Just wondering if it's even worth me writing an article using a keyword with a QSR of 53....

Hey Nicholas,

They sure ARE! When in doubt, you can easily check it out... see screen print below.

great advice below

QSR is a misleading parameter. Check the true competition without quotes and you will have your answer.

But most likely this is too competitive and you will not rank with it. Keep it lower.

Yes you got some good advise here.

I use QSR as a starting point then look at the traffic for example

QSR 53 but traffic is 0 = NO GOOD

QSR 53 but traffic is 100 = WE ARE GOOD TO GO

I hope this helps

Jennifer

Thank you I am learning something from the training.lol

There are other things to consider and not only on qsr. How bout potential traffic? Low qsr but no to little potential traffic would not a good keyword to go for.

My 5cent.

:)

Are keywords with a qsr of 53 actually good enough to use?

Wondering if I should make my homepage my about me or should I just make a whole new one? And how would I go about making it static so that it's the same every time someone goe

No. Make your home page about your site and your about me about you. Don't confuse the two. Each has a different purpose and putting your "about me" info on your home page seriously looks very amateurish, especially to merchants.

You can make it "about me" if you want. I've seen many people do that. It introduces you to the reader and establishes your brand/trust right away.

It's up to you! This is something you can also test later on, to see what type of home page converts better.

Thanks for the advice. Your right, I can always test it down the road and see where it goes. Hope all's well with ya!

Hey Nicholas,

Your home page should be about your niche... so if your niche is you, then perhaps you wouldn't need an About page.

Blog roll is what has been recommended that we start with... which is what WordPress is setup to display as by default when we first create our website.

However, some niches find static pages better. See screen print below to find the many discussions on the two choices... along with tutorials on how you can switch from blog roll to static page, if you so wish.

You can also search for "static homepage" (without the quotation marks, of course) in the Search textbox here, and you will see even MORE information.

Hope you find this helpful.

Ok thanks you for the info! Really appreciate your time!

I mean when i'm doing a review of a product from their site. Can I save an image of said product and then put it into my article without getting in trouble? And also, do I need

The short of it is yes you can. But...You can't just save as images off of Amazon and then upload them yourself.

You basically need to use the Amazon API called SiteStripe to insert calls to Amazon to load images. If you save as or screenshot images right off Amazon they can boot you from their program.

I created this training recently to show hot to do it:

Hey Nicholas,

You may find the following tutorial VERY helpful:

I use pictures, but I also link the pictures to the amazon.ca website, as well as in a word link.

I would post a disclaimer, I spoke to Kyle this morning and he said you should.

When you review an Amazon product on your site, you can only use certain pictures and you are not allowed to just save any of their product pictures and publish it. You need to make sure you use their picture code for the relevant product which is generated when you click on the 'Get Link' button. If you just copy a picture from their site, they may terminate your account.

Yes you are able to use images. But you need to review there policies on it. I don't remember if there were any limitations on usage that's why I say that.

So my bill is due on the 29th of this month but I don't get paid until the first. Was wondering what will happen if I can't pay my bill until the 1st? Will my website and every

There's a grace period of a few days, plus, they keep site live for 30 days after you cancel (in case you want to come back!).

So in your case, you'll be totally fine. If it happens each month, you may want to talk to Kyle about changing your billing date so you don't receive "are you sure you want to cancel" notifications each month!

Don't worry. You get a grace period of about 5 or 10 days (I forget). If you don't pay within that time frame, you don't get access to WA - but your sites will still be active when you re-subscribe, with everything just as you left it.

Ok thank you. Yea I was wondering if there was a grace period. Thank you for the response! Greatly appreciate it!

Hmm I think you won’t be able to access your site, but it shouldn’t be deleted till 30 days. Idk... also remember it’s automatic billing unless you cancel I believe.

Yea definitely haven't cancelled and don't want to. I just don't know if I'll have the 49$ in my account untill the 1st of August.
