I was just trying to install MailerLite on my site and the API key kept failing. I contacted support and they informed me that they will not approve my account because they do

I joined Mailchimp free plan, and the pop-up shows up an error when I tested. Not sure if it's because my niche also promotes WA? - I did read their policy that states:
"we can’t allow businesses that offer these types of services, products, or content:
.
.
.Affiliate marketing"

Guess Mailchimp is not an option for affiliate marketer either?

So is there ANY free autoresponders that can work for those who are in the affiliate marketing niche?

Thx,

Hi!

I use AWeber, which is very easy to use. You can try it out for a month for free.

Hope I could help.

Catherine

Thanks Catherine!

In relation to affiliate marketing, Mailerlite's terms of use are a bit confusing. I got in touch with their support team before applying for my account. They explained that so long as you are promoting relevant offers to your subscribers then you are not in breach of their terms of use. Might be worth contacting support.

Yes, I had the same issue with them. I had subscribed with them on another niche and everything was «ok», but as soon as I tried to register a new website for affiliate marketing I was disapproved. I suggest MailChimp or MadMimi, they both have free accounts...

Hope this helps :)

I am not sure what you are talking about so I can't help sorry

Lol, why comment then?

Cause I figure that way at least you know people are here at least reading and trying.

Hi Hammer11B,

That is strange! I use Mailerlite with ThriveLead and it works perfectly fine. I would contact them and see what is wrong.

Kind Regards,
Eric

Thanks for responding Eric. I was actually thinking of you when I posted this because I remembered that you use this. I was able to connect with support and they said their official policy is that anyone that users affiliate marketing is not eligible to use their platform.

Hello Hammer11B,

This is taken from their Terms of Service:

Affiliate Marketing and Affiliate Links are two different things. Affiliate Marketing is prohibited in MailerLite, but Affiliate Links are fine in most cases.

Affiliate Marketing (Prohibited) - is a type of business where you earn commission by promoting other company’s products. We don’t allow this activity, because there’s no direct relationship between you and your subscribers. You are not allowed to send unrelated offers to your subscribers or pretend to be another brand.

Affiliate Links (Allowed) - is a way to recommend product or service to your subscribers in your campaigns. Advertisement for another company (Affiliate Link) can only appear under your branding and be clearly presented as a special offer from another company. Moreover, the offer has to be related to your content and meet subscriber expectations.

You are not allowed to send emails with links to content that is prohibited in our Terms of Use. Campaigns with blacklisted links will be stopped automatically and we may be forced to close the account permanently.

Kind Regards,
Eric

Sounds like their terminology is confused. I understand they probably don't want "bridge pages" or websites without their own brand who are simply redirects to another.

I don't know what to do with them then. My website and your website are very similar in nature and we promote similar companies. I am going to just look for an alternative auto responder.

I would go with Aweber (:

As I am getting more and more into the fine tunings of my website, I am realizing that I could increase my productivity a lot by having someone helping me out.

Has anyo

Trying to find a business partner is not a cut and dry process, has its complexities.

Business partnership or joint ventures - two or more heads are always better than one. My husband and I have joint ventures in our agri-business (off-line). I tried to look for business partners online from fiverr for an online business but upon laying the WHOLE idea and made a draft for the memorandum of agreement, the guy ask me for funding to buy him a new macbook :(

I think you'd be better off finding someone to do some work (a contractor) rather than make them a partner. You'll never find someone who shares the same vision you have.

I am with Jeannine and Forrest, outsourcing some of the work would be the way I would go.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Good question! I'd like to know too.

I had never thought of it but not sure how it would work with an online business and Affiliate marketing space. Food for thought

You probably don't really need or want an actual partner but, you may want to outsource some of the work when you are ready for it by hiring someone on Upwork or similar site.

Thanks Forrest.

Does any use the affiliate program at Click Bank? I am in the make money online niche and what I am finding at Click Bank is that nearly all their offers are what I would consi

Is there a particular niche you're interested in? If so, you could search for affiliate offers in that niche. As far as ClickBank is concerned, you could see if they offer a product you'd want to buy and test out for yourself. If you liked it, you could create a video review and include your affiliate link. You'd then need to look into ways to get that video in front of your targeted audience. Health and nutrition is big in ClickBank. I don't see their product offers as much different from ones that you find in other places. Neither is the product cost that much more. Most health products that are offer via commissions have a high or moderately high price tag, but if people like the product or think they might like it, they buy it. The products come with a money-back guarantee, so essentially all affiliates are doing is getting the word about the product out there so people can buy it and give it a try. You can also search for feedback on a product beforehand. There are probably quite a few affiliate opportunities in health and nutrition that aren't on ClickBank. Do we have a list somewhere on the hottest niches right now?

Clickbank has some good offers however also a lot of scammy offers
Type into google affiliate program for..... and type in your niche
Also AWIN and loads of other companies offer programs so I am sure you will find a lot of suitable affiliate programs that suit your niche
Go well
Vicki

There isn't really a threshold examining the quality of the products on Clickbank. Yeah, they offer high commissions, but it is often because it's so hard to make a sale. Often you have to spend a fair amount in PPC to sell something, and unless you are good at it, you can spend a fortune and have nothing to show.

I had bad experience with Click Bank I lost money there where they line up their teams and every time you get pushed to someone new you pay without earning from any of them. Here in WA its something else, its has a home and family environment,

Clickbank is great, when you choose the right products. Go by gravity rating, as that shows the better ones. Don't market their prodducts as stand alones, becaue the commission is poor

I use a marketing system, which has the cream of clickbank products attached, complete with sales blurb and find that promoting them this way works, to the extent that you can earn around $1,000 p/month passivey just for clicking a button and sending to the list you are building

Affilorama, Long Tail Pro, Traffic Travis, maybe Internet Jetset, Kindle Money Mastery, are products in Clickbank that are not so bad in my opinion

Those are among the better ones

I think they are legit

Thanks Guy. Ill look into them.

I read the responses of people here, and I can say, it is true that Clickbank is full of crap.

BUT...

There's still hope if you wanna make money with them, as Clickbank is only a "middle man" for online transactions.

It sometimes serve as "marketplace" to list any product that you would like to sell online (digital products), and at the same time, a "payment processor" that handles collecting of payments from customers.

So, still, it's a helpful site.

I remember, some time ago, I purchased an SEO software from a company, SEOpressor, which really a good product, and I discovered that the payment collection is being handled by Clickbank.

With that experience, I realized, if you really want to make money with Clickbank, then what you need to do is find a good product to promote first. Then, see if that product is being handled via Clickbank.

That makes very good sense, thank you.

Good advice Gomer, really good advice

I do, but very, very selective. Most of the stuff there is crap, to say it boldly, and you have to understand that almost all of their offers are sales funnels, In short, they offer teaser prices with their initial offer, followed by a slew of UP and down sells.

PM me if you want my opinion on particular offers

John

Thank you John.

So I created a community on Google+ earlier today. I wanted to use it as a place for followrs to share their latest posts and increase their exposure. Google just sent me an em

Sorry to hear this Nathan, I haven't experienced this with Google+ but I have with Google AdWords! Many years ago I had my Google AdWords account closed, I have no idea why though! They gave no explanation or reason, just closed the account as I had gone against the policies, I have absolutely no idea what I had done!

Roy

I can't help

Okay everybody,

I just wanted to put an update out there to everyone on how this google suspension was going.

Got in touch with them and explained the situation.

They offered me an ultimatum of deleing the community and save my actual profile and account or keep it all for 2 months under a suspension and have it all deleted for reasons unknown.

Needless to say, I have deleted the community but I am still realy P.O.'d that hey wouldn't explain the problem.

Oh Google, how we love to hate you!

Thanks for the update and I agree that is really shitty of Google to be like that.

At least you have to keep your account... that's the good side of it

Right, that would have been a huge blow I have had my personal account there for years and use it as my primary on everything.

They never explain. They're Google.

Practically a cyber monopoly.

Sorry you had to make a sacrifice, but getting to retain any creative or intellectual property with these guys is a win.

Glad you went in the direction I suggested (along with others).

Definitely could've gone worse.

Good luck moving forward and thanx for the update -- I logged on just to check on your status!

Thanks a lot Jace. It is what is, time to move on to bigger stuff.

You are not allowed to post any links to affiliate programs, if you do your account will be deleted.

You can link to your website.

Read their regulations.

Hope this helps.

It's never really funny to receive emails like that... And even harder when you have no idea what they are reproaching you exactly...

Are you posting too often? Putting affiliate links in your posts? Or did you just write posts that were sending people to articles on your site?

One post per day day as advised in the training. No direct affiliate links. All posts and shares are text with a link to their respective articles, not all my own.

I don't see why you get penalized by doing that. I wish things settle for you and turn for the best!

Thanks, I guess we will see what happens.

Sad but true, Google+ is a magnet for spammers. Do you auto accept people into it? Screening is your only hope!

There are only five members right now and they are all people from WA that I trust.

Wow. Once again Google has burped!

It's not really about trust. Very good trustworthy people, if new to marketing or social media, make honest newbie mistakes with affiliate links.

If you do decide to appeal it, I agree with the advice Ingo-Jace gave you. ~Jude

I am not sure what is going on but I know somewhere you might be able to get some answers.
Go to google forum you can email them through there and explain and what was wrong with it.

I am not sure what is wrong here. I don't have any direct affiliate links in my community. Does anyone know how to actually submit the appeal?

I found this online from Goolge's site.

"Appeal a Google+ profile or page suspension
To appeal a suspension of your Google+ profile or page, use a computer to sign in to your suspended account and follow the on-screen instructions. You may be asked to remove or change any content that violates our policies, or to provide more information."

It won't let me post the link here sorry, So I copied and pasted the text here for u.

Carl

I just did a Google search for "appeal google plus suspension" and found that link if u want to know where I found it.

Thanks Carl but I have actually lived in to the about and there is nothing there indicating the appeal. The only place I have seen it is in my email and there is no link there.

Logged into the account*

I really have no idea then, do a search for a way to maybe email them and see if you can find out anything. There might be some info in forums or something. Just search on Google is all I can say, don't know what else to do, sry.

Carl

Is it possible that someone has inadvertently or innocently selected sharing by email with the Public when posting in the community?

Google Plus members, whether in a community or not, do not want to receive emails from Google Plus each time someone posts.

Or perhaps someone has shared the same or similar material that they have already shared in other communities. Google considers sharing the same or similar content across multiple communities to be spam.

Read this and the discussion below it between John Skeats and Julie Wills.

https://plus.google.com/+JohnSkeats/posts/fkWCvpvHZZr

~Jude

And you don't have affiliate links... beats me... I don't know what it could be then....

I did not have this exact situation but I have tangled with Google when it came to Adsense.

They suspended my account and put me into appeal status instantly without warning or reason.

I scrambled and found that most appeals were rejected. I was advised to not even try but to move on to other search engines.

Instead, I listened to my own instincts and explained that I was basically "an old man who did not understand this tech stuff" and that I was sorry for any accidental "invalid" activity.

This actually worked and they reinstated me with a warning and tutorial site link.

Maybe you can try something similar?

Feigning ignorance and speaking respectfully seemed to do the trick.

Also give them lots of details on what YOU THINK went wrong.
Lots and lots of details.

They'll never tell you how you "screwed up" but they appear to like it if you show them you thought seriously on the "why's" and "how's" of the problem.

Hope this helps!

Could it be that you added direct affiliate links into your G+ posts in your community, or you are allowing people in your community to do the same?

My suggestion is to never put direct affiliate links in G+ posts, or allow members in your community to do so.

Links should always point to your website content or a landing page that is not a direct affiliate link. That way, you will never have any issues and you will send traffic to your website from people who are interested in your content, and your community members can do the same.

I would not bother appealing. You don't want to get into a fight with the big G...you can't win...lol.

Go through your posts and edit any affiliate links to point to the relevant content on your website instead.

I believe Nathaniell has a community group in G+. You might consider asking him for tips on moderating communities.

I keep seeing this super affiliate program pop up in posts all over WA. What exactly is this and can anyone join?

Hi,

This was a special group of people that were selected and handpicked by Kyle. The people have been picked for it and it is no longer open for registration.

It might return though in the future, as it is a new project of Kyle which could bring new functionality to WA in the future.

For now, you could join the GoGetter's Group of Botipton:
