Is anyone having issues with creating their website? Are the tools not sufficient? The website you have does not look like the template that was display?

Are you going in from the outside to view it? When I click on the site name in tiny letters at the very top it says view site, click there and when it displays mine looks just like the template but it doesn't from on the inside.
I think experimentation is the name of the game.
If you want to have the edit window look like the finished version you will have to change some of the stylesheet code - not necessarily easy.
Easier is to just keep previewing your page and changing stuff around until you find what you like (or change theme). Glyn
Has been ok for me so far. Wide variety of templates and a wide variety of options (widgets) to choose from. Your site does not need to look exactly like the example. Nothing wrong with your site being unique. I'm keeping my 1st site plain, simple, and to the point. You, as the creator, may make many of your own decisions about how your site will be/look/function. Good luck.
You will have to try many to find the right one! Haha I remember pulling out my hair over this same issue!
Wordpress wants you to upgrade to a premium version so you can customise the look exactly like them..I just learnt that yesterday in my chosen template. Free version is limited.
You have to go to the widget to choose what you want to customise. Many are plain to begin with. After adding more widgets, your site will look better.
I was having font issues but i just added the "google advance" plugin and it helped tremendously! The picture input on the other hand I am still trying to figure that out haha
Yeah, I do, I think the tools are not sufficient .It's kind of frustrating. I learned some html and css a long time ago, but I'm not expert enough .
I'm going to go back to the online lessons to really learn how to make my own site. It's a french site .

You're right. There were times I faced this issue, so after a few tries, I just change to other themes. No choice as I'm not clever with all these stuffs. All the best. Happy working!

How and where do you promote your Wealthy Affiliate links? How do I find new affiliate?
Hi: You can do this by using your own website. One way to find a new affiliate network/program is to use google. Think of niche + affiliate network/program
The best way I've learned to promote links is through my website.
that's what we are here for, to learn how to generate an income through our websites. :)
Still how do you drive traffic to a website when the niche is affiliate marketing. Most marketing forums, blogs and communities are already flooded with WA links already.
In this case the niche has to be different to work :) Thanks for the message
You pick low hanging fruit keywords, that get you ranking on the first page of Google. Kyle shows you how! all you have to do is follow the training that WA provides.
You have all been such a wealth of information and inspiration. Thanks for the answers. They are very much appreciated.
Hi. Through my own personal experience, unless you have a load of FB followers its a dead end. But the one way I have found to be the best is through joining the Groups. Choose some groups relevant to your niche/product etc etc and because the groups can be several thousand strong any links you give in your ADs are passed around. Its a snowball effect kinda thing. It does take a wee while to start getting results but its worth it.
Robert
Groups seems to be the consensus with all out you so it must be true :)
I will do the rounds FB, G+, Twitter and even Yahoo Groups. Social may be the only way.
Thanks for you reply.
Setup a facebook page or a new facebook account just to promote WA or your other affiliate links and business marketing. You can do the same on Google+, Twitter or any other social network.
Darren
I already did a new twitter but it's taking time to build the traffic and get followers this is like a 30 plan.
Are you doing your promo on facebook and how it that working out for you?
I've had a couple of links on FB, TW and G+ haven't pushed them as my main concern and focus at this stage is like you traffic.
I built 500 followers in two weeks. I don't think that's bad. Twitter is a great resource. Be persistent and build your brand.
I posted a "Hey you guys! Look at what I've learned!" post on Facebook awhile back. I got some comments, but no one joined. I am hesitant to do it too often, because I don't want my friends and family to think I just want to sell to them.
Haha I hear that. I think twitter hashtags may be the way to go or other affiliate communities. Still working on what to do.
So far I haven't gotten too involved with Twitter. I have an account, but don't use it. Will have to try that one.
Sorry that happened but it happens to a lot of us. Funny thing about Facebook? I watched the video and Kyle was correct in asking are you using your time wisely or socializing on Facebook. Even you friends will not click and see your site they simply click the like button because they are your friends. You can offer something really good but they have their own interest and it is usually about THEM. I am not being critical I am simply being honest. I am going to spend my time where I feel it make a difference. Here is a suggestion for you. Go to your Facebook page and see how many LIKES you get compared to Comments you get? You will see what is really happening.
I have recently discovered and joined multiple groups. I love how you can choose which group to share something with, that doesn't go out to all of your friends and family as well.
Plus many groups have thousands of members, so you can actually use a list of people that have signed up because they are interested in your topic already! I made a sale recently from something I posted my affiliate link to when I answered a question in a group discussion!
It works!
That is so true. The only time I get comments is if I am talking about Star Wars, Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica (my friends are all grown men, but act like children)
I posting my affiliate link and nothing. Then I posted an update about a new actress for the upcoming Star Wars and more comments than likes.
Based on your logic Mr Cunningham, maybe my niche should be memorabilia I would sell out for sure.
Still no ideas for my WA links :(

I post ads on craislist all the time, but when I post my link to Wealthy Affiliates it gets removed. Is anyone else having this issue?
You could post a deal to have them leave their email with you and you could send them an email with a link to follow.
What section are you posting in? Even if they don't get deleted craigslist is so full of garbage and scams that I'd be surprised if you get much from there.
I post under the jobs (sales) to earn when you promote WA and the small biz section.
I also promote free web hosting and that one works at least for now. I thing I'll stick to social media.
That's the problem. Under jobs most people are going to skip right over it or report you because they'll assume it's a scam.
Anyone can send a complaint ticket and you will be removed. My daughter in-law sells puppies on there and every so often someone had her pics removed
Personally... I have a sinking feeling about Craig's list.
I would not go there.. better off with social media.
Just my opinion
Will do, it's just that I wanted multiple mediums. Do you do any other forms of promo besides social media?
word of mouth, beat pavement fora few minutes; i use The Power of Exponential exposure. I discuss it on my site. i invented that one
I have used http://l1nk.com/ to mask the link with some success, easy to use and its free.
Darren
Yes, I was told that they don't let links be advertised. So the reader will have to copy and paste it.

Is there anyone here working in the casino affiliate niche? I am still trying to find a good one.
I think https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bingopauls is a bit in that direction, put casino in the questionbar, perhaps you find related people
I'm not, but you could review online gambling sites.. and have affiliate links to them. I see plenty of advertisers in the affiliate programs I am a member of.
Or have I missed your point?

I am building an online school and youtube channel and wanted to know if there is anyone else in the children's education niche on this community?
I started a website for an online school - preK to grade 8.
I wanted to find someone who have worked in this niche to help me with what to stay away from as products and if you knew any good drop-shipper for educational products.
I goggled it but I never know what to trust.
