As Affiliate Marketers we often need to add different types of links into our content. Sometimes links are plain links that could be used directly in a browser and other times we are given links that can only be shown when placed into a webpage.
The easiest way to distinguish one type from the other is in the code you see. A link starting in http: or https: is one that can be pasted in a browser and take you directly to the site and page.
Ones that start with other code such as <div or <script is a type of link that is designed to be used on your webpage and can only be shown when someone comes to that page in a browser.
The first type of link can be easily added via a link using the WYSIWYG editor in WA or the Wordpress Editor.
The second needs to be added via text mode and can only be added in the Wordpress Editor.
This Video gives you a example of how to add each type.
Note: It is important that when adding the second type of link that you copied all of the code. If only a portion of code is copied then it will break the HTML of your page and show weird results.
