Hey MoneyMagnet3,
Great question! If you’re dealing with products that sell out quickly, using an eCommerce platform like WooCommerce (which integrates well with WordPress) could be really beneficial. It provides better inventory management and allows you to automatically update product availability, which can help prevent users from landing on pages with out-of-stock items.
As for using the FTP of the manufacturer’s products, that could work if they offer updated inventory data. Integrating their product feed directly into your site could save time and ensure that your listings are always up to date. Just make sure that the feed is compatible with your site’s setup.
Ultimately, an eCommerce platform could offer you more flexibility and tools specifically designed for selling products, which might be better suited to your needs than a regular WordPress site. Hope this helps!

Hi Arisara. Thank you for your quick reply. Can you PM me? I'm find that since my hosting is on WA, one of my sites keeps going down. Will integrating woo commerce be a problem on WA platform?
Hi MoneyMagnet3,
Thanks for reaching out! Integrating WooCommerce on the WA platform should generally work well since WA supports WordPress and its plugins. However, if you’re experiencing frequent downtime, it might be worth checking with WA’s support team to ensure there are no underlying issues with your hosting environment.

Integrating WooCommerce could actually help by providing better management tools for your inventory and orders. If you’re concerned about potential conflicts or technical issues, WA’s support team should be able to provide specific guidance on compatibility and help resolve any hosting-related problems.
Feel free to DM me if you need more detailed advice or if there's anything else I can assist with!

Automated Redirects - Redirects users to related products when an item sells out.
Real-Time Updates - Syncs inventory in real-time for accurate product availability.
Using Manufacturer's FTP

Consider Shopify for a dedicated e-commerce platform with robust inventory management and integrations.
I'd go with what's practical for you and your visitors.

I'm having a hard time adding another category and sub category to my site: How do I add a category and sub category using the "Appearance" then Menus section of Wordpress? P
Hi Shalisha
You're looking in the right place.
In the Menus area under Appearance, on the left-hand side you can click Categories (assuming you've got some categories set up),
select the categories you want to add to the menu and click the Add To Menu box. That will add the Category headings as Menu items. Then you can move them about as you like as for any other Menu item.
:-)
Richard
Hover over "Posts" then you will see categories. You can create new categories and add posts to them. Then you can add categories to a menu. All You Need to Know about Categories in WordPress
I understand what you're saying but that's not how it's set up in my site. Take a look at the attached.
Great! Yes. if you assign categories to your posts, then your posts will show up on those categories in your menu.
Nice categories.
