I just had an astronomical idea for a website but don't know if wordpress can handle it or if i will have to find certain software that will.

So my question is, is wordpress mainly a personal website or can it handle a lot of registered users uploading photos?

i did a bit of research and figured out that i can buy a premium theme to do what I need it to do.

Hi Donna, I think word press be great and I don't think there are any limitations on what you can do on it since it is a widely used platform.

There are themes available for WP that can do everything but slice bread. Try Themeforest. You might also want to consider getting a webmaster to help you with the backend details. Worth the money, you are the creative one, let someone else worry about the coding and details.
