I have someone implementing a few things on my website so he heeds to have the details of my server/webhosting
you are better off adding them as another user on your site rather than giving away your admin or main password.
this way once they have finished you can delete that user and keep your site secure.
so go into your site dashboard and add another user as an administrator - log out and find the details uinder sitemanager.
if they really need ftp access then these details are under details.
remember this is your business - make sure you keep it yours.

So I recently got what I thought was a cool name but I dont know what to do with it. I have lots of Ideas but I'm not sure if I'm able so here it is let me know what you think
many of us have found what we thought was the holy grail of keywords with high traffic and low QSR only to find it was fools gold. those numbers don't always tell the real story. sorry to burst your balloon.
You should be very confused, it seems to me.It's a good idea to first decide what your site will be about, then look for a domain name.Let's say you love cooking and you build your site around it. Then you check something like "bestcakesever.com".
If you want to teach people how to buy from Amazon, or to affiliate with Amazon, then you can somehow play with your idea. But first check with Amazon if you can use their name in the way you want it. Maybe not, like many people pointed out here.
And just a side note- people will not be looking for your domain name in the net, but for your articles and product reviews.

You don't want to infringe on Amazon or be on their bad side. It has over 2 million viewers because it has Amazon on it. The only way I know you can leverage on it is go with their affiliate.

Or would I end up with a dead domain? Thanks in advance I'm going to check that out right now too just to see what I can pull up on the whole subject.
If you use a big company like Amazon in your domain name they will sue you. Even if you're an associate-amazon, that's their affiliate or have other affiliates.
For example I love Louis Vuitton bags (I don't just an example) and I want to sell it, I would create a domain name call imsellinghighendpurses dot com. I would not put LV or Louis Vuitton in my domain dot com.
However, once you have your domain you can promote LV in your website all you want.
Once you have the right keyword your domain would not be dead because it's a name they love and trust.

That name is very close to "Amazon" That could be a problem as Triblu has pointed out. I would definitely research it BEFORE you go with it!

You might want to be very careful using such a domain name.
Google searching "can I use other businesses names in my domain name" (without the quotation marks, of course) brought forth some posts you may want to read over... before you actually try using that domain name.
Hope this helps you.
Amazon is a brand name and I would suggest to check further if that infringing the trade mark guidelines of using 'amazon' for your website (business).

Your url should just be that and nothing else or the link won't even work. Your title is what your post is about and that would be the text in the title box. The description is just what your post is about and if you're talking about the All in One SEO description box then just don't worry about that as I myself don't even fill that out. Google will take parts of your post (usually the first paragraph) and that will be used as your description.

Your url should just be that and nothing else or the link won't even work. Your title is what your post is about and that would be the text in the title box. The description is just what your post is about and if you're talking about the All in One SEO description box then just don't worry about that as I myself don't even fill that out. Google your device for instructions.

On a windows computer, I use Monosnap. It was recommended by a fellow WAer to me years ago. I have been using it ever since.
If you're on a mac you do an easy Shift+cmd+4. You could also try Monosnap - https://monosnap.com/welcome

On my Mac: Hold down shift +command and hit '4'. You will get an indicator with which you can outline all or part of the screen and when you let it go you will hear a'camera click' and your screenshot will be on your desktop. Very useful tool
you can use the window key + PrtSc, your screen will fade a bit, and you can find it back in a folder in your images
But this is an awesome free program Screenshots on the Fly
