Quick question if you know.

I have to contact my paid theme developer, and they want to know the name of my hosting company - do you know? I know it wouldn't be called W

good question and very helpful answer. Thank you

Thanks Dee!
... glad it helped

Thank you for the information :)

Thanks Marek!
... I needed to find that out to deal with my "situation", so I'm glad it helped.

A registrar. WA is a reseller for http://Enom.com

Yup - got that
... thanks Chris!

(I'll add the "registrar" above)

You are very welcome.

Hey Joanne,

Why would ANY theme developer need to know the NAME of your hosting company?

Sounds very suspicious to me ... unless you've misunderstood what they are asking for.

Might theme developer have asked you for your WP login or FTP access information?

It's typical for them to ask. If they are going to help me solve my problem they will need that and more!

There is a problem with an image basic to the theme that I think got deleted, and it's preventing my SSL on the front page.

Turning gray quickly - but all will get fixed sooner or later.
Right now, I'm in "limbo".

Well than Joanne, Thank YOU for teaching me something new today! :-)

I learn something new every day too!
... there's so much to remember

I'm surprised it's not called WA Hosting because that's what the DNS info is:

Primary: ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: ns2.mywahosting.com

I used that to point my site to WA when 1&1 hosted, but last week I actually moved the site to WA in it's entirety.

Okay, cool. Looks like Loes has the answer, and good for me to know too, thanks!

Enom?

Isn't it an Amazon service?

You are correct Loes - thanks!
... just added that above :)

I think it's Amazon Web Services.

I think they use the Amazon service for things Geoff, but can't remember specifically. But hosting is ENOM.

Are you sure?

Not really sure how ENOM and Amazon Web Services actually work together though Marcus. I know WA uses it, but I'm clueless.

Enom is Nome backwards. Whether that means anything, I'm not sure.

Positive Marcus!
Did the "look-up" myself, and also heard back from Support as well. ENOM it is!

Hahaha - I could use some humor right about now.
Thanks Marcus!

No it's not. It's mone. Just missing the y. :)

So I was right:))

@Gmegs: I saw Enom mentioned when I did a lookup, but somehow didn't believe it because I thought they used AWS. I wondered if maybe it was just a random word someone put in there, like "Glubble" or "Flobber".

@Stadnykgeoff: Just testing you, honest! ;-)

@Loes: Yes you were. Pat yourself of the back and give yourself a handshake ;-)
