Everything Wordpress

Everything is laws, rules, and regulations these days:)

can anyone suggest which is the best compliance plugin I can use for my WordPress website?

Thank you

The Awin network now offers a tool called AdMission, which automatically places your affiliate disclaimer on any page containing an affiliate link. It's free and it works on affiliate links for all networks, not just Awin or ShareASale. To get it, you just need to become an approved Awin.com affiliate.

Great Question. What type of plugin are you after?

not sure really just wanted to make sure that when people visit my site i am totally compliant

One of them is the GDPR Plugin and the other is a cookie plug in. If you type in compliance in WA search bar it will come up with extra information on compliance. Other wise you can go to Plugins in your website and search for GDPR and Cookie. I hope I have been of some help.

Sorry I took so long to get back to you I had to go to work. Here is the tutorial about There are lots of topics in the search bar that you could look for. Also cookie I hope this helps

I hope you get the definitive answer that you are looking for, Matthew! I am watching with interest!

Jeff

Personal view but I think you are best off following the useful guidelines on privacy data etc. as per the training. It varies so much accross countries . Also Diane has just written this which is a good call... I think common sense and awareness is always key and intent is often what is used in a court legally... I also wrote this on media law which can be useful as a starter, UK focussed but useful generally .. I am sure that has left you even more confused !

thanks a lot for taking the time to respond:)

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

what niche would you choose and why?
I am thinking of trying again in 2020 with something new and I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or ideas for me?
Thank you

I will still choose the same niche. Because there’s a tremendous amount of value in self-development.

I probably would have made the same mistakes!

Jeff

I'd ensure I chose a niche that I was really, REALLY interested in - either because I was already in it or because I really wanted to learn more about it.

But...

The niche had to be 'deep' enough that I could go this "inch wide, mile deep" and also be able to expand into it at a later date.

So, if I said that my niche was going to be "smoking Thanksgiving turkeys" I could expand that into:
- charcoal grills
- gas grills
- competitive bbq
- different meats / cuts of meat
- recipes
- different drinks
- tailgating
- hot/cold smoking
- cheeses / vegetables / fish
- different pellets / different charcoals
- celebrations
- different cultures/countries
- indoor smokers
- diy smokers
- brining techniques
- marinades
etc. etc. etc.

thanks for your thoughts. I really appreciate you commenting on my question.

Any time Motly - happy to help

Everything Wordpress

Is there a way to check if one of my links is dodgy, as I have just had a message from a reader saying the links on one of my posts has hacked all his passwords, and caused him

Log out of WA. Go to the internet and search for your website. Ensure that u are not logged in. Open that article and click on that link. U will know if it's working right or not.

It could be something else if every thing is fine.

As already mentioned, it's possible, but sometimes people will think it is one thing (like your link) but not.

Hi, could be true and could also be bogus

What link is that ? please

just a link to a product on Clickbank from one of my posts. I have checked the link and they work fine,so was just wondering how would I check to see if someone says it is a dodgy link?

WA Affiliate Program

Hi, wealthy Affiliate community:)
I was just curious to find out...
If you had to look back at your time on Wealthy Affiliate, what would you do differently and why?

I would have put focus and treat this seriously by means of creating content consistently in spite of my busy schedule as a mom and working 9-6 sometimes 9-8.

I would have created extra time.

good advice to stay consistent with the content posting. thank you.

I have not been here long so I wouldn’t do anything different.

nice answer. you are doing your best so why change that :)

Exactly my friend

I would have started with bootcamp. Because I wasted two years not being about to decide if I wanted to promote WA or not

I went through the other training first, I wish I had done bootcamp first too. thank for the message.

Write as much quality content as possible in the first 6 months.
How your website looks and affiliate links are irrelevant without traffic

that's great advice, I like many others are so busy worry about appearance we forget to write content:)

Content is still king 😊

Took action a lot faster vs gaining on knowledge. You have to apply the two together i.e. learn and earn at same time so to speak.

taking action is the key to everything. you have to just get going and then stay consistent. thank you
