I keep getting a message saying that the video can't load due to server or unsupported format. I've never had this trouble before.

Always try all the browsers.

I use Google Chrome and yo probably will need to or Firefox is another good one

Try a different browser. You may need to update Flash. ~Marion

Are you using Google Chrome as your browser? They usually work the best in Chrome.

Why can't I get training videos to load and play?

Husband and wife or employee? Is a separate account required?

Try using the new user tab.

Could you tell me where to find the new user tab?

Or you can ad a new user and define the role f.e as contributor. That's a way of internal support. Otherwise I would the below suggestions.
CU, Stefan

Yea.

My spouse signs in through WP to work on our sites. I put her on as an administrator on all of them. She does not care to log into WA, and doesn't have to. Although I imagine it's a different situation if you have someone working with you who also cares to learn and interact here.

Ken is right. Ken's always right! :-)

Thank you Cathy, you are very kind.

From what I have seen I think you are right! Ken is always right!

I have been around this profession for quite a while. ;-)

A separate account would certainly be recommended.
However I believe if you want to give your significant
other access to your account, you can.

Thanks Ken. Is there a taboo about two computers being signed on to the same account at the same time?

No you will need to PM Kyle to let him know. My sister is my roommate and she had to get Kyle to set her account up for her

Thanks Candace. I'll do that.

Joe

I would like to know this myself.

I am a premium member and have been advised by several that it is better to purchase your own domain. I am about to begin my first website and would like to start with a purchas

You can get a new Go Daddy Domain for 2.99 or something just google I think it is Scott Sigler Go Daddy Discount codes find the discount code when checking out add the code the price should drop from $14 to $2.99 or something like that once registered then you can forward the domain anywhere you want. :-)

if it makes you comfortable to have your own domain, cool, the lessons will show you how to get it rolling. one step at a time, sometimes it is harder when we think to much LOL. :))

Overthinking is a definite downfall of mine!

Cathy (KatieMac) has you covered on that. If you take her advise you won't go wrong.
This link might also help you out which is presented by Kyle

Take care be well
Andre

Yeah, don't want to sound repetitive but KatieMac is right. Just get your domain and the join the dots, as it were. All the step by step training is there to show you what to do next.

You can start with your own domain name just stick with the lessons and how to transfer your domain over to be hosted by WA,, wish you every success

The linking part will be covered in your premium membership training, BUT, it is very simple to do what is called "forwarding" from your godaddy domain name. This essentially allows you to use YOUR domain name and "forward" that name to your WA affiliate link or any other site of your choosing, for example. They can talk you through making that change to your settings on each domain name you buy.

During the first lessons you get advice about how to choose your domainname, I would look into that first before you choose and buy one. F.i. I have an myname.nl domain, to bad nobody enters my name in the google for a search :(

I use godaddy.com - less than $10/year for a dot com. Just another option for you :)

That's what I did:) If you buy your domain through namecheap and plan to host it here at WA, follow this training:

Wow, that was fast. Thank you so much!!

Me too! The link that Steve gave is VERY helpful ;)

You're quite welcome:)

After you are up and running, what would be the benefits of moving site(s) to a paid domain. I am not that far in the training, but it seems like everything needed is already he

1 - it will give more domain authority with google which means it will help your google ranking

2 - you will be able to apply for google adsense account and other accounts such as commission junction and link share

3 - You will be perceived by your visitors as more professional and instil more trust and increase the buying clicking rate

Well that says a lot! Thanks so much. If I may, how soon after getting going would you suggest doing that? And, by getting started I do mean, close to perfect, great content etc.

If you find a domain name and niche your confident about then go for it don't wait.

You will be building your site as you go and people will be commenting on your pages well before it's perfect and google will be indexing so I would say look for one sooner rather than later as you don't want to back track on seo that you've done.

Starting with a new domain will be like starting seo from scratch.

it will not hurt to be indexed even before the site is ready as seo is organic and it takes a fair amount of time to a get reasonable amount of traffic. It will start as a snowball effect.

So get thinking now and see if you can find the perfect domain before you start on any serious posting

Your website looks more professional and shows that you have more control of it. Unlike when it is just a sub-domain wherein it is obvious that it is "sub" or you are just attached :-). etc . .

Thank you so much!
