On lesson 2 bootcamp task I am frozen. (brain block).... Share at least 3 posts, discussions or training's from WA! How DO I DO THIS???
It's not dumb. The one dumb question is the one that isn't asked. Be patient with yourself, You will get there. Sometimes I read the lesson, watch the video, think about it then go back and watch it again and it makes more sense to me.
It is done by copying the Affiliate link at the third left under the Title of the blog. Then paste it in a comment of a discussion or training.
Go back to and check the second video up Day 1: Getting Rolling
What happened ... Myself and another responded and those responses disappeared and then I commented again, which is there along with many other responses but not my original or the other guy's ... are we still having issues today does anyone know?
I know I already answered this and someone else did too .... how come there are no responses .... ????
Hi, there are no dumb questions, see if this helps clear it up :-)
here is a good training on how to share WA content How to Share Content & Earn at Wealthy Affiliate
Hi Richie, you see on every post, lesson, blog here at WA there is a white button with the affiliate symbol and word on it?
Click that link and you'll get your affiliate link for that lesson or blog. Kyle is saying to share that link via facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, email, etc.
Hope that helps..
Todd

On lesson 2 bootcamp task I am frozen. (brain block) Share at least 3 posts, discussions or trainings from WA! How DO I DO THIS???
Without reading the other answers 1) As per your niche, you create 3 posts or blogs, 2) Following the links on the training and you share those posts with others and ask for feedback (the good, the bad, and the ugly) 3) Then you, following the link in the training, you review a number of other people's posts and tell them what you think of their posts. I get brain blocks all the time, but I have a good excuse...I am probably in early stage Alzheimers Disease. DAN
The only dumb question is "Is this as dumb question"?
This task means to share your links on social media or share the WA opportunity in other ways like face to face (as if anyone does that anymore ... lol), local ads and so on.
ROCK ON!
E
btw - that was an excellent question that many folks ask.

If it is better to buy domain should it always be a .com?
You can get traffic as long as you promote it properly however dot com is the most popular
I do'not think that it is a disadvantage as both are the same just a domain make it look more professional if people care looking at the link rather than the content that say =^-^= but both will get ranks by google the same way and work the same.
The free domain can be successful and people do make money from them. In general though, your own domain tends to rank better and it will tend to earn more money over time.
As for buying a domain, you don't have to go with .com. The idea is generally to look for something that represents you well and that people will remember. As people are very familiar with .com that option does often work best. However, if you can't find a good .com domain name, other options can work.
I changed from siterubix to mywahosting.com. The only problem I had was when I went to use the website address in some places it was too long, so I used the Google Shorten URL link.
Not really. The benefit of "dot com" is it's immense popularity (take a quick look at the image I attached below). It is sure an advantage to have a ".com" domain. However, it does not mean that other domain name does not work. Many members here have domain name ".net", ".org".
I think the problem with the free website is it's long name. Can you imagine try to tell someone to visit "your-niche.siterubix.com"? I'm not saying that it's won't work, but people usually prefer something short and easy to remember. For example: "howtotrainmydragon.com" vs "howtotrainmydragon.siterubix.com". Which one you think is easier and more convenient to remember? Domain name is like the first impression, good first impression will help you connect with people easier, but if your content is terrible, you still won't have traffic.
So I would say it is advisable (and better) to have your own domain, but you can try out with a free domain first. Make sure you are comfortable with your niche (I tried out with a paid one and have to buy a new one cause I have to change my niche). If you sure you can work with your niche, buy a new domain, and transfer your content from the free website to a new one.
On a side note, siterubix is also hard for people to remember and spell. That can be a problem if they are trying to remember your domain name, or if you are telling them it verbally.
Agree with previous comment. "Free" domains that are commercially available are typically associated with spammy accounts and can be difficult to rank.
a dot com generally holds more weight when it comes to ranking. Country specific domains also hold great weight. The free domains wont hold as much power.
