Image size and compression are two separate issues. Obviously we want the keep the image size as small as is practical because this directly affects the file size which in turn affects load times. Compression is more related to the format you choose to save the file in eg. .jpg, .png and so forth. jpeg format is the most commonly used file format for the web and is considered a lossy compression. This means that it discards information deemed to be unnecessary as the human eye will not see the difference anyway. My suggestion is as you save your images, use some sort of pixel manipulation software that allows you to save the image as a .jpg and allows you to optimize for the web and also set the quality level which in turn sets the compression level. Experiment with this to find the lowest quality but still leaves your images acceptable for viewing, doing this and keeping your image size as small as possible will increase load times significantly. I hope this helps.

Hi GBarber77, thank you for your detailed explanation. It helps me to understand better. I have also done some readings yesterday to get a better idea!

I was thinking would it be better just to have strictly one category only for my post or it doesn't really matter how many category I have ticked for a post? Thank you.

Thank you for all your replies. I feel better to go ahead with 2 categories if necessary! Have a good day!

It doesn't really matter. On average, all of my posts are in 2 sometimes 3 categories.

It is of such little importance it doesn't really matter

I always choose one category. I don't think it's so important.

Will google penalise one post two category for duplication?

The GA in my siterubix account cannot exclude my own IP address and my spam referral address and it is still tracking them now although I am quite sure I have put the filter correc

I have one GA and 5 sites added dot com and site rubix, and have no problems at all with it, my own visits are on all excluded,
I followed this instuctions

Hi Loes,

I used the same video above as well but I m having probleM.

Thank you.

Have to thank you too, I just realized I changed computer with my husband, So I went through the video again, blocking his IP too:)

Haha... That was a coincident help but at least you realize in time! :)

Is this problem that you're encountering just recent? Or it has been a while?

I have experienced this problem for the past 3 days immediately after have installed my GA in my siterubix site. For my personal domain, i have installed GA 3 weeks ago but no problem to exclude the tracking.

Maybe because it's siterubix which will be a problem in installing GA. That's what I think. Perhaps you can ask Kyle to help you out by sending a message in private.

Ok... Thank you... I was thinking the same line maybe it is the problem with siterubix since I did not have the problem with the other website.

I have tried but it seems like I can only insert 1 image at a time? The second image will shift down below the first image. I want the 2 photos side by side individually. Is it

Hi Shirline, I wrote a tutorial for that, Keep text and pictures next to eachother, have a nice day:)

Hi Loes,

Thank you once again for helping me!! Really appreciate!! I will look at it! Have a nice day too!

Hello Spaceymoon. Well what you could do is use tables. Let's say a 1X2 Table. Insert the first image in row1/column1 and then insert second image in row1/column2.

Option 1 - You can install the plugin "TablePress". It's a very easy plugin to use. Visit my blog page to see how to do this.
Using Tables in WordPress

Option 2 - You can use the

tag, but you will have to know HTML in order to use it. The advantage of this is you wouldn't have use a plugin.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Thank you very much CCJ! I will study your blog page!

ok, you're welcome.

Thank you for the post
