About Laparra1

Hi, I am Dutch and have lived in the south of Spain for many years.
I am creative, love animals and nature and, at the age of 70, as I have time on my hands, I thought it a good thing to start something new in my life. I now have 2 websites where I write about the things which interest me.
I will do my best and anticipate being successful in Wealthy Affiliate.

I chose the name La Parra for a reason. In 1981 I bought a, at that time, 150-year-old ruin, like a farmhouse. In front of it was growing a very old Parra=grapevine, I guess it was at least some 100 years old.
15 Years ago, seeing the old Parra was getting weaker, I planted many new ones. To get grapes is nice. Normally the birds are there before me, but it gives shade on the south side. Now the old Parra has died but the new ones are doing well so having shade in the hot summer is now guaranteed.
I have also named my house La Parra.

In April 2018 I made a lovely 2 week trip to Holland. I met 2 ladies of Wealthy Affiliate during these days. Michelle in Antwerpen in Belgium and Loes in Friesland, in the North of Holland. It was so nice to meet them as I had been in contact with them for a long time on Wealthy Affiliate.
You might like to read my WA post on my holiday.

In 2019 we plan to visit the U.S and hope to meet some more friends from Wealthy Affiliate.

With best wishes for all of you. Regards Taetske

Hi Taetske, Thank you so much for following back. I reckon this is the best place where we can learn and increase your exposure on IM. The training and tutorials are top notches and I believe the WA community is the place you want to be with on your journey to build a passive income. [Kelsey]

Thank you for offering me help Steve. When I have a problem mainly with the technical side of the whole I normally ask Mike Lamb who is my" sponsor" so to speak.
I left Holland at the age of 15 1/2 so Holland is a foreign country to me.I do not know if I will remain forever in Spain. In case Europe gets "funny" politically speaking I might consider NZ or Australia.

Hi Dennis,

Oh dear me, me and my English or should I say English and me.
Dr. Amen, who does brain scans warns that the use damages the brain, therefore one should not use it for fun.
I will rewrite : therefore I think one should not use it for fun.

Sorry, regards, Taetske

I am looking forward to seeing the fruits of your virtual creativity!

Comments are great activity in all the search engines algorithms, I think?

Sorry Mike I was so slow with this. When I started with WA I was overwehlmed, and still am, with all the tecnical stuff. Then there were all the Follows, I didnot know what to do with that and wanted to concentrate on the first 10 lessons. Mike told me it would be a good thing to follow back and I listened to his advice.Have a nice weekend.

Regards, Taetske
