I just had an astronomical idea for a website but don't know if wordpress can handle it or if i will have to find certain software that will.
So my question is, is wordpre
I shouldn't think there should be a problem. Just browse through for a suitable theme. Good luck ! :))

i did a bit of research and figured out that i can buy a premium theme to do what I need it to do.
now to find the tools within it to do what I want it to do! ugh wish me luck... it's gonna be a frustrating ride lol
You may try asking this in one of the discussion rooms and choose a topic to get a better answer. Or go straight to chat, Kyle or Carson may be in there. :))
Hi Donna, I think word press be great and I don't think there are any limitations on what you can do on it since it is a widely used platform.
There are themes available for WP that can do everything but slice bread. Try Themeforest. You might also want to consider getting a webmaster to help you with the backend details. Worth the money, you are the creative one, let someone else worry about the coding and details.

i'm tying to build an amazon store and the plug in i'm using requires me to input an amazon access key id. Where do i find this and do I have to pay for it?
I would advise not to use the Amazon Plugins. I spent some time on the phone with Amazon and not all items linked to my affilite id. I removed the plugins. THEY ARE NOT NEEDED! When you do, you will not need any special codes or be asked to pay any fees. Let me know if you still need help!
i'll do a bit more research and see if i can do it without any plugins... i'll let you know if i need any help :)
Hey Donna,
In your affiliate dashboard menu area (on the left) scroll down until you see the menu item "Product Advertising API". Click on that.
On the main screen scroll down until you see a link for "Manage Your Account" and click on that. There will be a link for "AWS Security Credentials Console". Click on that.
There you will see an option for
Access Keys (Access Key ID and Secret Access Key)
Best Regards,
Jim
it wants me to sign up for an amazon web services account and when I do it wants a credit card?
Amazon does charges for certain aspects of using their API and for cloud usage but there are no ongoing fees. You may want to inquire with the plug in creator as to what the plug in needs the id for. I have had plug ins that have used the id but I never got charged for it.
Hi Donna, I have never tried to build an Amazon store before, Rick might be able to help you with this issue. Just go to his site at RickBell57@my.wealthyaffiliate.com. Let me know if you have any other questions, i'll do my best help you out. Thanks!

I've come across a few websites where you can buy a prebuilt site. they are usually under $200 but say that all the work is don't for you? are they beneficial and worth the mone
NO. Let me just say not everything is included. WA provides the FREE templates, hosting, maintaining the files, and once you become an affiliate with a company, it's a piece of cake to add images and ads...for FREE!
I have had involvement with one before but they just don't deliver as its not the website layout etc that is important, its your unique content, knowledge, and step by step implementation that get you there.
I once bought a "Prebuilt" website for about $150 the thing he forgot to mention was that the amazon accounts along with pretty much all the products was not included. So I ended up pretty much buying a theme for $150. I got my money back of course. Now there are a couple of sites which of course may be worth it, but I would always be sure that the items the website is selling is included somewhat of a affiliate account. :)
ya i was looking into them and it's hard to tell sometimes what's included and what you get for what you pay for
Yep, gobble gobble...:)) I have wild turkeys all over the place where I live. Funny to watch them trying to jump up into a tree...up and down over and over again..Lol!
Not sure about that...Lol....I had one fly out in front of my car, not across the road but in front of me following the road with me, I had to slow down, or I would have rear ended him..Lol. Too Funny.
NO! they are generally not worth the time or the money.
Have you heard of cookie cutter websites Donna?
If you just want a site created, you can have one done for less than $200 easy (check out Elance for bids) and if it's worth that much for your time I'd say it's a good deal. Will it work? That part is up to you once you have the site. :)
They may work if you have a good designer. You may find a local designer too who will show you his work. No matter what, look before you buy. John
