Just wondering what QSR is best in todays world of ranking quickly?
To answer your question, 300 QSR but that is not with searches being high. The real tool is jaaxy and if it has a green light it is a go. A green light with lower numbers is the best OSR to go with. Say 200 QSR and 50 to100 searches is better. the higher the searches with low QSR is what I look for.
Finding keywords with low QSR and high searches is the best, that is hard to do. If you can it may be a home run.

If you find KWs with 300 to 1000 searches and an QSR under 100 it should be a gold mine, but I would try to find out if the KW are the right kind. There may be a reason why they look great and not a good one. LOL
I personally only write for keywords under 200 and I will spend extra time to look for less than 100.
Steve do you have a minimum in search volume that you like to see when searching for a QSR of 200 or below? Thanks for the help
I've had more success by using 200 and below, normally 150ish, with no less then 15 searches in this area.
I tried the 300. and was not getting first page results. Of course it depends on how busy your niche is as well, I am sure. That and about 16 other things that come into play! lol

Let me just add one thing - spoke to Kyle about this - yes below 300 QSR is best and of course the lower the better.
But when it comes to the lights I had a question.
I could find keywords below 300 but sometimes I would get a yellow light. So I asked Kyle. Is this still a good keyword it's below 300 but it has a yellow light?
He said don't worry about the light color being yellow if the QSR is below 300 it's still a good keyword.

Yeah I usually shoot for 50 or more per month for both search and traffic. But I really don't worry about it to much, because everything adds up.

No idea, sorry but over here if we are searching google for a keyword the usual trick is to put "UK" after the keyword. Example, "shoes for sale UK".
Yea I get the trick, but that's going to show you actual keywords with the word "UK" on the end and their traffic, not keywords without the word UK on the end that were searched for from the UK.
Interesting to note that Jaaxy doesn't have the ability to filter by region. Seems like a big negative point to me.

But wouldn't it be more lucrative to promote a product or service that is going to appeal to a worldwide audience?
Not necessarily. Sometimes being able to laser-target a specific audience will in fact increase conversions even if the overall traffic is lower than the global value. Furthermore, targeting local keywords is often far less effort in terms of SEO to rank for.
