We work with homeless and slum-dwelling families in and around Bangkok, Thailand for about 30 years now. Currently, we are planning a major project to profile our local slum community needs in hopes that we can help other community development groups and individuals to design and implement better and more sustainable projects for the areas where they are working. The communities too often face a problem of projects designed and implemented that do not actually reach out to their greatest needs.

I don't think or care much about the money aspects. My focus and passion are on working with people at the lower end of the food chain, helping them find better solutions to their needs.

Wishing you much success. My website is based on crafts and the supplies for the ribbon yarn is from India and Nepal and provides women in poverty with an opportunity to earn an income to support themselves and their families.

In this way, I can relate to your goal of more sustainable projects for those in need.
