Apple Has Announced The Addition For Latin American Affiliate Programs
This will add some new earning opportunities for our friends in South and Central America.
Is there a way to get domain extensions for these country's or are the .com .org and .net the best way to reach the citizens in South/Central American's?

If anyone is interested in affiliating iTunes, the details for PHG and TradeDoubler are listed here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/resources/ Rich.
I wouldn't go by that America Registry price list. For example, they quote $107 for a Spanish .es domain but Namecheap sells them for less than $9. Rich.
@RICH .es domains are in Spain (as in, Europe, not South America). If your point is that the site I sent as an example is relatively expensive, then perhaps that's true, however nonetheless S.American domains ARE expensive in general. Here's another registrar of S.American domains: http://www.101domain.com/domain-availability-search.htm.
Obviously if you keep digging around you can probably find one TLD cheaper at one registrar vs another - goes without saying in a free market. I was merely pointing out the pricing in general.
I 100% agree, I was merely saying that specific list was outrageously expensive, ie. many of their prices are ten times what the official registrars and others are selling them for. It's also true that many countries are often using their extensions in a way that wasn't intended ie. .co (Columbia as "company") .tv (Tuvalu Islands as "television") .ly (Libya as "url shorteners") etc. and leveraging this as a cash cow. Rich.
.co is Columbia, and just about every1's selling those now. They're all VERY expensive though. Check this out: http://www.americaregistry.com/domain-names/domains-search.htm

Thank you Ronny for the information on your post. These informative posts such as yours usually follows with more valuable information, such as @RICH's comment. I visited Apple site and my understanding is that on regular Apple products they offer a 2% commission on their affiliate program. I have been a big fan of Apple for years.
