Hey,
I am currently having one blog, smarttvworld.com.
I realised that it is a relatively small niche, but i felt like i should target a little broader niche and which is

I am up for it

Hey it would be great to have you, please join http://slack.com and join the http://wealthyaffiliateteam.slack.com team. We can chat up there and discuss how to go forward.

Please leave your email id here, i will send you an invite to join slack team.

Hey it would be great to have you, please join slack.com and join the wealthyaffiliateteam.slack.com team. We can chat up there and discuss how to go forward.

Great idea Sanket. People just need to have the time and energy yo commit!

Hey
Would you like to join in ?

I have the same problem I stated!

Regardless of your decision, join slack and add the http://wealthyaffiliateteam.slack.com workspace , so people can chat and discuss things

For now I don't think it will work for me, because my own websites already demand a lot of time and attention. I also want to be part of the whole WA community, not just a small group. This is only my thoughts...

No issues, if you decide to give it a try, please join slack , and add this workspace wealthyaffiliateteam.slack.com. This will help for people to connect more easily and discuss the further course of action

Could be interested.

Today while surfing i came across a tool called seo checker. You basically feed the link of your post to the checker and then it basically tells if your post is seo optimized o

Thanks for the information, I will be trying it out.

Just check, score 76 still much to improve. Thanks Sanket

This is a really good one as well...
https://neilpatel.com/seo-analyzer/

I have used this several times Sanket and I enjoy it very much!! I will continue its use.

T

Terrific. It's a great tool! https://seositecheckup.com/

Between the link you gave and the Neil Patel one, fully cover everything. Your link covers a lot more keyword based as where Neil Patels are more links and optimization based. They both share similar errors but yours found more. The overall score was within 2.5% with yours giving the higher rank, so tonight is going to be about following their advice and recommendations and see where I am afterward. This is why I love this community as just through this thread I have discovered a tool to double check my makings to fully optimize my site. Watch for the morning update. I am so excited as I had a computer crash and I lost all my tools I had researched and were ready to use, neither of these was in my findings and I think both are better than what I had previously found. Yeah for WA!!

Terrific!

Hey Sanket,

Soooo ... this online tool worked for you then ... great stuff!

Hey
I had submitted my website for a website review here on WA.
I received a feedback from a member in which she said that she could not see any keywords in the content w

Here is some advice to consider! http://www.vabulous.com/how-to-target-and-rank-high-for-low-competion-keywords/

I put keyword in the title and then in the first paragraph only as that is what Kyle taught us.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

I put my keywords in several places.

I put my keyword in my title, url and meta description. Then I try to incorporate it in the the first paragraph very naturally, in the middle somewhere and at the end. I also include the keyword as alt text in my pictures.

How to add keywords in meta description ? Has that been covered in the course

Yes it's been covered in the course. Go to dashboard, All in One SEO, settings. Under general settings, scroll down to Home Title and Home Description. Also known as meta title and meta description. In both I put my keyword.
Hope this will help

I would follow suggestions by Kyle. But use the keyword also in the image file name. "write a free flowing article without actually focussing on the keywords." I assume you add them as suggested in lessons, otherwise you will be wasting your time. Ranking is hard even with targetted keywords, without them it is pointless.

Ey Jovo, is that just in the first image or each and every image?

I use keywords in every image file name, if not targeted then some alternative. The point is to make it descriptive.

Excellent info, Jovo, thanks so much!

At the moment I have not, perhaps that is the reason my site is having low traffic .

If your site is new, it is better to make use of low hanging keywords and then write it in a free-flowing manner. It will help your articles/site get noticed on SERPs and ranked.

With the regular posting of articles and use of keywords, your site will gain traction as trust improves with search engines.

Once your site has reached some level of authority over time even if you don't use keywords, your articles may get ranked easily.

I would not bet on "ranking without keywords easily". Show me some examples please.

Title and somewhere within the 1st paragraph and if I can modify the keyword in some way to be something else then I might be tempted to add it 1/2 times.

Robert did some training where he shows you how he has managed to rank in Google without a keyword. Mick

Hey, Sanket, I actually do what you are doing here as well i.e. Keywords in the title followed with 2 - 3 uses of the keywords in the first paragraph.

After that I do write a free flowing article however, I do actually try to use the keyword [naturally, without forcing it] throughout the article.

I guess note to self here is that there are other things that all work together - internal links (I had a few articles without them), external links and backlinks (social sharing e.g. G+, FB, T, P). I'm sure there are a whole lot more to add but that's a start!

Thanks for asking
Gary

"with 2 - 3 uses of the keywords in the first paragraph."

This is a serious overkill. I think you should see a video by Matt Cutts from Google to realize how bad this is.This is a recipe for failure.

Kyle has never suggested doing this.

Thanks! I'll take another look at what I'm doing.

Hey
I am in the process of writing ebooks, i wanted to know if anyone here has any experience with writing ebooks on kindle and earning money. If anyone can guide me to tuto

My ebooks don't sell on Amazon's Kindle but they do on other platforms. I'm not sure why. I used to think it would be the other way round. I use D2D ( https://www.draft2digital.com/author ) and they list my book on Scribd, iTunes, Tolino, Kobo, 24 Symbols, Barnes & Noble, and Inktera for free. Most of my sales (approx. 90% come from Scribd, though).

I have. Not a lot of money but this is what I did. I wrote a kindle book, just to learn how to format etc. I published it on amazon, put together a site rubix website with a few posts, then moved on. I have sold about 15 books, with zero promotion. I am hoping to get to actually promoting it at some point, since promotion is the key ingredient.

Kindle is a leading springboard for making money with eBooks. Go for it!

Hey Sanket,

The following Google search result for "creating ebooks" (without the quotation marks, of course) may help you: http://bit.ly/2y2UHZI

Yes, I have. I did a lot of research online to learn and am now developing a new series. Some folks to check out are "Sterling and Stone" and Joanna Penn. Amazon also offers training for their own platform that is worth checking out. I don't know if you're doing fiction or nonfiction but there are plenty of resources for both.

i am planning to write short non fiction books, i am checking out the resources you have mentioned. Thank you

Ok, check out Nina Amir or Steve Scott then.

One of the secrets to success is to write a series of books and link from one to the other inside the book.
An example would be
Book 1 sleep deprivation.
Book 2 Natural remedies for a better nights Sleep.
Book 3 Sleep apnea
Book 4 Relaxtion techniques for a better sleep
You should have about 6 in a series

I have written a few e-book's under the name of James Dolittle is half a dozen on Amazon and for more at smashwords, to get to the point of your question, my smashwords efforts have actually earnt me $17.50 and my Amazon rewards to date, although there were three entries on my bank account last month, the total was about $3.50, so I think the answer is "good try, could do better"
