Underneath SEO in my editing post ist says no title..i do have a title i thought..can somebody check my first and most precious, serious post..lol.to see if i did this correctl

The SEO Title is something you need to fill out, if you don't, it'll just take whatever title you have already in your post. The SEO title is the title that will show up on search results.

People can't see your site unless you have it on your profile.

Grace thank you ..how do i put it in my profile..my website..my URL..address http://playpedalsteelguitar.com

Grace you are always there for me..bless you ..i just posted my website on my profile..can i put my face book and instagram on there too? if you have the time will you read my post, the Model post and give me some feedback please..i value your opinion and help you give me..your the best......Lisa

Okay Lisa, I will check it later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Your profile - you can add as many links on there as it allows! :) That's actually the only place we're allowed to put our links on WA, unless a lesson says we can add it to the comment thread underneath the lesson.

You're very welcome Lisa, I help whenever I can. :)

grace i tried to leave you a private message and then it ask for a topic..so it makes me choose one.. then my private message i wrote to you is gone and it sends me to whatever title i had to type in..how can i private message you without a title..

Not sure about all that, you couldn't just go to my profile and click Private Message? Anyway, no worries, I sent you one, you just have to reply. :)

If you can share your post url, we can help you to confirm. Try update the post and see if it still say the same thing.

thank you for the help. i believe my computer was not warmed up..but i would love some feedback on my post i just published....Lisa

a guitar must be purchased to learn it...no matter how i phrase it or turn it around or use different words like purchasing or buying or selecting a steel guitar it comes back

Hi Lisa,

You have used “Ask A Question” for help, so this shows up on everyone’s dashboard so you can get help from multiple people this way. Therefore, all the comments are for you.

From what I’ve been reading below, you are approaching a bit different than what you should be doing.

Your post is about teaching people how to play this one course, so therefore the keyword you should be targeting should have to do with the course you’re teaching.

So instead of looking for buying guitar keywords, you should be looking for keywords like “how to play course D for beginners”... or something that is similar but gives you the criteria you want for Searcg AVG and QSR.

You need to have a separate post that talks about all the Steel guitars you like and recommend. This will be the post that will talk about all the steel guitars, details, and where to buy (affiliate link), so this is the post that will need the keyword that has to do with “best steel guitars” or “how to pick the right steel guitars” or something similar.

You didn’t find good keywords becuase nobody puts in “buying guitar” in google to search for one. You need to think of the words or phrases that people would use to search things about steel guitars.

Finally, to tie the two posts together, the post where you are teaching how to play a course, you would put near the beginning and end that to check out your “best recommended steel guitars here” and you will link those words with the URL of your Steel Guitar recommendation post.

You can do many other similar posts as the how to play a course post and lead them all to your Steel Guitars recommendations page.

I would structure your posts this way. This is also called internal linking when you link one post to another post on your own site which is important for ranking. You should always have two internal links in each post you do.

I hope this all makes sense, if not, ask me more questions. :)
Grace

Grace i just read this reply..so sorry for the delay..i am so confused..that is great advice but still not grasping what your saying..so im on lesson 9 part 2 i think..sorrry..but im trying to write my paragraphs with headers. i think i should watch Kyles video again on this lesson.. now on all post are we supposed to tell them what we are writing about then write about then tell them why i write about it on all my post.or just intro to my website?..i am sorry i am so slow at this..i am over thinking and i wish i could just do it but i feel everything is not perfect yet..i know i can always change these and add things to these post right? So is this on all post i write..this is my content for my followers or whom ever visits my site..i have so much content but not sure how to lay it down..thank you for taking so much time to check out these things for me...hope i catch it this time as i watch video lesson once again..thanks Grace..........Lisa

Hi Lisa,

My reply above goes with the question you asked originally which was about keywords.

What you've replied with is asking me other questions so if you're working on something else and reading my reply on a different topic, it's not going to make sense I guess.

I thought you meant Lesson 9 Level 2 but when I went to that lesson, I don't see what you're asking to what is in the lesson, so I'm not sure what LEVEL you're on. The way the courses are organized here is by Levels, Levels 1 - 5, then there are 10 lessons in each. So if you can clarify which Lesson 9 in which level, it would be helpful.

I'm going to try to answer this: "im trying to write my paragraphs with headers"

You mean write your paragraphs with headings/titles? Yes you should. You should have a main Title which should include the keyword you're targeting.

You should also use sub-titles to break up your whole article into sections.

I have this training here to help others write a 1000 word post easily, maybe this will help: You don't have to be perfect, you won't get it perfect, and in fact it's a waste of time to get it perfect.

Yes you can edit any post that's already published and even delete them.

Writing a post is like just writing about a specific topic... Yes you would have a little intro to that topic as your first few sentences, about 100 - 200 words.

The next two or three sections, you can write more about that topic.

Then you'll have a last section, where you'll give a conclusion and a quick summary of what you taught in the post or what they should have learned by then after reading the main part of your post.

My training I linked above will help with this.

YES, all posts you write will be for your readers to view and others who come on your site from search engines will be reading these posts you write on your blog.

It's good you have a lot of content to share, you just need to find a way to lay it all down.

Make sure each post is for a specific topic or a learning experience for your audience... a specific how-to, or details of a specific guitar, etc... which comes back to keywords. Make sure each post has one keyword or keyword phrase you're trying to target.

You can PM me your phone number and we'll see if a call would be better for you. :)

I'm in the USA in pacific time zone currently.

Grace you are
queen...omg i will work through the night..i will take you up on that offer, no doubt but i know i haven't explained myself very clear..so see what i mean..writing content is wreaking havoc on me..grrr...lol..i will text you back so you might be able to understand me better when i explain it better..then we can go from there. that is so sweet of you to give me so much of your time.. i want to succeed so bad and have the knowledge i just got to get over my hump here..thanks Grace and ill get back to you in a bit with my lesson i'm on...have a great night ..you are the best....Lisa.

No worries Lisa, we all learn at different pace, since you have all this content you want to push out, I really want to help you to get over this hump on how to write it all down.

So I don't have a problem with doing a call so that it's easier to explain and such.

Just send me a private message when you're ready and we'll set up a day/time. :)

All my replies are gone from the ones i answered..what happened did you all get my replies?

might be help

Glad to you got answers

Larmu are these replies for me..?

Yes. Follow the comments. Choose the best for you. If you need help please massage in below thanks

Mark and Melissa both have very good answers. You'll get it. Keep switching the words around and something will come up.

electric guitar musicians 356-searches, 61-traffic, 95-QSR

That was me just typing in nice guitar in Jaaxy and I scrolled down and saw this. Would that work?

isnt 356 searches very bad?

The Rules of a Quality Keyword
There are a few rules that you need to follow

Rule #1: More than 30 monthly searches. You want your far left "Avg" column to ideally be greater than 30. Sometimes it is OK to go with a search volume less than this, but over 30 searches per month is ideal.

Rule #2: Less than 100 QSR (Competition). You want to keep your competition below 100 pages in Google, the lower the better though obviously. You will likely come across many terms with less than 100 QSR when doing your research, and that is even better!

As you progress with your website, under 200 is perfectly fine as you will be gaining more authority and better ranks in search engines.

This is what I found.

Just because they have to purchase one doesn't mean that they're searching for one online. Musical instruments are tough because a lot of musicians want to touch it, etc., and don't purchase them online.

right but my Niche is Play Pedal Steel Guitar..so the first thing you have to have is a guitar..so im telling my audience that to learn this course they have to choose a guitar..many models but thats another post

my Niche is Play Pedal Steel Guitar..in order for me to teach them or give them content they must have a guitar or why would they want my help..Im helping to direct them to sites to buy one or in order for me to help them play they must have one..so that is first and most important post isnt it..go i order as you learn to play..i never thought about the order..what post comes up 1st or do they choose any of my post after they get to my website..wow maybe i should just start writing about other things on my website like famous steel players..that will be one of my post..does it matter if i go in order as they learn..i have confused myself now and i had this down..ugh..lol

Personally, I don't think you have to go in order - draw traffic to your site with interesting facts and stories about steel guitars and guitarists. Build a following, and THEN add affiliate links to products - not just guitars, but sheet music, picks, cses, etc. Build authority in the niche first - it won't be wasted time.

I am so sorry i just seen this comment from you..great advice..so i dont have to start off telling them or helping them get a steel? I am stuck on my paragraphs and headers so im going back to video once again on my lesson..3 times i have watched this..4 maybe..lol, i will be back im sure to ask you for help..you seem to clarify this better than anyone for me. so i thank you and have a great day....Lisa

Here is a list of some keywords you can try. If none of these work, then I would recommend looking each one up and seeing what Jaaxy gives as others.

(Sorry for it the numbers are confusing. It doesn't want to format the right way)

I don't know if this helps you but I tried a few, it was a bit difficult. How about best steel guitars or where to buy steel guitars where there are no other websites competing on google.

ok i hope this for my question..Guitars are blown up already..big difference in Steel guitar and Guitar or Electric Guitar..my keyword i know has to make sense, i tried Purchasing, Buying.Choosing, and left Pedal out and then put Pedal back in Steel Guitar now will google look down upon using twisted titles..that make less sense in my keyword im using for my niche..they all are solid titles cause thats what i would look up if i were to purchase a steel guitar as a beginner..they all come back

I just found this KW in Jaaxy "buy a good guitar" 56 searches 78 QSR. Wouldn't that work? Maybe how to buy a good guitar.

Mark are these directed towards my question or is another doing steel guitars too? i have never used this format for help b4..are all these for me?..lol

maybe entice them to want to learn how to play and then sink them into buying one.

if they are on my site then they are looking to play or looking to see whos got this site..i know steel players from all over the world and they all know me..so i would be nosy and want to know who is behind this website..lol.i am doing this for new beginners and intermediate players and even the professional players of steel guitar world,,there will be something for everybody on my site that will even entice the older players..i got this one as far as content..i have more knowledge than most of these players i think..steel guitar with pedals is not that old..like guitars are..i started from ground up with the best of players in the world..hope this helps me rise above others..i am positive i will do great..just need some help to start my content and post..thank you..Lisa

Does it help to name your website earliest in the alphabet, for instance..( Cbestmusic) or (seebestmusic) which would rank higher, if i were to rank. or does it matter how its

It only ranks slightly better if the domain name is a keyword you want to target for your niche.

Alphabet order wise, it makes no difference.

Glad you're back! ;)

Grace thank you. I think i understand but if i don't get it when i get to that lesson again then ill for sure be back..lol..Lisa

It's best to have a domain name that makes sense, short, and easy to remember. :)

Check out here. Or you can search in jaxxy keywords hope you help with that.

Thank you for your help.!!

Great question...In short, no. What you want is something that sounds right and is easy to remember. The URL is just the way the visitor gets to your site so make it easy for them. The easier it is to remember while keeping it relevant to your niche (so they remember what it's for) the better.

Okay and Thank you for the help.gets a little confusing at times..

Is there ever a time when we can choose your own password or will it always be chosen for us when we build our own Websites.? I just changed mine thinking i could use my passwo

For your sites, you can change the password to what you want however, if you do that, you won't be able to login from Site Manager, you will have to go to your admin URL to login if you change the password.

If you're talking about your WA account, you can edit your password in Account Settings under your little profile pic up right top of this screen.

Hope this helps,
Grace

Part of making the hosting at WA secure is by enforcing strong passwords. Even if you create a new user you can't choose your own password.

Thanks Marion was unaware they had updated that feature. Was able to do it in the past.

thanks Marion

WA creates the first log on you can set up a second user call it admin and use that make the password you own easier to remember and log in that way. The old one will still be there and available if things go wrong. A back door as it were. I also use lastpass to remember my codes makes things simpler.

Thank you for the reply.
