like a task that only SiteSupport can assist you with.

Is there an SSL Seal Code provided by Wealthy Affiliate to use for paid membership sites in order to ensure security? My Paid Memberships Pro plugin suggests one.

I'm not sure what you're looking for but the icon of the locked padlock should be shown in front of your URL.
:-)
Richard

Yes, WA provides ssL.
you can find it for your sites it they are not already automatically set.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites click on the "Details" button for each website. you will see the button for SSL

Thanks, George. I know all about the SSLs, but is there a code with them that we can use that submits a secure logo on sites where people use their credit cards?

You can check with Sitesupport.

Hi Erin, sorry I have no suggestions. Just wanted to say nice to see you.
Congratulations on your accomplishments.

All the best,
Michael

Aww, thanks, Michael. Nice seeing you as well!
Erin:)!

MemberPress is a premium and highly recommended. It has many features and integrations.

There's a comment below from Richard which you can view in relation May I ask, are you currently using Paid Membership Pro and if so, may I ask what is your experience so far. Thanks.

Hi Abie and thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm trying out BuddyPress right now and integrating it with Paid Membership Pro. I'm not understanding how to form the community once members pay and log in. So tedious! Erin :)!

Hi Erin,

I would strongly suggest that you repeat this question on WordPress.org they have many more diversified members there.

I really think you would get much better answers from there than here, where most members are an affiliate marketer. Over there you have a greater variety of website owners.

Try searching in the forums tab for threads on WordPress Membership Sites

Or you could search in the plugins tab for
1. MemberPress
2. LearnDash
3. Teachable
4. Restrict Content Flow
5. S2Member

Those are the top 5 uploaded membership plugins currently available to WordPress website owners.

I hope this helps,

Calvin

Thanks so much for your suggestions, Calvin! I will be sure to do this!

Erin :)!

Thanks, Jonathan, for your input. BuddyPress is compatible with Paid Membership Pro, which I have downloaded. This just may work out.

Erin :)!

Buddypress is a good plug in for that
