Hi Everyone

I have decided to pause my Premium membership for few months until I get back on my feet financially as I only work part time at the moment and I'm struggling

Hello. I'm in similar situation and I was wondering the same. Great that I find some answers here. Wish you all the best!

Check out what Loes said below...she's right on it...

Good morning,

Sorry, I cannot answer your questions. Wish you all the best.

Regards, Taetske

We will certainly miss you, but we all understand the need to keep paying bills.

Mickeyb

Thanks for sharing that, Loes.

I just clicked on this link and it says "oops the blog that you are looking for does not exist." :(

That link is from 4 years ago.

Yes, I am aware. I thought that the blog would still be there...that is if the person who wrote it is still on here. No worries.

Your work will NOT be lost. You will have 30 days to move your sites to another host and your rankings won't be effected.

You can move everything back here once you come back.

I'm not sure you can earn commissions for referrals since you cannot revert back to free membership.

Hi all I've just gone through the Bootcamp Course 6 - the power of PPC and I'm wondering - have any of you ever tried to usse sites like Neobux or similar to actually buy your

I don't have an answer for you, but looks like your moving rite along! Good job!

I am on Neobux all the time (it's running in another tab right now.) I use it just for the cashouts I can get to support my smoking habit!

Ana, you know if you are clicking there that the traffic you can get in not targeted or is is valuable. How many times have you clicked ion the ad space and went to another website while the timer clicked down?

Will it increase your raw clicks? Sure
Will they be recognized by Google as something you really need? NO

Thanks thats a fair point

Petrie has it right!

I haven't used Neobux, but I have run some paid stuff through social. It depends on what your goals are. Unless your building funnels, the paid traffic (in my experience) doesn't convert well. I've had thousands of clicks on some of my affiliate links with very few conversions, but my actual search traffic converts very high so now my primary focus is SEO even though it can be slower.

I have even had online talks with Brandon Gaille of the theblogmillionaire and he shared one of my articles which ended up getting 2200 shares, but no direct conversions. Again, that's just been my experience, but search traffic is 100% the traffic you want (unless you get into paid ads, funnels and lists) but you can spend 1000's really fast doing that and still not get your money back.

Having said, I know how frustrating SEO can be.

I already have some funds on Neobux that's the only reason I'm thinking about it. I don';t really fancy to invest my additional money into my website before I start seeing some conversions, thats why I thought of using an axisting Neobux balance instead, but im worried it might hurt my natural SEO gogle rankings...

Ah, I see. I would definitely go with Kyle's recommendation here. I don't know if my experience with paid traffic hurt my SEO, but I do know it definitely didn't help.

on neobux you have to surf other sites to put you site in the rotator---do you have time to surf sites you're not interested in---

I do it anyway - I've been using Neobus for some time now.. I was just thinking maybe rather than cashout I should reinvest money in directing traffic my way .. But only if it's a good idea, which I dont know yet

I've used some ppc sites in the past including neobux. The most recent and responsive ones I've found for me are adhitz.com and linkgrand.com. I don't know if they hurt my rankings because they were never high in the first place. Now that I'm more aware of what I'm doing, I'll still probably use them once in a while but keep an eye on the SEO at the same time.

As self employed affiliate marketer can you deduct what you pay for WA premium membership from your taxes each year ....as it is obviously training and hosting cost I'd assume

Yes, definitely deductible. I hadn't even thought of this, as I'm barely getting to this year's taxes. While I was in business last year, I wasn't paying for WA. I was deducting my other site hosting from Bluehost, though.

Oh Kay.

Thanks everyone - that's certainly good news.. I'd ask my accountant, but I AM my own accountant so..:)

I am no global tax expert, but certainly, in the US, you could deduct this as a legitimate business expense.

Wayne

I claim it as an expense on my business taxes here in Canada - I'm sure you could do the same - but it's best to check with whom ever does your taxes.

It is deductible as a business expense under US IRS guidelines!

Good advice!

Any business expense you have can be written off against tax. Well that's how it works here in S.A.

You should be able to write off anything having to do with a business expense. Best to call your tax person in your state thought. :-)

You could write or call the tax office and confirm with them.

In the Netherlands you can, for me, it feels logical that you can deduct, you need this for your business, and once you make money, and that amount can grow fast, they demand taxes over your earnings too.

Loes, just curious how this is in the neighborhood. Do they request any sort of proof for what you declare?

I have contacted the IRS in the Netherlands, and they told me that every cost I make for my online business is deductible. I print out everything I earn and spend

Yes, you will need to keep a copy of your receipt / proof of payment.
