I want to revive my website out of the closet and I am wondering the best way to go about it. I know I have to check all the links, but is adding to the posts already there hel
You already know about checking links and make sure you are still an affilaite with the programs those links may be associated with.
Still looking at your old posts do they need editing to trend with the current times such as dates, example of images etc. Also add some new content to those old posts and if needed take some out if they are not related to current trends.
Create some new posts along the way that related to your niche topics and help answer what people are asking.
Also with the helping what people are asking make sure your old posts are doing just that as well.
As you go along re-editing or even add new content make sure you are connect with GSC and Bing Webmaster tools and send in a new site map and request indexing for your old posts once they have been redone. How to revive your old posts by automatically sharing them on social media Is Your SIte Getting Stale? Wishing you well

You can edit All except changing the URL. If the URL changes to Google it would be a new post, any ranking that has been done would be lost.
You can use a plugin that will give it an update time or just mention at the top this post has been updated.
The plugin I use is called WP Last Modified Info
hope that helps Joe

I need to cancel my membership for a short time for financial reasons, unemployed.
Yep the price does not change - if you do cancel all you need to do is reactivate your premium account.
And if you have websites being hosted here you you will need to move those sites to alternative hosting. You ahve up to 30 days from teh time you cancel to move your hosting.
