Are these good results for a keyword?

Search = 225, Traffic = 0

You really need traffic

Thanks Paul. have an awesome day.

And you find the keywords ok

No, if there is no traffic, then even though they are searching, they're not using the results.

Thanks Mel. Have an awesome day.

What is Amazon.com back end system? Is it the same as a drop ship platform? Are there any credible drop ship software on sale / providers?

Thanks.

You business model:

I want vendors to be able to upload product information to my platform and I have a second platform for affiliates to sell the products uploaded by vendors

Vendor uploads their products on my platform
Affiliate sells the products
I act as a middle man.

Not sure this can help you but it looks like you create a platform for affiliates, check out tapfiliate.com, you might want to explore the front end where vendors can upload.

Not sure is this what you are looking at.

Part of it Aikmen will be an affiliate software. I guess I will need a CRM software for the Vendor's back end. Thanks. Have an awesome day.

No, Amazon is a distributor.

A drop shipper takes an order for a product from their customer/client. They then contact the manufacturer, distributor or warehouse and have the product shipped directly, or dropped, to the customer.

The drop shipper may pay for the order up front in cash or credit to the manufacturer.

As a distributor, the order would be delayed waiting for it to ship to them, just to be relabeled or repackaged and then shipped to the customer. Large distributors (NOT Amazon!) often offer to have out of stock merchandise sent to the customer by drop shipment as a timesaving service.

So If I was recruiting vendors on my platform and getting customers or affiliate buying and selling the products on my platform, I would need a drop shipping software? Is that what you're saying Tgtobb?

An affiliate never, ever owns or handles the product, they simply find the owner of the product and put them in contact with the buyer, for which they receive a commission or "finder's fee".

If your model puts you in the middle of the transaction then you also need to look at your liability if thigs go wrong, shipment get lost, etc. That is what makes being an affiliate so attractive, you have very little to worry about in terms of liabilities, other than the wording you place on your own pages, and in particular, your Privacy and ToS pages, don't take those points lightly! :-)

It sounds more like you are wanting to become a ClickBank type of operation. In that case you really need to talk with an attorney who specializes in internet law. If that's the case you can PM me and I will put you in touch with my lawyer (Georgia, USA)

I don't think I need legal expertise at this present moment. At this stage I will want to understand what is the back end system required for this business model. You're right..it is something like clickbank. Any advice what back end system I will need?

The back end would need to be designed around the processes of your business model, that is what needs to be honed first, Basically, you would be talking a typical (but NOT off-shelf!) CRM with eCommerce.

Other than designing your process (mindmaps help a lot with this) I would not recommend going much farther DIY.

Yes definitely it will not be DIY.
Thanks for conforming the CRM with e-commerce back end system.
Currently working on the mind map.
Thanks for the advice tgtob. Highly appreciate. You have an awesome day.

tgtobb - Great Advice.

I'm convinced that Being an Affiliate is the way to go. These discussions are JUST Full of Knowledge. Look forward to more of you insight in the future.

not as far as I know however if you want to sell and do not have space for you goods you could use there fufillmetn program

I wanted something different.
I want vendors to be able to upload product information to my platform and I have a second platform for affiliates to sell the products uploaded by vendors.

So basically the business model:
Vendor upload their products on my platform
Affiliate sells the products
My platform becomes the middle man..

Any ideas Katie?

Check out JVZoo, Clickbank, Warrior sites, and etc. to give yourself an idea of what something like would look like....It is quite complicated and lots of work required to have a viable program that product developers will want to be a part of...Definitely a money-maker though if done well...

Another idea that you might explore would be a membership site...This would be YOUR products that members would have access to for a monthly subscription fee...This is quite an attractive model in that it provides passive income for you...

The membership site is easier to get in place and can be lucrative, as stated, and also, you have a LOT less maintenance than with the first scenario (a lot more moving parts)...Either way, you have yourself a challenge it look like!

I love challenges !!!

Cheers!
Dave : )

Thanks for your thoughts Dave. I agree this is challenging. I will look into the membership site model and see what are the possibilities.
My platform will be selling physical products, is there a possibility to integrate physical products in membership sites?

I love challenges too. Usually if it's done right, the end results are humongous. Cheers;)

Hmmmmm....I would imagine it could include physical products, the membership site I am setting up only has digital products (i.e. videos and eBooks, PDFs, etc.)....

We are doing a physical products sales set of sites over and above the membership site, but that is being used for products that we own and are selling in packages to the traffic we get...

Not sure I understand completely what you are setting up, but if it is like a Craigslist or similar, and you are focusing on a niche, either may work depending on how you market it...

Good stuff!

you want to great a affiliate and seller platform a bit like GuardianDeal, it is a lot of work but it can be done, this is a older bit of training however it might help you

Hi Katie,
I am not creating my own product. I will be recruiting product owners to have their products displayed on my platform. I will also be recruiting affiliates to sell the products showcased on my platform.

Anyway thanks for the attachment. It will help me with additional reading and information. Have an awesome day.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the additional input. I will look into membership sites as see if it can work for my business model.
I have attached a screen shot on my business model. Any additional input will be highly appreciated.
Have an awesome day. Cheers.

What will be the best practice? To sell to your local community (country) or to sell internationally? Business model type: Affiliate programs.

Internationally I would say, I sell all over the world why put limitations on yourself.

It would depend on your niche and what you want for yourself I have sold stuff to europe and the UK but also have sales in the USA

It all depends on your competition I think... and in which country you live?
Personally, I've started with an international business, because I thought it was easier to start one in English (this way I could really follow each step of the WA training).
It really helped me throughout the process, but now I have to say I'm thinking about creating another one in my mother language...
Maybe, you can also do it this way??

I don't know if this helps you a bit?

Hey Nasrat, I sell both in my home country and internationally. My site is in english, so any english speaking countries could in principal benefit from it, but my links are directed at two countries in particular. I don't know about best practice, but this is what I do.

Selling local or international - in affiliate programs?

Should we have our website structured to have more post or more pages? Thanks.

It depends on what you are doing. If this is affiliate marketing with Amazon then you will have to go for posts because there is a limit of 80 items in the main menu, not enough if you start writing product reviews as pages.

If you promote WA it is similar; a few pages as pillar articles and the funnel traffic through posts.

I have a site about mountains, so have more than 60 pages and this will grow as far as possible.

Thanks.
