Hi Edwin - I'm sorry this happened to you.

There have been some recent changes to the Site Comments platform, which has resulted in many users being disabled from using it.

Kyle blogged about it here: It doesn't look as though there's an avenue for appeal, but it doesn't hurt to request one from Kyle.

-Laurie

Thanks Laurie

Hi - only Kyle can reverse your ban. You need to contact him directly to explain the situation. You can also use the following thread for comments.

Thanks Diane.

It was due today and I cannot find it on my PC, as I have been out all day was alitle conceerned.

Hey Stuart, it looks like it's not out yet, I am sure when it is released it will be here: Blessings

- Kimberleigh

Did sort of think that, just did not want to miss it when it came out, many thanks for replying.

Stuart

I'm in the process of just content writing atm and waiting.

Sounds like a plan.

going on last years - it is not quite as regimented as the RAF..
so a few days here or there won't make much difference, they tended to be plus a few days.
so be patient and maybe create a few extra pieces of content while you are waiting.
good luck
phil

Thanks Phil, who said that the RAF were regimented?
Stuart

ok...so more like organised chaos - but giving the appearance of knowing what they are doing.
Have fun

WE Did. lol.

I was wondering the same thing! It's been a while since I've seen anything.

How do I like one post to another in the same web site, so that I can refer to it.?

Good morning again, I'm sorry I just realized what you're trying to do, it is training on this , and what's happening on my website after one reads a article at the bottom it will have 1 2 3 4 and it goes to another page when the prospective client pushes one of those numbers. Don't worry it's really simple to do go to the training and you'll have it together in seconds.

There is absolutely some training to do this, however I don't understand why, it's not that much of a hassle to manually do it yourself. May you have a beautiful weekend.

Hey Edwin,

Here's Kyle's training on doing this: Hope you find this helpful.

Hey Stuart, when you are in the article you have just written, you can pick a word or group of words you want to link back to, and highlight the word(s) and create a link, then when it asks you for the link you want it to link to, put in the address of the article you want to link it to.

Go back to the article you want to link it to and look in the browser and copy the link of the article you are finding the link for and paste it into the link bar of the link you just made.

It may be a little confusing at first. Let me know if you have further trouble.

Danny

A little confused as an external link normally has code to paste to the site I want it on, do not have this code on my site or do I.

Thanks Steve , now understand.
Stuart

Hi Stuart, Like Steve said, it's the same process as creating an external link. When you click on the hyperlink symbol the 'add link' box appears, choose which website you are on and it should drop a list of your posts down..find the one you want and click on it. It will also give you the option to add text. Hope this helps also:

Thank you so much, this makes it a lot clearer, assume that when I am on the post which I wish to cross link, as usual highlight my word or phrase and theN do as you directed?
STUART

Absolutely correct, yes. Glad this helps.

Is there a limit to the number of Affiliate links that you can have on a blog post or website?

Hi Edwin!
I remember from the training that up to 5 are fine. I have up to 6 or even seven in my longer posts about 2000-3000 words.
Aloha, Jenna

Thanks Jenna, most useful.
Stuart

My pleasure, Stuart!
Aloha, Jenna

I've been doing at least 3 on one post. Speaking of that, I have to get back into that. I'm going to work soon.

Cheers Mate.

Depends on the length of your post. I generally allow one affiliate link approximately every 400 words.

Very helpful, thanks.

good question, waiting to see the answer of some of the ambassadors ..... Because apparently, we can not self promote yourself here on a post with a link... so let see ....
have a good day

So far we have just been doing two maximum.
C & P

Many thanks.

Well, in the past, pre-WA, I have done some posts that had more than the numbers people have given here, and some of those posts have done well while others have sunk like a rock. My takeaway? It really depends on the topic.

Many thanks.

Google frowns upon websites which have "too many" links. But what Google considers to be too many is a bit subjective.

Google's algorithm treats a post/page with what it deems too many to be a link farm. No bueno.

What actually qualifies as too many really depends on the length and topic of the text.

As I said, it's subjective, but in my opinion in, say, a 1000-word post, 3 or 4 would be the absolute max.

May SEO bless us all!
Joe

Thanks Joe,
Stuart

I do about 3 for every 1000 words, most of my posts are indexed within 12 hours. I would also make sure you have at least one or 2 internal links in there that point to other posts also. Shows google quality content not just trying to sell something.

Most useful, many thanks.

For me, personally, two affiliate links are the maximum

- Google thinks you spamming if you have too much on your post

Hence the Question, many thanks.

There's not a cut and dry answer... A good rule-of-thumb is 1 for everyone 500 words, max.

Makes sense.
