Having been around the world several times but never able to save, I am now looking at retirement straight in the eye and thinking oh my, what will I do for extra income?
Creating an online business, that's what! And having fun doing it! Ok, that should read - creating an online business again: way back in the internet middle ages (1997), I had a small mail order business, which went quite well and which I wanted to expand online. In Germany, at that time, nobody, but nobody put their trust in buying something online, let alone something for their cat - my business was called "The practical cat - exclusive gifts for the cat lover". So, yes, I was way ahead of my time, both in terms of the online business and of the then just starting craze of pet accessories.
Anyway, my day job (classical music management) was taking up my days and nights so there was no time to pursue the online venture. Now the internet world has changed completely - easier in some ways but so much more complex in others. So now I am looking forward to learning from and contributing to the WA community!
Sibyll's Goals 3
I am willing to invest as much time as necessary in order to achieve my goal of running a successful, i. e. money making website. As a long time freelancer, I know that might mean much more than the conventional 40 hours a week. As for how much i would like tomake - enough to pay off my debts and set up a comfortable monthly income stream.
