Oh gosh my bad :). I once again jumped the gun and answered your question thinking you asked how we would promote WA on social media.

One thing you can easily do is search for a topic that interests you on this site. An example would be 'how to run a successful PPC campaign' or 'how to set up a wordpress blog'. Then whatever pops up, you can grab the affiliate link from that page and just post on your FB wall saying 'hey guys, if you've ever wanted to learn about how to run a successful PPC campaign, this is some great info' - it's an indirect way of promoting WA but I think if you're sharing helpful info with others, a percentage of people will join you here.

There's tons of training, especially in Bootcamp, on social media sharing.

i just read Nathaniell comments and yes he is correct having good keywords and connecting to social media ie Facebook, goggle + twitter and other social media sites will help you to increase your traffic. it will take time so be aware that traffic is like trying to sell cookies on a street corner that hasn't got any vehicles driving past until you flash a really big sign out showing them you are there, and people will get to know who you are, then they will purposely come to your website and buy those cookies, Just because they have gotten to know you and then your traffic will increase there are plenty of tutorial lessons here at WA that will help you to create ways to attract traffic as well..so don't get too dishearten it happens to the best of us.

This will be part of your Level 2 training. Mostly you will be doing keyword research and writing content, but social media will come in level 4. Level 5 expands upon the idea of content creation.

Keep writing content relevant to your niche. Make sure every time you write new content do a keyword search, that way you may be able to target specific traffic.

Keywords & clean looking site with not to many ads.

Hi. Once your website is up and going, you need to start writing relevant content for your niche. The blogs you write should have great keywords that Google will be searching for to rank your post. The higher the ranking, the higher your pages will display in Google searches. This drives your traffic. :)

Networking in any aspect of business is always good :) If you had asked me a few years earlier, I would have said 'a waste of time or just an excuse to have a drink or coffee!' However, now (being wiser, lol!) I can repeat the other comments below and add that you never know who you will 'meet' as a result to help you along your journey. :)

I believe that building a network of people can help you in the long run, actually helping each other cause we can offer our services, whether as writers, or I may have a product you may be interested in, or I may be interested in your product, even so we are a community striving for the same goal, creating our business from scratch in our own niche. The other aspect as other people mentioned writing blogs and presenting them to an audience and getting feedback from our readers, in this case the community. What a better way to see the response on the way you write, or to find out the sort of response was it what you expected to be? So then you can decide that this material has merit, then you could use it in your post on your pages online. In a way we help each other, being critics and giving ideas to each other the more people you can reach for the best and largest variety of responses you get, its like a survey. Please correct me if am wrong! That's what I believe anyhow feel free to respond I may be wrong.

Basically it allows you to connect to more people. You can see what they are working on, get help when you need it, and support each other. Now your network is small, so when you created this question, I and a few others got notified.

If you have a few hundred or thousand people in your network, they all get notified when you create a blog or question! (if they have their notifications turned on)

I think it's a good way to connect and to have people, or potential customers know what your about. And just like your inquiry on this page, having people in your personal network, helps to get questions answered and other help along the way. I also try to keep in mind to "pay in forward".
