I have installed the Revive Old Post plugin but it is not able to share. After a week of being back and forth with ROP IT and WA IT, it's getting nowhere. Looks like the issue
You can do that manually if you are looking to revive some old posts of yours. Also you can edit all except change the URL, if the url changes to Google it would be a new post, any ranking that has been done would be lost.
Or is related to

?
You can use sassy social, add to any, grow social or social rocket as althernatives.
Can't make revive old post plugin to work?

You are far better off reviving old posts by adding fresh content and focusing on keyword density. You can change the slug if the post hasn't been indexed. Use GSC to check.

I created a dozen of web stories over the last couple of days, but when I tried to submit the URLs to Search Console, it gave me an error message "During live testing, indexing
Hmmm ... that's odd.
I always submit my posts' URL to the Google Search console for URL inspection and indexing.
did you click on view tested page
then go through the screenshot and more info to get more information about the errors...
Google works on Google time however you can always request indexing via inspection tool GSC.
I would refresh and try again.
You may like reach out to site support check if your website is okay

when I opened the "View Live Test" here's the screen shot, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything as I am new to web stories
It was only been re-submitted successfully on Jun 1st. When I ran the inspection, it gave me this error - 404. Is this a server-related issue?

I'm just about to install a plug-in but had a note that it requires PHP 7.2.24 or higher. How do I upgrade?
You can contact Site Support to see if they are running that version of PHP because WA support handles the PHP updates by server. Tell them what your Plugin is rfequiring.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
Reading your notes below, you should be okay moving on to the next server. What is more important, is then you are able to run your plugin | program I would do it, no implications here.
I hope this helps.
Unfortunately, WA doesn't give you access to a cPanel where you could upgrade php for your site. Site Support may be able to switch you to a server with a later version. Click on Help then Site Support. Select your website and explain your issue.
Yes, I've just offered to move to the new server. What's the risk? will I lose anything? guess I just don't know what I don't know.
No, there's no risk. The fact that your website is being hosted on a different server will be completely transparent.
You may reach out to site support going forward.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
If it can be done, they'll let you know.
haha, got it as in I'm putting an IT tix in but have not heard back from them yet. I need this for my web stories.
Site support folks are the ones who can, there's little we can do from here. However, I hope you get it resolved sooner.

No it is not a problem to do a site refresh (button)
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites
You will need to manually click the button.
You may also try clear servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache
Thanks for that. When I cleared the cache in WordPress (under WP rocket plugin), i got the images showing. Do you think the SiteSpeed here is in conflict with WP rocket? Also the images is still not showing on my mobile version... any idea how to fix that?

My mobile site speed is VERY low (40s). One of the biggest issues was "serve images in nextgen formats". What's the best way to fix that?
Hi Chloe
I use a plugin called Optimole for this.
It takes your images, turns them into WebP then goes one step further ... it uses a CDN service to deliver the images when someone visits your site. There is a free version (that I use).
:-)
Richard
I noticed Imagify is a WordPress image optimization plugin created by the folks behind WP Rocket, the best WordPress caching plugin. It allows you to easily optimize and convert images to WebP image format.
BUT when installing Imagify the following error message appears.
The following plugin Kraken Image Optimizer is not compatible with this plugin and may cause unexpected results
So that one will not work since WA uses Kraken image optimizer
Hi George,
Could you not deactivate the Kraken Image Optimizer and use Imagify instead?
Still learning mate.
Mark
You would need to talk site support regarding that because it is a standard plugin they put on all new sites.
Hey Chloe,
The easiest way is to install a plugin.
Something that converts images to WebP format is probably best, as it is estimated that around 95% of internet users use a browser that supports WebP.
If you go to your "Plugins" section and just search "WebP" you'll see the various options.
Personally, I use premium plugins for speed and image optimiation - WP Rocket and Imagify.
Partha
Ah thank you, I'm just installing Imagify to convert, but running into a bit of prob.... I'm not seeing the last step under Setting->Media... any idea?
never mind, figured it out. I clicked Save instead of Save and bulk convert. Let's see how this can improve my mob. speed score. Thanks Partha!
Hey Partha its been awhile since i annoyed you LOL... Quick one on Imagify... Should we be using this over Kraken? Or are they two seperate things?
Good, please to hear you sorted it out.
For me, WP Rocket has made all the difference (99-100 on both Desktop and Mobile permanently, and I have WA sitespeed turned OFF).
However, Imagify has helped a great deal too.
Partha
Oooohhhhh Mark,
I have to be careful what I say here, LOLOL.
I know WA loves their Kraken.
So, let me do it in a way that you and I will understand, but will completely go over most people's heads (and obviously, my normal disclaimer - "This is merely my personal opinion, so that doesn't mean that it's right or wrong" Hahaha).
Comparing Great Batsmen:
Monty Panesar - Kraken
Steve Smith - Imagify
Nuff said!!!
Hahahaha
Partha
p.s. if you go to YouTube and search Imagify vs Kraken I think Nicholas's video from a few years ago in somewhere in the top few results.
Imagify it is then my good mate! I mean if its good enough for Steve nuff said Lol.. Cheers Partha.
